In your idealized society (probably), pedophilia is accepted and normal in life. But this is the real world. Let's discuss how pedophilia really plays out in action. Do you think you can, realistically, have a harmless sexual relationship with a child? If you think something societally needs to change first, what's the minimum in your opinion? In 2002 O'Carroll was convicted for a incident that happened in October 2001 where Customs officials found 94 full-frontal images of naked children aged between 2 and 10 apparently the pictures were not taken with consent, for this he was sentenced to nine-months imprisonment on three counts The conviction was later overturned in November 2002 by the Court of Appeal which held that the trial judge had been overly influenced by O'Carroll's campaigning. Even when initial sexual contact with a child isn't harmful, expecting them to keep it a secret is harmful. It weighs on their mind and inhibits their ability to communicate freely. You'd have to be autistic to knowingly take action that puts a child in harm's way, just because the harm is "society's fault".
