The Demon Castle is Dracula in many ways and it exists and moves in accordance to his will. As long as the Dark Lord exists, the Demon Castle does as well. It's not a creation of Dracula but more like a component of his existence that he can simply project into being wherever and whenever he wants. It doesn't destroy anything but rather just radiates outwards into existence from himself. It doesn't disturb the environment or anything and in fact its sudden appearance is often noted as uncanny. You wouldn't know the castle hadn't always been there if it weren't for the infinite demons, undead, and monsters pouring out of it and corrupting the landscape around it with Dracula's evil magic. To use Fate terms, the Demon Castle is basically Dracula's Reality Marble but he can leave its vicinity if he wants and instead of requiring magical energy to sustain it just flat-out gives him nigh-infinite energy by existing.

It's far too soon for a jump since only four of a planned seven books are out but I should really get more potential jumpmakers into the Last Horizon early. Has anyone else read The Last Horizon? It's pretty good and would have one hell of a ship option in a theoretical jump.
