>1) Where do you see your OC fitting into the world?
Apocyan Timberborn does not remotely fit into the world of Remnant, and that is a salient point of many interactions in the fic.
People can tell who their own people are; they will be able to tell that Apo isn't from anywhere they know, though to exactly which extent will be based on the individual in question who sees this character.
His story begins invoking the same tone as Fallout 1 - a death simulator, demonstrating just how thoroughly his civilized candy ass will get wrecked by the uncaring world.
What is able to accomplish, however, will grow - by no determinable means. There is no status screen, no game menu, no character sheet. What will come may as well be beamed directly into his head.
To the people on the ground, there will be no identifiable source or cause; mainly because what he will do will shatter everything they thought possible, be it through Aura or Semblance.
And that's the point to be driven into various characters. The dynamics at play are simply not the same between him and the rest of the world. Though as he's used to being isolated, he focuses on the opportunity that has been granted by the providence.
>2) Your character has a fairytale, right? How much does it come through in their design or story?
He does not. He is an amalgamation of other things that you could make a fairytale from.
His first name pertains to a colour that is made impossible within the gaze of the yearning, burning sun through the continuous will and imposition of that star has been with the human race since its beginning.
His second name is the title of a story-making tool that lets one write the fate of two cultures of beings that saw man's works and imitated them to survive in a world where in the harshest places, it was advised to sharpen your incisors - as the humans did not survive, and neither would someone who didn't prepare for the worst.
>3) Tell about your character's weapon and how they use it. Did they make it themselves? Hand-me-down? Standard issue from an organization?
He says, to the ones that decide to listen, that talent you have naturally - from the nurture of your parents and the nature of what you grew up around. Skill, however, is only developed by hours and hours and hours of beating on your craft; hours that this character did not have when learning to defend himself.
And that is how his weapon came to be. Blending the combat functions of the basic weapons he was given by the Family that saved him from being effectively stranded, it is not like the first of the attached images, but they serve well enough as a close approximation. An elegantly simple amalgamation of two butterfly-linked curved swords, nearly four feet across its outer circumference when fully unfolded.
Based on the Bat'leth of Star Trek, it will adhere to the It's Also A Gun rule by having integrated into its foldable halves the chambers and firing assemblies of a pair of 55-round Kriss Vector .45 submachine guns.
When not in use, folding the two halves together to a resting/safety position will make it vaguely resemble the beam sword of a Sangheili from the Halo series.
>4) Answer the Faunus Question

Every sentiment therein applies to how the White Fang are right to be a global counter-exploitation insurgency.
Though, someone moulded by the product of ten thousand years of organized warfare sure could offer some pointers, and demonstrate how to succeed in earnest.
To Apo's perspective, the human beings of Remnant have had proof at their side that the human species is not alone in the universe since their early eras. And what have they done? Same shit, different planet. That is a mockery of everything that someone from this character's home could stand for.
>5) Does your OC have a team or is it just them? Tell about the team and if it has a cohesive theme/style/concept.
As the fic is a crossover between a strategy game of cities and armies, I'm going to break from most RWBY fics and have a lot of focus be on large scale militarized force in motion.
The majority of focus will be the life and times of the founding of the first International Legion - from the crucible of contracted warfare against warlords in Vacuo to making a difference to the ongoing effort of
Aside from what will become available to Apo, the two main halves of this Legion will be based first on characters from World in Conflict, and then later acquiring something that could be found in the Global Liberation Army of Command & Conquer: Generals.
He will not be a general, or even the idea of a Huntsmarshal that I've been toying with. Apocyan is nothing other than the contractor of two battalions of what will fundamentally be a paramilitary force.
