Welcome to /fast/, 8chan's Sonic the Hedgehog discussion board. >What is this place? This place was created in the 2014 4chan exodus to serve as a place for anons of 4chan's Sonic the Hedgehog General (/sthg/) to migrate to. Back then it didn't have a lot of success, so it remained as a backup place for /sthg/ in times of 4chan outages. Right now some of us are trying to repurpose it into an alternative to the original general. Since we're currently few here, we're mostly staying in a general thread where everything goes to make the posting seem faster (instead of having many threads with very few posts each). I'm sure you'll find the current one below, and in its OP you'll find updated resources and news. I don't like the way character development is conceptualized in Ian's script for Frontiers. I haven't paid enough attention to the comics to comment on them but I get the feeling this is a problem with Ian's writing in general I'm even starting to dislike the phrase "character development" itself. I don't want to see the character "develop" in front of me, I want to see how the character is and how the character reacts to different situations

Here's a thread game. Posting it here cause we can do die roll here. Putting in 10 players and 5 zones that were suggested by anons and letting this game play out to see what happens with input from anons and die rolls. >How does it work? You guys reply with a character name to decide who's turn it is. That character will then roll an event with die and the outcome will depend on luck or stats. There's tons of different events with more being added, anything can happen. Basically, it's a stupid simulator game for fun.

So with Green Hill now becoming the defacto first stage for Sonic games, this gets me thinking maybe Sonic Team literally has no ideas for new zones anymore. Do you have any original zone themes that you've come up with that you think would be dope in a Sonic game? We've yet to see a disco zone, I think that could be cool if handled right.
