No work today because leaf election. I get to paint the dominate commissars. I'm trying out using red as an undercoat underneath fair skin acrylic paints. I got the inspiration from watching a timelapse painting video: https://youtu.be/eJDeEJPmVc0?t=247 4:07 into the video is when the red over Horus' face comes in. I kind of went "maybe this will work." Best part is I don't have to add an extra paint colour to the paints I am using to paint these Roman Guardsmen. I'm trying to keep the number of paints used for this army low.

I hate to say it but these models need the MK IV Wolf beakie at least one or two its a shame GW was buck broken so hard by the outrage they removed it so you can only get them recasted now. Its so odd internet memes made them remove the wolf helmets but they sold upside down bolters in the 30k grey slayer kit for YEARS

Thoughts on the World Eater discourse? After leaving it for a few days, it really shows who is interested only in the game side of things vs the hobby in general. As good as the rules may be, the identity of World Eaters as an army is now pretty muddy and having an 8bound character isn't going to fix that.
