That's what you're seeing, not what I'm showing.
What's wrong with being simple and sexy? How is expressing femininity by focusing on physical fitness and beauty a bad thing? How is that any less a valid depiction of modern feminity than a powerfemme CEO of a non-profit?
That's why I find the harem anime to ironically be the most feminist genre - it shows a genuine diversity of women. There are heaps of different ways to be a woman. Hollywood over the last 10 years or so has just pumped out girlboss after girlboss, every age weight and skin colour, and created an environment where if you're not the smartest, strongest, most courageous little miss perfect in existence then you're somehow doing it wrong. What the harem anime shows is that it's okay if you're dumb, or smart, or tall, or short, or happy, or mean, or perverted, or chaste. Everyone is valid, everyone deserves love and affection.
And what I love about bimbo culture is how inclusive it is. Gender diverse = fine. Neurodiverse = all good. High achievers, homemakers, lesbians, whatever. It's about taking control of your life and becoming the person you choose to be.
So you can fuck off with your judgemental bullshit.
