>>164739 (Cross-thread) >>166272 (Cross-thread) Was lurking to see why /#/ was even still in 8chan but saw the Vshojo qn i'll answer. >No graduation stream >Retains IP and channels >Collabs and interactions with other members allowed Also the most likely rrat about why she was let go is because she decided to use a competing merch provider instead of Vshojo's which means that they were getting zero revenue from her (because Vshojo takes 0% off superchats and memberships but instead take a cut off merch)
>>166752 We're still here because IDs filter the schizos Thanks for the info, nice to know that my assumptions were valid. And I remember seeing the merch rrat here yesterday.
>>166752 All you have to do is not snake on merch, no wonder they got rid of her
>>166752 >why /#/ was even still in 8chan because im tired of vt /#/ having a retard spamming the same retarded shit for 8 hours with jannies protecting them
Whilst I know hololive probably gets a return on investment very quick. I wonder for a vshojo debut (not preexisting vtuber) can they even recoup costs if they dont do merch?
>>166752 > she decided to use a competing merch provider instead of Vshojo's Which is weird because Vshojo let you sell merch on your own if that doesn't compete directly with their own Merch. I know GEEGA and Kson do it. Mouse does it too. If that's the case she must have went out of her way to cut every merch Vshojo sell concerning her which is pretty stupid considering Vshojo let you get 100% of everything that isn't merch.
(1009.01 KB 1710x1374 bruh.png)

nigga... /vt/ is dead as shit
>>166879 Vshojo mainly makes money from sponsors. The merch is there only to fulfil their fiduciary obligations as a company. That's why their recruitment model is heavy on already established vtubers. If I remember correctly their JP gen NOVA had sold out their merch in the first week.
>>166899 >sponsors lol >JP gen NOVA had sold out their merch in the first week. Proof? I don't remember anyone checking that out
>>166892 yesterday # was getting archived between 500-700 posts, shit is bad.. tho i guess that was what jannies wanted for their small corpo chuubas.. until they get some massive yab or terminated
>>166927 guess they got what they wanted. /#/'s now rules /vt/ kek
>>166935 may the best twitter screencap win
>>166881 I'm pretty sure she shit on Vshojo's merch whilst promoting her "friends" own company. As for Geega and other members, most of the merch they sell is stuff that Vshojo either doesn't produce themselves (like ironmouse cosplay stuff or merch of IP that belongs only to the vtuber like Geega's GTA mascot characters) >>166899 >>166910 >Sponsors Pretty sure Matara implied yesterday that WMA (the hollywood agency that Matara signed on with) also had to give Vshojo a cut for every sponsor they got for her, but after terminating the contract they no longer have to. So theoretically, if a Vshojo member becomes a popular voice actor for a movie and gets millions of dollars Vshojo gets a cut of that even if they didn't find the sponsor themselves.

>>166910 I don't know about the debut merch but some of the birthday merch for NOVA member Hotaru sold out in a day or two. At one point the cards, keychain and bundle sold out, the card and keychain restocked and sold out again, bundle was never restocked. Posters never sold out or did so very late. >>166980 The other thing is that Matara's already worked with this other company for her merch, specifically her first anniversary merch, and it wasn't a problem. Even if she was committed to only do merch with them going forward, VShojo could have just given her an ultimatum (which she would have accepted) instead of outright firing her. The original dispute may have revolved around merch because she's obsessed with it, but it escalated into something more, possibly an NDA violation, that led management to take the nuclear option.

Graduating talents? Holotalk? What are you talking about? Myth just debuted, they're having a Minecraft collab soon. I think they're totally going to make some crazy shit like the JP server!
>>169309 Gura's reincarnation is going to be fascinating if she thinks the big pressure things won't exist in the indy world. She will still start out with huge numbers and won't have the walled garden to deflect the leeches out there. Just look at the Sinder situation. Crabs in a bucket.

>>169378 >She will still start out with huge numbers and won't have the walled garden to deflect the leeches out there Nimi is doing completely fine, even with the twitter leeches.
>>169424 So far she's been fine, but she has not really done any collabing. It's also been only three months since she debuted. Just streaming on Youtube does make a difference though. Will Gura just be Youtube only? I feel like she will be on Twitch at least partly for the extra freedom. Twitch will bring out all the dramafags though.
>>169405 They REALLY hated omegay
>>169508 No one liked that fag
>>169485 >Twitch >extra freedom bruh. Also, after 5 years of YT, i doubt she will be going to twitch outside of mayb very rare occasions. Remember how 50% of all people thought Nimi was gonna be a twitch streamer until she slayed that rrat.
>>169516 You have a lot more freedom for BGM on Twitch because you can put it on a separate channel that doesn't get recorded in the vod. On Youtube your vod just gets demonetized/monetization seized/possibly copyright striked at the whim of the copyright owner.
>>169485 This, and its why anyone who every did leave to try to either let the heat cool off or get a more chill environment to escape fame are barking up the wrong tree, or should reconsider a career in entertainment, because that is part of the game. And now that you're on your own to find your connections, parse the chaff and leeches as others have said, that can end up crushing people who can't handle it.

>>173987 Perfect time to sneak it in before AnyColor fiscal year ends.
>>173987 They didn't even have a stream to counterprogram with, so they clearly didn't want people to be aware of this. Imagine if Cover announced that someone in Hololive was """"graduating"""" the same day of the announcement. Then they proceeded to unceremoniously delete all their content and any content on OTHER people's channels that featured them on the same day. No one went back to delete Rushia from their VODs when she was terminated, yet the snakes in NijiEN did so within hours of the announcement. Even Dumb and Dumber got a couple weeks notice for their """"graduations"""" and all their content is viewable to this day. It doesn't sound like he's on good terms with them based on his roommate either. Poor timing as well, Hololive is about to finish their sequence of graduations and now that negativity is being passed on to Nijisanji. I don't really keep up with NijiEN, but him and Fatgur weren't on my list this year and it feels like no one is off the table for the queue this year.
https://www.inc.com/annabel-burba/this-company-is-trying-to-bring-japans-virtual-content-creators-to-the-u-s/91156080 Inc.com interviewed Kiara, IRyS, and YAGOO about the hololive expansion efforts in the U.S., various collabs, and how the sold out BD/GriMoire concerts show there's a lot of potential waiting to be tapped.

>>174939 >Kiara Takanashi is a lot like a typical American content creator I feel this is wrong, vtubers in general are more diverse with the kind of content they put out there when compared with regular flesh streamers. flesh streamers generally take one niche and rarely go out from there be it reaction slop, gameplay or ASMR, for vtubers jumping from ASMR to gameplay to later drop some cover/MV is the norm.

Can someone speculated for me on how has Mint been been inclining so much lately? She now dwarfs her popularity in niji. She didn't get a particularly strong drama boost, had a long gap before redebuting, doesn't particularly spam buff games, isn't part of any agency or super popular circle of vtubers to get a halo from, and her incline has been consistent and gradual over time. I could chalk it up to "she's just that good", but I can't help but feel like that's just me being biased as a wisp. Why?

>>177181 That scenario would just mean the internal issues around management and motivation get dragged out for another year. We would get another holofes performance, a few more good stream moments; but the end would be the same. The ideal scenario is that all that stuff gets fixed but whatever Gura saw on the inside convinced her it's not. Also I'm not factoring Ollie at all into my decision.

As my first experience of Gura's singing: I thought her first songs were mid, but that burn it down song was actually pretty impressive wow
>>169720 After a few days of being incredibly stable /vyt/ has had another noticeable decrease in users. Today's number of users was 934, down from 1008 yesterday. The drop isn't as significant as when 4chan first came back, but a drop of 70 users is pretty big compared to the board only fluctuating 20ish users up and down the last few days. For sitewide PPH things seem to be stabilizing a bit. The highest PPH today was 1789, down from 1896 yesterday. Today's lowest PPH was around 649, up slightly from yesterday which was around 636. The highest PPH had it's lowest drop since 4chan came back, only decreasing 107 posts, and the low is up slightly.
So the FANSA was the only real live performance or the Ash Again was pre-recorded? I don't see how Gura could recover that fast without like a minute or 2 before singing the next song perfectly fine.

>>177828 Quality was definitely an issue. I do appreciate the "rawness" in a way though. For length, it depends on how Gura thought of it. She might have treated the relay as part of the lead-in to her live. In that sense, it's "long". But as a wagie, I only caught the Uno stream, so it definitely felt short even though the remaining Myth members said their goodbyes.

>>177828 I think the length and the quality of the performances was deliberate on her part. As to what she meant by it, maybe it was more for her than it was for us, or maybe it's just for us to ponder. But I do feel like she was trying to say something to someone with it. I appreciate it. I love everything she makes. I won't ask her for more; she wouldn't have put it out at all if it wasn't up to whatever standard she set for it. Call me whatever you want; I've no blood left to bleed.

>>190330 Small concert organizers like this literally can’t afford Holos. They can get ex-corpos relatively cheap in comparison who are just happy to perform even if it’s for pennies.
(347.89 KB 500x500 1698235311893460.png)

The fact they picked 2 literal who indies for the event is quite a big deal, before there was almost no chance you'd get even a reply from any holo because the company was in between, now with this move both Nimi and Dooby are saying they are open to interact with plebs and it's ring kissing season. Could this be detrimental for them in the long run? As long as the people they admit in their new circle are on brand it will be fine I think.
Someone remember to check stocks for Shiori if she releases a limited set later.
>>190333 she always struck me as an industry plant fine girl, though don't recognize hyuni, probably someone's friend
>>190165 Nimi and Dooby are still both SOVLful singers. I looked up the other 2 and their singing is okay. Should be interesting.
4/#/ is melting down...
>>190486 when are they arent
>>190418 Nimi is doing pretty well for herself but she's missing any sort of box effect she got in Holo. Aside from the big names we already know about I'm not sure if there's anyone who can reproduce the same chemistries she had but maybe there are some indie hidden gems.
>>188727 Looking forward to these >>190165 Hmm, will probably try to get a ticket just for Nimi (streaming ticket if I fail). At least it'll be an interesting experience to attend/watch a concert where I have absolutely no investment in some of the performers. I pay some attention to Dooby because she's ex-holo, but unless the two-others enter the "nimi-sphere", there's zero reason for me to explore their content/channels. It's sort of like when Shishigami Leona appeared during Towa's live.
>>190418 detrimental things i can think of are. >concert is performed on movie theater screen >Nimi spam collabs with no names now This concert might be awkward in hindsight, 1600 people there for dooby and nimi (the weakest singers) while the other 2 are just background fodder
>>190418 It will most likely just be like when Mint took Phase’s money to show up at their concert as the headliner. Just there to perform, get a free 3D model and then never interact with them again.
>>190418 >Could this be detrimental for them in the long run? Almost certainly unless they're very good judges of character. They are not.
Just got this indie EtsuNamu in my recommends, pretty interesting graph January 2024 she created a YouTube account for gaming shit, march 2024 she created a react channel and a clip channel It is that easy to grow as a streamer I still don't get why twitch streamers are so fucking lazy that they do not cut out the waiting screens from the VOD that they upload on YouTube
>>190773 Oh i've been watch8ng her recently(mostly the react slop, and a few dtreams). She seems really sweet.
>>190539 Another factor to consider is the concert is taking place in LA on the West Coast. If I had to guess, Nimi's audience is more East Coast versus West Coast. This means more of the potential audience going through the hoops of getting flights and hotel rooms.
>>190773 >>190879 I watched some of her stuff about a week ago, she sounds nice hope she doesn't homocollab for "networking"
I haven't checked but I'm guessing 4/#/ is unusable because the the nimi news
>>191169 It was a shitshow of spam about how Hololive is doomed. They could at least wait for some numbers to come in for the numbers thread. I would love to know what the profit model Oshispark is going for with these concerts. Are Nimi/Dooby doing this with a discounted performance fee or maybe the opposite? How much is being invested in the show actually looking and sounding good? We'll likely never know these numbers.
>>190773 >that they do not cut out the waiting screens from the VOD I think twitch allows you to export the VOD directly from the past broadcasts to youtube. So if they're doing that they're likely not even touching the raw vod in any way before uploading.
>>191805 it does, from the dashboard a lot don't even use that, though, and a community member handles it for them (which can be set to editor and then do it from the dashboard for them if they're trusting) it really just doesn't matter whether they chop it or not, since someone either puts a timestamp in the comments or sponsorblocks the intro and few people watch vod archives anyway if they're going to do any editing at all, they should at least structure the stream for youtube style content like longplays and give it a quick chop some koreans like to do that
>>191889 True, editing streams and putting longplays or even just regularly releasing a series can be a good way to pull in a few extra viewers, especially if it's for a non-FOTM (since those tend to be way too saturated) niche/cult classic type of game, those tend to have more people trawling youtube looking for playthroughs I've noticed. But you really need that modicum of editing/curation, just dumping stuff alongside a thousand other misc. dated vods is a surefire way to never get algorithmic traction.
>>191948 yeah, the koreans will have like 3 channels minimum main polished content, quick clips, and full archive
>>191948 This is one area I feel Hololive is lacking. They really should invest in some editors for making condensed versions of longer gameplays.
Do we have a site for archiving like Holotower?
>>192376 nope, but you could start one without that much effort/$
>>192376 Threads are currently being archived by /vault/, another 8moe board. The issue with true archives of this site is that cloud storage is expensive and the file size and number of files is considerably higher than 4. An archive for /vyt/ specifically would be more manageable than the whole site, but someone would have to step up and do it, and would require maintenance because you'll end up archiving illegal spam.
Shioris birthday today right? Otherwise numbers looking kinda grim outside of nimi
>>192732 just dump any media over a couple mb nobody needs all that also don't archive live, just grab threads that are postlocked or abandoned (there's a tool for it)
>>192799 Does the tool work for LynxChan? It breaks a lot of stuff.
>>193001 Cool thx
>>186180 /vyt/ saw another drop in users today. The board had 879 users today, down from 963. We lost almost 100 users. The sitewide PPH also went down. Today's high was 1762, down from 1953 yesterday. Today's high was more in line with they day before which had a high of 1789. Today's lowest PPH was around 474, down from 651 yesterday.

>>191889 >it really just doesn't matter whether they chop it or not it does matter, the beginning of a video is always the most important one and I think it is safe to assume that there is at least a non-zero amount of potential new viewers that will just click away when they see a loading screen especially since even if there are time stamps (not common at all for small and even medium sized streamers) they are usually in the comments and not in the video this is why I am also an advocate for not having loading screens when you stream on YouTube, the frame is the waiting room so just start your stream asap and start talking so you maximise the VOD quality, if you could cut out things out of your VOD and leave the chat intact then I would see no problem with having loading screens etc

>>196524 It wasn't big yeah but the point is that there is a pattern, Kiara took part of that event, Senzawa followed oshipark which has ties to offkai and now we have this concert with Nimi and Dooby. We can only imagine how rooted this pipeline is inside holoEN.
>>196218 I'm no businessman, but nowadays I assume it's one of the following: Spend investor money to undercut all the competition and monopolize the market, then raise your prices or Just need one big hit to make it all worth it or Appear big until you get bought or money laundering?

>166552, so I can find this easier Data manually grabbed from vrabi, blue line (all chatters) used . This is a 30-day moving average, so data was collected from the beginning of the year even though the graphs start on February 1st. Again unique chatters is just a proxy and does not need to reflect the actual audience. I was interested in the trendlines though. >Purpose To test the effects of Stars collabs. >Vrabi datasets These are some observations I've made from collecting chatter data from vrabi when I did something similar around when Justice debuted. Vrabi updates it's dataset every week around Monday-ish and holds onto that data for around 4-5 weeks. This is important because if a chatter who is usually holoEN-only chats in a StarsEN chat, the chatter will be counted for both holoEN and StarsEN starting around Monday. When a Stars collab happen, it's safe to assume some of Shiori's chatters will send a message in a StarsEN member's chat. That means for at least 4-5 weeks that chatter who normally doesn't show up as a StarsEN chatter is now counted as such by vrabi. >Vertical Lines Green line represents when "special" streams fall off the 30-day moving average (30DMA). These significantly distort the 30DMA from the normal trendline. For example, the first green line represents when Shiori's January outfit review would have fallen off the trendline. The stream significantly increased the number of chatters and would continue to affect the 30DMA trendline for 30 days. >3 Vertical Reds and 2 Greens The red lines represent the the days that each Stars Collab occurred. The green lines coming after represents when the data from the collab would fall outside the 30DMA. This way we can at least see how the demographics change while the collabs are still affecting the 30DMA and what residual effects they might have once the 30 days are up. For example, the StarsEN line should trend up after each collab from a combination of shared StarsEN chatters showing up in Shiori's chat and her chatters visiting StarsEN channels. >Graphs One graphs the 30DMA of total chatters from each group and the other graphs the 30DMA of what % of chatters were from each group. >Total chatters from each group This reflects changes to the total number of audience members better and where they might be coming from. It also reflects whether the total number of unique chatters is growing/declining. This is where the vertical lines are important too as "event" streams severely distort the trendline. The 5/3 jump not marked was the result of Shiori's b-day. >% of chatters Better reflects the composition of the audience. >Notes (data from January 1st, 2025 - May 3rd, 2025) - Lowest StarsEN chatters before the StarsEN collabs: 1) 2/11 - FastFood Sim w/ Advent - 143.5 StarsEN - 1,025 total chatters 2) 3/1 - MonHun Wilds w/ IRyS, Bae, and Nerissa - 143.78 StarsEN - 1,065 total chatters Lowest after the StarsEN collabs 1) 4/18 - Urban Myth Dissolution - 284.28 StarsEN - 781 total chatters Chatter data for this stream is still affected by the three StarsEN collabs, but if similar numbers happen after 5/6 (4/6 was the REPO collab), it'll show a permanent change in Shiori's audience. - DEV_IS bump on the % graph happened around the same time the new holoserver debuted
>>197931 Oops, missed highlighting two. Image of actual data. These percentages are from vrabi, numbers = total chatters * percentages. Percentages used in the graphs are NOT average of percentages on vrabi. It's recalculated using total chatters and derived total chatters for each group (average percentages is bad, mkay?). Blue highlight - holo collab Grey highlight - starscollab Still trying to figure out whether I can just share this anonymously on spreadsheets, but I'm retarded so not taking the risk.

Is /hlg/ the same as /ホロライブ/? If so, Tower's is way more active. /towa/ as another mention as well. All these were determined using just the eye test based on when the thread began and the frequency of posts today. For why the JP/Justice generals seem deader on Tower vs 4ch, it could just be a case of /hlg/ and /hlgg/ cannibalizing everyone else. Live-posting alone in a general can be pretty lonely.
>>247522 >either dead or more active on 4ch By this I meant completely dead or just 1-3 posts today on Tower. Oops.
>>247522 Oof, this is what I get for not being careful and double-checking. /haachamaworld/ is also dead on Tower and active on 4ch. Tower should have also seen a drop in users due to /neuro/, /zord/, /mint/, etc. moving back to 4ch. Probably explains why holo generals still have some activity on 4ch. There's overlap between fans of indies and holos. Given that holo threads are dead here, 4ch is really the only option if they just want to stick to one website. >>245947 /vt/ fracturing into /vyt/, /2434/, and Tower is going to be pretty interesting down the line when vtubers go on long breaks/hiatuses, graduate, or get terminated. Before when everyone shared a board, fans were exposed to other fandoms/vtubers and can just park themselves in a general while they waited for their oshi to return or to move on. It also made congregating fans easier, especially after a termination (i.e. dokibird). Tower has /uuu/, /awat/, /sakuna/, /who/, and /ggg/ still, so as long as fans of ex-holos still want to congregate, they might just stick to the site, especially if their oshis reincarnate. This means that there's a better chance for those fans to stay within or associated with the holobox and that indies/other corpos will have a harder time peeling off fans. /2434/ is interesting because as far as I can see, none of the ex-nijis are there, so it'll be interesting to see how they deal with a graduation/termination and reincarnation. /mans/ and /stars/ not being on Tower is also interesting, but that's something to maybe revisit in the future.

So, technically the real /who/ is in tower. /ope/ - I honestly thought the /vt/ /ope/ is just an anti thread. How come it's reasonably faster? Would actually be hilarious if it's just their schizos, antis and cuckposters spamming at 16.39 pph. /shig/ - Pre-hack /shig/ was unusable. Right now, tower /shig/ is a bit of a hugbox, and /vt/ /shig/ smells like an anti thread but it's not nearly as bad as pre-hack. /gigi/ and /ciao/ - I don't go there but the speeds are comparable. Any regulars to chime in?
>>248416 Based >/mori/ - 4.34/8.13 - 1 to 1.87 tower win Honestly this surprised me. Thought all the Bonemen went back to /vt/
>>248416 >/baubau/ - 49.30(!)/7.33 - 6.73 to 1 conclusive vt win Funny thing is that is really bad /vt/ numbers for /baubau/. They'd go through 4 or 5 threads on days with stream, with threads during stream hours hitting at least 600 post before falling off the catalog. Now they are going through 2 or 3 threads a day with threads during stream time barely reaching 400 posts despite it being 1-2 hours to page 10.
>>248865 Interesting. I think my data also underestimates /uuu/ since I only grabbed the last 3 days or so and we only had one stream in that timespan. Pre-hack /vt/ /uuu/ would hit 6-8 ppm during the stream but would halt significantly off stream unless there was a timeloop going on. Tower /uuu/ feels slower. I *think* I've seen /uuu/ churn through one and a half 1500 post threads in a single day which would put it at 93.75 pph.
>>248927 Just calculated the speed for the last 14 globals on tower: 20110 posts in 34.52 h => 582.56 pph or 9.71 ppm. Tracks well with what I've seen on 4stats pre-hack. Meanwhile, /vt/ global: 1953 posts in 34.20 h => 57.11 pph or 0.95 ppm. It's beyond dead.
>>248943 Given the uptick in /hlgg/ anons who don’t know how to spoiler on Tower, it’s kinda clear some of those who held out hope for people going back to /vt/ threw in the towel and made their way to Tower

>>248416 /ope/ has a few that have been committed for months now, thread most active during streams and burger mornings/SEA nights. Since it came back the latest angle has been beefing between both the threads or just making the same exact post in both places to see who bites.
>>248416 Also, I guess if we’re giving status reports on splits, I can chime in with /∞/. After /vt/ came back, those who said they’d go back spend a day on the board and decided Tower was the way to go. After someone dropped a link to Tower in the thread directly, it was effectively over for /vt//∞/ with a good chunk of anons migrating over and a few splitting their time in both. That said, the thread on /vt//∞/ struggles to get posts even during streams while Tower somehow managed 2 1500’s recently and both threads are plagued by an newly born anti 4chan schizo

Some (rather arbitrary) ENReco data. #1 Finale was on 24.09.08 (pic 1) #2 Finale was on 25.05.11 (pic 2) In #1 Mumei's wave bots receded at 12:20, so I'm taking that as the snapshot because otherwise it's a pretty linear stretch. We know for sure Mumei was botted, but this snapshot accounts for it. Kronii and Kiara did not participate. In #2 I'm taking the latest possible snapshot that falls into a reasonably linear stretch. I don't know what that 12:05 rise for CC is about (pic 3). It was an injection of almost 2k viewers that didn't cause other PoVs bleed by that much or at all. Checking the VoD, 12:05 was when CC was reading the final dialogue with Outlander and it was a huge RP moment for her as I understand it. There's also chat activity to back the surge up. My best guess is it was a bunch of people who were otherwise watching another PoV from their adblocked PCs tuning in on their phones or something to that vein. In any case, I'm taking 12:05 as the snapshot. We know for sure Biboo and Mori were botted. Ame, Fauna, Mumei and Gura have graduated. Mori: 2109 => 5874* Kiara: N/A => 2583 Ina: 3758 => 3726 -- 99% Ame: 4637 => N/A Gura: 12268 => N/A Fauna: 7774 => N/A Mumei: 2404 => N/A Kronii: N/A => 3933 IRyS: 2184 => 2485 -- 113% Bae: 2117 => 1501 -- 71% Fuwawa: 1530 => 1808 --118% Mococo: 2067 => 1526 -- 74% Biboo: 5386 => 8021* Nerissa: 3463 => 5406 -- 156% Shiori: 1742 => 2421 -- 139% GG: 8289 => 7590 -- 92% CC: 2123 => 3169 -- 149% RR: 1752 => 1657 -- 95% ERB: 3365 => 3075 -- 91% Summing up the clean datapoints (no bots, no graduates, no those who skipped #1) we get: 32390 => 34364 -- 106% The sum of graduated members' PoVs is 27083. The sum of Kiara and Kronii is 6206. Now we're getting into second order effects. There's essentially a few cohorts of viewers here: 1. SNOW viewers that left the box, 2. SNOW viewers that did not leave the box and diffused over all the PoVs, 3. People who discovered Hololive since #1, 4. People who left the box other than SNOW viewers. We must assume, some part of Kiara and Kronii's viewers were watching #1 diffused across the box. Some part of that 6206 is ex-SNOW viewers. Etc, etc, but the further we go, the less the absolute numbers we're talking about are. Another thing is the King Engine which seems to be absolutely impossible to account for. Like, only a madman would try to compare pic 4 and pic 5 and hope to draw any conclusions (although, notice chat speed).

Doing chat overlap thing to see where audiences might have floated off to and settled at, but did this on the side because it's easy to do. Pretty interested to see what the chat speed anon ends up getting. This ARR method only highlights the most obvious botting, so it's not a great filter. Data is from vstats/YouTube for total watch hours, total vod views, and vod length. Numbers were collected 05/11/2025, so vod views for the 05/09-05/11 required going to YouTube for revision. In addition, if I understand correctly, total watch hours is determined more or less around when the stream ends and vstats does not accumulate additional watch hours. Data was collected on the ENReco 1, holoGTA, 7DTD, and ENReco 2 collabs (holoEN-only). X-axis is stream length in hours and the Y-axis is Watch Hours/Total Views. The graphs plots all 310 streams on a scatter graph for comparison. >Graph 1 Graph 1 ignores botting and tries to compare each collab "holistically". holoGTA differing as much as it did might be a combination of holoEN being a "slice" of the total viewership (so holoJP and holoID was also included, the slope might resemble the other collabs) and/or the holoEN audience catching the vods later. Again ignoring bots, ENReco1 differs from ENReco2 in terms of how often each holoEN member streamed, when they streamed, and how often. ENReco1 also came first, so there's more "tourist" pull with it. During ENReco1, holoEN members would overlap ENReco with other content. This means that the audience is more likely to move around and increasing total views, flattening the trendlines. >Graph 2 I'm not good at identifying bots, so the one's I've tried to highlight are the most obvious ones. Wave is mostly straightforward and I'm pretty sure both Mori and Biboo were repeatedly hit by the King Engine. Plateau bots are more of my guesses. Raiding is also split between "Raid" vs "Raided Bots". Unless, I could trace it, I played it conservative and labeled those stream "jumps" in ccv as a "raid" rather than "raided bots". Do note that on ENReco news days, early holoEN members do see large funnels. >Observations Raided streams don't really differ from "normal" streams. The King Engine effect is really present the longer a stream is or if someone is raided when the King Engine starts decelerating. There's probably more "plateau/top hats", but I'm not familar with identifying those other than the most obvious ones (huge cliffs out of nowhere). >Link (Collected data for others to use and double check) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTFBm7KrDxHUPNBsLJiCgjJlLo59jKjLt4LHaYhInW7171ECTfovyr-tITNBQcNWMP1UmOYjmq_K3KE/pubhtml
>>282628 I thought that watched hours = total views*stream length, is it really just CCV*stream length?
>>282628 >>282905 I actually don't know how vstats calculates the average. If the curve were continuous, you'd just integrate the curve from t0 to t1 and then divide by (t1 - t0). In reality we have a set of discrete values and we just find the (weighted in case polling was done at disparate intervals) average. The thing is, the numbers don't quite match. For example, the advent collab from today: https://www.vstats.jp/video/Dlp0zY48or8 Average CCV: 14677, stream length: 2:06:10 => 2.1028. The watch-hours should be 30862.7956 but the site gives 30822. The difference is tiny but it shouldn't be there. What gives? On that note, we've got an unbotted Advent collab stream and an unbotted Nimi stream to compare. 14677 avg. vs. 11123 avg. Kinda low-ish numbers for Nimi after coming back this week. She had only got to ~11200 before Biboo unarchived started. After Biboo ended she got a funnel from 11500 to 12900, not a bad amount of overlap. Dooby got botted. Lmao. There's no running from the King Engine.

>>283106 So while checking my manually collected data for errors, there's three examples where vstats-watch hours (VWH) differ from calculated watch hours (CWH = avg ccv * stream length) by over 500 hours. https://www.vstats.jp/video/dRCvSHBTvSk VWH = 24,545 CWH = 20,742 Difference = 3,803 https://www.vstats.jp/video/iy0fMrzhwOY VWH = 7,942 CWH = 7,405 Difference = 537 https://www.vstats.jp/video/-QKg8fFau9GM VWH = 8,476 CWH = 7,590 Difference = 886 The graph shape with the combination of vstats always being greater than the CWH does seem to imply that significant and quick changes is what's causing the variance. Vstats might be putting in some consideration for Z's and streams dropping out. The audience is still there, so vstats might be compensating for those. You can see that with Nerissa's ENReco1 Day 4 stream too. Vstats recorded a stream length of 5:14:26, but the graph is obviously greater than 6 hours, so it further supports the idea that vstats considers additional factors with its data. >ChatGPT Threw the graphs to ChatGPT and asked for a "visual estimation" of watch hours. Nerissa Day 4 - 24,675 Nerissa Day 5 - 6,935 CC - 8,231 Estimations were made by dividing the streams into segments, usually into "ramp up", "stable", and "drop" segments. It estimated an average CCV per each segment and multiplied it by the estimated segment length. If the estimations were all greater than CWH, it'd be great, but they weren't. Going to stick with vstats just for consistency and avoid adding more steps into generated graphs until there's a better way.
/vt/ was down again yesterday, from 35872 PPD to 33245. A bit lackluster for a Friday but not a big change overall, and only a couple thousand posts below the Friday before. >>287696 /vyt/'s users are down just a bit again. Today we had 614 users, down from 626 yesterday. We could hit the 500s tomorrow. Sitewide PPH is again pretty stable. The PPH high and PPH low are both up a bit today. Today's PPH high is 1284, up from 1248 yesterday. The PPH low is around 464, up from around 328 yesterday.
>>294623 I've gone through and measured PPD as well, by catching posts at 00:00 UTC and comparing the difference. Here's raw tables for the last 10 days. Today is -679 over this time last week. 5/17: 6397 5/16: 5673 5/15: 5663 5/14: 5555 5/13: 5228 5/12: 6126 5/11: 6069 5/10: 7076 5/9: 6606 5/8: 7202

>>292889 Well, if there was an API it'd make it easier to automate the process. In the meanwhile, you can use this piece of logic Math.max(0, ...[...document.querySelectorAll([ '8chan|.linkQuote', 'holotower|.post_no:not([id])', '4chan|[title="Reply to this post"]'] .find(x => document.URL.includes(x.split('|')[0])).split('|')[1])] .map(e => Number(e.textContent))); Works for 4chan, 8chan and Tower. Go to the index page of the board (not catalog!) open the console (F12, choose the console tab) copypaste the code press enter. It will spit out the greatest post number it find on the page which should always be the latest un-deleted post on the board. Will probably save you like 2 deconds of your time per day.
>>296749 If I could call that automatically, I'd use it to create PPH and PPD tables for tower and /vyt/. But for now I'll stick to going to /pcg/, checking the post closest to 00:00 UTC, and calling that the milestone. I may start doing the same with /hlgg/ eventually.
>>298201 just ask an llm to make it a bookmarklet that refreshes to midnight first and logs it to console javascript:(function(){ const now = new Date(); const nextDay = new Date(now.getFullYear(), now.getMonth(), now.getDate() + 1); const msUntilMidnight = nextDay - now; setTimeout(function() { window.location.reload(); console.log(Math.max(0, ...[...document.querySelectorAll([ '8chan|.linkQuote', 'holotower|.post_no:not([id])', '4chan|[title="Reply to this post"]'] .find(x => document.URL.includes(x.split('|')[0])).split('|')[1])] .map(e => Number(e.textContent))) )); }, msUntilMidnight); })(); looks about right to me open tab wherever -> click bookmarklet -> check console next day at your convenience, click it again
>>298350 Thanks anon. I'll get something like this set up when I have some time off. I'd like to have it totally automated so it can do PPH without me having to manually click it but PPD is simpler and gives you most of the information.
>>298507 just plug that in and ask it to refresh every hour instead and maybe save it to a file
/vt/ saw a decent rise yesterday, up from 33425 to 37329 PPD. Despite an hourly low average PPM of 11.68, traffic was strong going into the evening culminating in an hourly average PPM of 42.22, the highest since last Saturday.
>>294623 /vyt/'s number of users is up slightly today, in fact it is the most users we've had in a few days. Today /vyt/ had 635 users, up from 614 yesterday. The number of users for the last 5 days are 635, 614, 626, 634, and 678. Site PPH has a weird looking graph today. Typically it starts high, falls in the middle, then goes back up towards the end. Today there is a big spike in the middle of the graph. The PPH high is 1454, up from 1284 yesterday. PPH low is around 442, down slightly from around 464 yesterday.
>>300852 /vyt/'s PPD today was 5529, -540 from Sunday last week. That's actually the lowest since last Tuesday. I'm pretty sure that despite being 3rd in users, /vyt/ is actually second in PPD, only behind /gacha/. /v/ is actually 3rd in PPD, and its user statistics are messed up because of a spambot.
>>298507 >>298616 I can code up a server app that polls the chans with whatever reasonable frequency (say, once per minute to once per day) and saves a small bit of data to a small database. The problem is my PC isn't running 24/7 and I don't know a good free hosting that wouldn't spin your service down after hitting some monthly active time allotment. Traffic-wise, it's gonna be something like 150 MB/month, so not a big deal. Storage can be offloaded once in a few months or the data could be sent to the local machine to be collected later. It's the spinning down that's the problem.
>>301015 >150 MB/month Wrong calculation. It should be 2 GB/month but it's still well below the traffic limit any free service would provide.
>ids change every few hours now The one thing this site had going for it is now gone.
>>301015 >>301052 What exactly do you need? My understanding is that AWS lets you run free virtual machines with storage for a year, though it gets pretty expensive after that free year expires. Assuming that's correct, you could do that, and if people are still interested in the project after a year we could look into finding another host/paying ridiculous cloud fees/using an old laptop running 24/7 as a server.
>>303137 e49c20 is (me) I think I found a hosting that should work. >after that free year expires I wanna make it as much deploy and forget as possible. Data of this type is pretty worthless on the short run but it becomes a very interesting piece of history and a source for insight. I'm probably gonna be busy enough to not want to code recreationally until the weekend.
Now that IDs are worthless do you think this board will start losing users faster? We've lost 50% of the users since 4chan came back, and all the people that hated IDs would have been the first to leave. A lot of people who chose to stay did so in part because IDs deterred shitposters. With that gone how many people will just go elsewhere now?
>>303259 It's kind of annoying, especially ITT this thread where all it does it make communication more difficult, but I don't think it'll make a big difference. Still rather they went back to the old system though, feels like a compromise that pleases no one.
>>303246 Cool. I can probably manually get PPD for both here and tower pretty easily in the interim, I've already started the former and I'll start doing the latter tonight.
>>303259 >IDs are worthless idgi worksforme that math does not though
>>303259 Phone posting so (1). 12 hour reset is kind of meh, but schizos usually post in short bursts. IDs will either still help with identifying them. It just adds a “skill-floor”.
>>303259 Did something happen to the IDs? I've been away for a minute but think I'm going to leave 4/#/ until the Gura posting dies down in 5 in years. Feels like /#/ is over ever since the hack, honestly.

>>303601 Every 12 hours. >>303617 Some in the meta thread were complaining that in smaller slower generals they could go a week with the same ID and that they didn't like that.
>>303617 Before 4chan came back a ton of shitposters were seething about IDs in the meta thread, so jannies decided to give in and make them rotate. Somebody mentioned there was a tower archive? Where is it? I can't easily go back more than two days to manually count posts. Anyway, here are tower's PPD for the last couple days. 5/18: 18133 5/17: 16499 If you combine 4chan + 8moe + tower numbers, 5/18 had a total of 59151 PPD. Not a great day, but comparable to pre-hack levels. The decline is mostly due to posters leaving for other boards, about 3/4 for tower, 1/4 for 8moe.
>>304552 https://archive.holotower.org/ This one? I can't find a link to it on tower itself but someone with better eyes may know where. I grabbed it from the feedback thread

/vt/ was down a bit yesterday, from 37329 to 35489 PPD. Overall not much of a change. Today is likely to be a monster though, despite a minimum of 12.31 they've been sitting pretty above 30 PPM for hours. This new Saba character is making waves.

>>300852 /vyt/ has had an increase in users two days in a row now. Today /vyt/ had 678 users, up from 635 yesterday. Also /v/ fell below /gacha/ today. An for a little check-in with the other vtuber related boards, /2434/ is pretty consistently in the top 10 boards now that it is visible on the list again. /vt/ is pretty much dead with 2 users and from a quick look only a couple posts in the last few days. /baubau/ is also pretty dead with it typically having 2 users, but those 2 dudes can be pretty active making between 20-50 posts during a FuwaMoco stream. Sitewide PPH is interesting today. There was a large amount of activity at the start of the day, but the graph looks similar to normal graphs. This isn't like yesterday with a weird spike in the middle of the graph. Today's PPH high was 1678, up from 1454 yesterday. The PPH low is around 459, up slightly from around 442 yesterday. The low has been in this range for the last few days now, while the high has been rising quite a bit.
>>306454 .se coming back up has probably helped the last couple of days
>>306454 /vyt/'s increased users was also reflected in its PPD, which reached 6485 today, the highest level since May 10 and +359 over last Monday. I'm not sure what to make of it. Increased traffic on /vt/ is attributable to Gura teasing a redebut, but that hasn't really been discussed much here. It's possible that the decline has finally stabilized, nearly a month out from 4chan's return.

Yesterday was /vt/'s best day in a long time, up from 35489 to 41939 PPD. This is the highest level it's reached since 3 May, over two weeks, though still well below the pre-hack average. Despite the incommensurate datasets, total /vt/+/vyt/+tower PPD was 63890 for 5/19. This is around where /vt/ was pre-hack. The missing posts are on other websites, and to some extent the alts are generating new posts of their own. Things seem to have settled down for now, perhaps we are entering a new normal.

>>318912 >In reality, about 30% of EC sales are overseas, and another 30 to half of those sales are in North America. Therefore, we guess that 10 to 15% of EC sales could be strongly affected by the tariffs. Therefore, we believe that measures should be taken both economically and in terms of providing services to our fans From what I understand, "EC" stands for E-Commerce? So online sales in this case? The "at-risk" revenue segments in this case would be Merch/Licensing/Concerts/Events then? Given there's physical retail, it's more like 8-13% maybe? This is, of course, ignoring the knock-on effects tariffs have.

We believe that this is an area that has great potential for us to work on now, given its current popularity overseas. /vyt/ and tower PPD for 5/22 /vyt/: 5718 PPD +7% DoD +0% WoW tower: 12692 PPD -14% DoD -13% WoW /vyt/ had unremarkable numbers, it seems to get lower traffic mid-week and pick up as the week goes on. Tower had its slowest day post-hack by a significant margin. Interesting enough, /vyt/ had 45% as many posts as tower today, perhaps its best margin so far, (I haven't compared very early days), it's usually closer to 1/4-1/3 of tower's posts.
>>317227 /vyt/'s users are up slightly today, but again still in the same mid-600s we've been in for a bit now. Today /vyt/ had 656 users, up from 637 yesterday. Sitewide PPH high and low are also pretty close to yesterday. Today's PPH high is 1356, up from 1305 yesterday. The PPH low is around 410, up from around 403 yesterday. Overall a pretty stable day. The only thing of note is that /gacha/ overtook /v/ again, probably because the spam bots weren't flooding /v/.
/vt/ had another down day yesterday, from 39237 to 36063 PPD. Today is likely to be down as well unless there's a late surge in traffic combined with elevated dead hours.
>>322811 I'll be honest, never in a million years did I think /vyt/ and tower would take such a massive chunk of /vt/'s users. I figured everything would go right back to where it was after a few days of 4chan being back. I wonder if any other boards got hit as hard as /vt/ did.
>>322826 None to the same degree. /pol/ is down, and I've heard rumors they're back on 8watkins, though I never checked myself, and it's possible it's entirely a result of the new captchas. /v/ is basically back to where it was, no one wants to deal with 8/v/'s BO. /vg/ has lost a decent chunk to /gacha/, but most generals stayed. Meanwhile /vt/ has lost something like a third of its users to alts.
>>322902 a lot of minor boards seem like they're still -10% give or take, but it's been a slow slide for years at this point, so it's not surprising a downtime would exacerbate it >polbots and captchas I thought the same, but it doesn't take that much to get to easier captchas than the old ones were and the solvers I have still work on those, plus you'd think it wouldn't take more than a few days to rebuild a cookie base for the bots I think it's more a combination of nothing ever happens + not an election year + dispersal in general people decry pol and the pol tourists, but I wouldn't be surprised if pol was also a second class concern for a lot of people that got dropped in the shuffle >>322826 idk; this was not my first rodeo, but nothing in the past was ever really comparable to just how persistently garbage and anti-user halfchan has been over the last decade, which is so incredibly stupid when the rest of the internet has only grown increasingly hostile/restricted/sanitized/boring/slopped/etc
>>323154 and not to diverge too much but another aspect to pol might be the chickens of the US admin coming home to roost it's one thing to shitpost about what might happen, what doesn't happen, or argue about what could happen; it's another when the current US admin seems pretty dedicated to running shit in the ground for as many 4chan posters as possible it might be pretty disheartening if a notable chunk of them are facing the downsides with fuck all to show for it

>>324537 it might also help that like 90% of /vt/ are the newest of newfags on the newest of newfag boards they're not as institutionalized yet and were only there because there was no better option
>>323825 Without hour-by-hour data to see exactly where posts are being lost it's impossible to say, but simply from using tower and /vyt/, my instinct is that yes, their traffic is much more stream-driven. Neither board has a catalog to speak of, and users are much more well-behaved and on-topic, so if nothing's going on they're pretty dead.

Unusual, because Fridays have usually been good for /vyt/. Tower, somehow, also had its second-slowest day post-hack, after yesterday, though by a more comfortable margin and more in line with weekly trends.
/vt/ was down again yesterday, from 36063 to 33830 PPD. Lowest day since last Friday, but not big change either from the day before or overall. Today looks like it'll be up a bit, though not massively unless there's a big surge late in the evening.

Love and cherish /#/ poster.
so you get banned if you call phase "phasecucks" in 4/#/ I see that's where the jannies draw the line
>>330659 Cuckposting is against the rules here, too. It's a good thing, provided it doesn't apply only to one corpo, but kinda futile since all the good posters left 4 for 8.
>>331050 "Cuckposting" here means saying your oshi is cucking you, I assume you could call someone a phasecuck if you wanted. There's no tribal wars though so it never comes up.
>>330659 Replacing the term "faggot", "Nigger", and "Kike" with "cuck" was a social engineering campaign that won a victory so hard no one was aware there was even a war. I used to lurk revleft and they would talk about "depowering" those words and replacing them with a word that was derogatory towards men, especially white men, thus the usage of cuck exploded. I honestly did not think they'd succeed, but revleft has died and their psyop lived on. "cuck" has found "mainstream" appeal as an insult whereas nigger, faggot and kike simply cannot. Chan culture needs to move away from "cuck" as an insult and return to our roots.
>>331147 I will say cuck is a bit appropriate in vtubing sphere but otherwise its rise to prevalence has been incredibly stupid, and that's before you made your psyop point about it being derogatory towards men.
>>331502 It's not that deep. Cuck replaced simp because simp triggers an auto ban on twitch. Every other word is already derogatory towards women. Simp and cuck are both inherently derogatory towards women because they presuppose the vtuber in question is incapable of having a heartfelt connection with the male audience member. In terms of Phase, one of the girls literally did an ntr roleplay stream that she took down after being harassed, but of course it makes sense that the garbage jannies are only just now deleting cuck posts months after those guys have already left.
>>332031 > one of the girls literally did an ntr roleplay stream The fact she even considered this, let alone went though with it. Is horrific.
>>332744 She's Japanese. Over there it's just a normal thing and nothing outrageous, and chat being a dumbass did push her towarss that ending. /vt/ was almost unchanged in traffic yesterday, down from 33830 to 33680 PPD. Tower recovered from some lackluster traffic over the last couple days, and was mostly in line with last week.
>>334008 Users are up a bit today after a pretty bad showing yesterday. Today /vyt/ had 620 users, up from 602. As for the sitewide PPH, the high is up and the low is down. The PPH high today is 1365, up from 1309 yesterday. The PPH low is around 376, down from around 427 yesterday.
/vt/, despite a huge surge for Rissa's concert, was barely up yesterday, from 33680 to 34362 PPD. Today doesn't look much better. This could be a really rough week for /vt/ and possibly vtuber imageboards as a whole, given some ominous signs from both tower (record low PPD) and /vyt/ (record low users).
>>340557 Con season has officially begun, as I've alluded to earlier. Anons have been posting about their meet and greets. The drop in pph can actually be felt now, partly because of posters being offline and partly because of the lack of streams due to said con appearances by the talents.

>>369671 >all it took was a tiny, insignificant amount really, of moderation and interaction with the userbase to take a chunk out of 4chan >Those who went back are likely people who old 4chan would have hated a decade ago and/or zoomers who have ADHA and can't deal with a site that has less than 50k hour
>>367826 >newfag board >newfags run to the reddit hugbox at the first convenient oppurtunity This isn't surprising to anyone. 8chan might actually have some minor staying power long term but Tower will legitimately destroy itself. I don't know how you ever attract new users when you block people from even viewing your site via VPN not to mention getting so assmad over shit posters that you link everyone to their post history and hashed IP. You can already see people trying to avatarfag in the global threads which is like the mark of Cain on every altchan.
>>368862 Also forgot to include in the last post but 8chan as a name is literal poison. No sane vtuber would ever mention it considering every search result pulls up 8kun mass murder manifestos. >oh no chat I meant the other 8chan, not the much more well known extremist one

>>369975 Apparently Pippa mentioned it, which is presumably why the Phase threads are here. But yeah, vtubers are loathe to even mention /vt/, let alone a website that's associated with Christchurch and QAnon in the public consciousness.
>>369972 >reddit hugbox Uh oh, one of /vt/'s seaniggers found his way here.
/vyt/ and tower PPD for 5/31 (UTC). /vyt/: 6021 PPD +15% DoD -3% WoW tower: 14947 PPD +4% DoD -0% WoW Pretty uneventful, standard Saturdays. /vyt/ was notable in being up over a slow Friday but besides that everything's in line with last week.
>>367197 Users are down today slightly. Today /vyt/ had 597 users, down from 629 yesterday. /vyt/'s users for the last 5 days has been 597, 629, 583, 635, and 598. Site wide PPH high is up, and the PPH low is so close I can't really tell. Today's PPH high is 1204, up from 1158. The PPH low is around 444, down slightly from around 455 yesterday. The way it reads on the graph though today's low could actually be higher than yesterday's.
>>370359 They don't blend in very well
/vt/ was up yesterday, 31808 to 34598 PPD. Nothing special, but it was the fastest day in over a week. Assuming this is calculated based on UTC+0, today is likely to rise further as that will capture some very busy NA primetime hours, but it's unlikely to be a massive shift.
I think 4/#/ is 4 people right now. 2 shitposters, 2 people lamenting the state of /#/. Shit kinda sucks.
>>374642 Coming here probably isn't much of an alternative either given how slow it it
>>370359 I'm curious what else you would call it then when trying to make a /#/ gets you instantly banned. Tower is closer to r/Hololive than it is to either of the chans.
>/#/ gets you instantly banned Sensible since its been reduced to a seething drama thread most of the time and the mod team is not big enough to babysit the thread. Given the fact the /hlg/ exists there, I wouldn't call it a hugbox. Also:
>>375076 I don't care to hate on tower or care if they allow /#/ but this is a bit of a cop-out. This board is also anti-shitposting and has a small team and handled the thread fine back when it was active. And if somehow it was a problem on tower, they can always hire more mods, there are probably dozens of autists that would instantly delete drama and bait. The reality is that they don't allow the thread because they hate numberfagging and are traumatized by 4/#/ to the point they'll allow the possibility of someone responding to a holomen's CCV with "grim" ever again.
/vyt/ and tower PPD for 6/1 (UTC): /vyt/: 5844 PPD -3% DoD -9% WoW tower: 15787 PPD +5% DoD -7% WoW -41% MoM Today was a lot more subdued in activity than last Sunday, things are slowing down across all three boards. This'll the first post-hack Sunday where /vyt/ posts fell below 6k. Right now I only have MoM estimates for tower, I only collected /vyt/'s PPD back to 5/8 because it's far easier to do with tower's archives, and board changes have removed my preferred manual method (checking posts in /pcg/, the most popular thread). There's obviously been a dramatic decline, again across all three boards. By comparison /vt/'s MoM decline 4/30 to 5/31 was -31%.
>>373378 /vyt/ had a slight dip in users today reaching 587, down from 597 yesterday. Users are down across the board today though with /v/ being under 900 and /gacha/ under 800. As for the other vtuber boards, /2434/ has gone down to 32 users and has been out of the top 10 for a few days now. /baubau/ is at 3, which is normal for them, and somehow they get like 50 posts during streams. /vt/ is completely dead with 0 users and it's most recent post being on May 28th. The sitewide PPH is pretty standard with the only interesting thing being we hit the PPH high towards the end of the day when typically it happens at the start. Today's PPH high is 1170, down from 1204. The PPH low is around 356, down from around 444 yesterday.
/vt/ was down slightly yesterday, from 34598 to 33700 PPD. This marks the 10th consecutive gay where PPD was within a ~2k range. I'm not sure if there's ever been a stretch of stability like that, and certainly none recently. I'll do a full /vt/ recap tomorrow when we get 6/1 numbers for /vt/ from 4stats.

/vyt/ and tower PPD for 6/2 (UTC): /vyt/: 4629 PPD -21% DoD -13% WoW tower: 12445 PPD -22% DoD -4% WoW -44% MoM Both sites had their slowest day post-hack, though /vyt/ by a greater significant margin. Tower was only -2% from its previous record low, whereas /vyt/ was -7%.
>>379127 /vyt/ is down again today, but not as bad as I'd think consdering moe hasn't been working for me most of the day. Today /vyt/ had 578 users, down from 587 yesterday. The sitewide PPH high has gone down a bit again today, but the low is up slightly. Today's PPH high was 1010, down from 1170. The PPH low was around 370, up from around 356. Since the lows aren't exact numbers they could be closer. It will be interesting to see what tomorrow looks like if moe continues to have down time. I wonder how many people know about se by now.
>>370280 Wonder if the shirt would look better on cyan an white
/vt/ was up yesterday, from 33700 to 35327 PPD. Nothing special but the fastest day since 5/21. Estimated PPD for today is 33933, down again. Overall, /vyt/ is down dramatically. For years it's been the 4th-fastest board on 4chan, sometimes flirting with eclipsing /v/. Now, it's slower than /b/ (first time since 2022) and /int/ (first time since 2021). Its average sits around or slightly above the level immediately after its creation in 2021. Quite a few days it's been close to /a/, and though it hasn't lost to them yet, it's inevitable just due to random noise, and could easily overtake /vt/ is the decline continues. There's only been one day so far where /tv/ was close, and it'll take a massive /vt/ decline it to overtake the board, and so far /trash/ remains comfortable behind. Overall, /vt/ was down -25% May 1 to June 1. It's close to down -50% compared to its pre-hack average.

>>383981 /vt/ just either had janitors return or had one or two new ones moved onto it they've been banning and deleting so much that the peak for 6/2 probably dropped. these niggers are extra unpredictable too I'm actually absolutely sure there was just a mod who didn't give a shit about the board handling everything up until now
>>385589 also by unpredictable, they went through the archives and banned people for off-topic or trolling up to 8 hours back on their first day there and also obliterated a thread for shittalking kiki
Decided to stop by here to see if anyone was still here. Glad to see there's at least one or two number posters tracking /vt/ site stats
https://youtube.com/@mitsurugilia How does she have over 120k subs when the rest of the group has less than 10% of that? Half of them aren't even at 5k. Her current stream only had 60 ccv when I checked.
>>386544 >910inc Yeah, pretty suspicious.
>>385589 Shit man, guess they saw the declining board stats and are trying to hot fix as to not lose any more people. This new janny has not problem nuking folks if my archive reps are any indication. Random deletes everywhere
>>387006 I think the damage is already done. A ~50% drop off is huge and now that people know better alternatives exists I don't think they're gonna recover no matter how much they emergency fix.
>>387128 Oh that I agree
>>387006 That is a severe misunderstanding of what the mods give a shit about, they don't like doing work in the first place. There was porn/things laying around going unreported which resulted in this current extra bad janitor skimming threads/archives without warning. As is, If they wanted numbers they can just open the floodgates to a eceleb/streamer board for maximum AIDs, instead of just stop at the vtuber segment.
They added monthly audience numbers to the listener badges on YouTube/YT Music
>>387898 actually looks like it's been around since April and you get exact numbers if it's less than a million
>>387898 Oof, I guess those 25 minute commutes hasn't been enough to get any badges.
/vyt/ and tower PPD for 6/2 (UTC). /vyt/: 4912 PPD +6% DoD -9% WoW tower: 11407 PPD -9% DoD -12% WoW -50% MoM /vyt/ and tower were both quite slow today. /vyt/ had its second-slowest day post-hack, while tower had its slowest. Estimated PPD for /vt/ is 30630, which would make it the second-slowest day.
>>383652 Users are up for all of the top 3 boards today. /vyt/ had 620 users, up from 578 yesterday. The sitewide PPH high and low are both up today, but only slightly. The PPH high today is 1074, up from 1010 yesterday. The PPH low is around 428, up from around 370 yesterday. Moe didn't seem to have any issues today, at least for me, and the down time yesterday didn't have mych impact on it's overall numbers. It seems like the people still here know to switch from moe to se or se to moe if one is down. Which is good news for the site because it means the people left are learning to deal with the issues the site has and not just running somewhere else if the site has issues.
/vt/ was down yesterday, from 35327 to 32215 PPD. Despite decent highs and impressive lows, it was still one of the slowest days on /vt/ post-hack. Today is likely to be lower, with a record low PPM averaged over an hour of 9.36 and lackluster performance both over the previous primetime and today's afternoon. Things are heating up for tonight's primetime though, so perhaps tomorrow will be up.
>got a youtube warning about using adblock >getting black screened again Is this happening to anyone else? Makes me wonder if it's going to fuck with how they count CCVs too.
>>385589 As someone who checks /deleted on palanq for laughs they do that in spurts so don't count on it being normal
>>389042 You using ublock origins? I turned it off then on again, refreshed youtube and its working fine again.
>>389173 Yeah but still not working. It's account specific for some reason since switching accounts even with ublock origins on is fine.
>>389184 Huh weird since I didn't change accounts and it disappeared to me when that happened yesterday. It happened when I ended up copying a youtube link I got while watching some stuff in incognito mode. I wonder if perhaps my other extension "disable automatic tab discarding" has an effect on it as yesterday I was actually able to also still watch youtube in another tab I had left open while the new tab I opened stopped me from watching anything.
>>389184 Oh also let me clarify a bit more, it was ublock origins lite that's left active on youtube, my other adblocks either disabled by chrome or paused on youtube.
>>389053 I also watch the deleted posts on the archives, the faggot on 6/2 was angry or vengeful enough to go back several old archived threads and also get me for talking about fucking a holo.

>>388498 To get a badge for music holomems like AZKi, Suisei, Watame, or Kanata you probably have to listen to their songs all day every day. My number of AZKi listens is pretty much the same as Sora's at approx 140 listens/month (4-5% of my listens) and I've never gotten one for AZKi. Picrel is my last year cumulative numbers tracked on Listenbrainz. I think Watame's numbers are under represented by about 700 since a lot of her scrobbles are unlinked.
>>391635 also for the record I listened to Sora about 400 times to get badge for May
>>389184 youtube's always like that they do slow rollouts which means it takes the filterlists a little longer to target it and update sometimes your list cache is just behind, though, and you can force it from the ublock list settings
/vyt/ and tower PPD for 6/4 (UTC). /vyt/: 4836 PPD -2% DoD -20% WoW tower: 11068 PPD -3% DoD -26% WoW Another slow day across all boards. This was the second-slowest day post-hack for /vyt/, and the slowest for tower. Estimated PPD for /vt/ is 30012, which would make it the slowest day post-hack.
>>388635 Today /vyt/ had 571 users, down from 620 yesterday. The sitewide PPH high today was 1213, up from 1074 yesterday. The PPH low was around 433, from from around 428 yesterday. Also is somebody baking a new thread?
>>391635 >>391644 Okay, thanks. Commute and large variation of artists dooms me. Oh well~
/vt/ was down yesterday, from 32215 to 30267 PPD. This is the second-lowest total for /vt/ post-hack, and perilously close to falling below 30k. I still haven't quite figured out how 4stats calculates things, but today may fall further or even breach the barrier. >>393479 Since we're the two most active users I'd prefer someone else do it, but assuming it dies soon and no one bakes, I'll do it. I'd prefer to respect tradition and let it die before doing so.
