Nobody mentioned laziness as a motivation, there was "if people are streaming the same content at the same time then that's a deeply rooted sign of poor imagination on their part or lack of original ideas. Fuck AAA FOTM video games." The board has frequently talked about wanting more variety in content in video games, TRPG, group projects, chatting only streams, etc. None of which are necessarily stuff that requires waiting to be released or being paid for. This isn't a new convo here. JP projects if they're formalized and having things like prizes or a lot of offloaded organizing do take many months, this isn't news to anyone who has followed them. And the casual ones can be stuff like "guess who is the karaoke werewolf" which takes literally no management processing. Watch some Iinchou and SEEDS or literally any VTA stuff, at least before this recent girl band group. It's not that hard.
Why would they speedrun EN 3D debuts over JP ones when most (certainly early on) don't live in Japan, and don't go to visit outside of debuts and concerts. Again, early JP debuts had 3D often after years.
They had subbed official clips for JP, a whole boatload of them. That's literally what the Nijisanji EN official channel used to be made up of. You even had management co-arranging Deron showing up in a VShojo collab along with Kizuna AI/Siro/Haneru to raise awareness among the English audience. Again, you don't know anything about JP, and it's not actually endearing saying that livers who were joining didn't even bother to do a basic look at the terrible English VTubing wiki or watch some clips, truly the bare minimum if you're interested in the company beyond a "I didn't get in to Hololive EN/wanted that Luxiem money."
