Sonic Rumble Anonymous 04/17/2025 (Thu) 01:41:53 No. 26784
Sega just announced it's new release date, May 8th Oh shit, it's rumblin time boys. Who's ready for them to push the release date back another 3 months a week before this release cause Sega has no confidence or vision for anything they do anymore?
>>39692 I could see that announcement being made in a Sonic Central. Maybe even the release proper >>39698 I think the "pre-release" was getting some new content just a few days ago
Did Sega forget they haven't released the game yet? This seemed promising when it was announced and yet now all interest in it is completely gone due to all the sudden delays.
>>40791 True...
What the fuck is going on?
>>41481 I looked up the game page real fast. This was posted 6 days ago. >Many of you have been wondering why the game hasn’t been released globally yet, even though it may seem ready. We’re very close and determined to fine-tune Sonic Rumble to ensure the best possible experience once we launch on a global scale. There’s still so much exciting content in the works that we haven’t revealed yet. From new characters, challenging stages, exciting features, to the most amazing crossover events, the team is building even more ways to keep the action fresh and fun. >A big focus right now is making sure the experience is even better for new players who haven’t had the chance to play yet, so some of these changes might not be as visible to those who tried the game in its early stages. We feel a special responsibility to get this right for the entire Sonic community and to deliver a competitive, party multiplayer experience that keeps everyone, new and returning players alike, happy and engaged. >The team is making incredible progress toward Global Launch in 2025, and we can’t wait to show you everything we’ve been building. We are more excited than ever to welcome you all into the game later this year. Thank you for sticking with us on this journey. Your support keeps us moving full speed ahead. >- The Sonic Rumble Team I wish we had some sort of economy here, cause I would bet it all this shit ain't releasing in 2025.
This is never coming out, isn't it? I've heard nothing about it in months and it's been delayed by over a year with no release date on the horizon.
>>42548 Seems like it lol
Where the FUCK IS IT?
(79.42 KB 1022x234 the ride comes to a close.jpg)

>>43101 Cancelled, lock the thread.
(66.00 KB 620x588 1733152932857341.png)

This shit better release this time or I'm gonna be so fucking mad
ONE DAY LEFT, NO DELAY ANNOUNCEMENTS HOLY FUCK IT MIGHT ACTUALLY BE RELEASED! WE MIGHT MAKE IT BROS!
>>43237 Wasn't the last delay given on the day it was meant to release?
(171.33 KB 558x951 1503546204018.png)

>>43242 I can download the game, if it gets delayed again, the wrath will be so severe that fans will just crack the and run their own servers out of spite.
>>43252 Do you really think fans are so hyped for it?
>>43253 spite, not hype, different emotion entirely, different motivator.
>>43254 I can't summon spite for something I don't care about.
Yeah nevermind, I can't even try this. The "anticheat" malware it installed alongside the game claims I'm running a "disruptive" and "unnecessary" program and won't let me play. I tried closing everything I can and it still doesn't work. Now I need to follow a bunch of long tutorials on how to uninstall this garbage
The anticheat in Sonic Rumble runs automatically every time you turn on the computer, even if it might not show up in the task manager. If you want to uninstall (fully, hopefully) Sonic Rumble and its anticheat on Windows, follow this guide. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3505252946 Just replace the name of that game, "ChronoOdyssey", with Sonic Rumble, the rest of the instructions work
I'm making a Rumble guild, what can I call it without getting banned? Taking suggestions.
>>43285 /sthg/ cult
>>43285 >>43287 Someone else made one and i deleted mine so i could join and now they're offline. I'm fucking stupid.
Play against me, pls RedialDC
>>43289 I would have, but the game didn't work and I gave up on getting it to work. Now I just hate it
Is this really up now? I'll try joining over the weekend if I get done with all my work.
>>43290 I read the previous posts anon, I know. I'm sorry that happened, :(
>>43289 F0B5672A23D937C7328581CA32C5AA29E Oops, you need an ID code, my mistake.

>>43282 All that wait for nothing. >The "anticheat" malware it installed alongside the game claims I'm running a "disruptive" and "unnecessary" program and won't let me play kek

>>43282 >>43283 Seems they got rid of it, lol
>>43306 I wasn't expecting that, given I didn't see that many people complain about it. Well I'll give it another shot tomorrow then
I reinstalled it. It still ran Wellbia, and it still gave me the same error. The Steam page says it a different anticheat program now, but it isn't true, at least not with what Steam downloaded for me. Everything regarding this game's launch is a complete mess
https://nitter.poast.org/AdventurerAlm/status/1986556228026155056 https://nitter.poast.org/MiiDolphinSR/status/1986515671325319483 https://nitter.poast.org/Jesus_97_MC/status/1986476409771205052 https://nitter.poast.org/bluwolfblitz/status/1986471512673563090 Oh, so they just lied. The intrusive anticheat I had the other day was already the "less intrusive" one. And I think the game doesn't run because the anticheat doesn't like a controller driver I installed
>>43310 >The intrusive anticheat I had the other day was already the "less intrusive" one Oh well, I didn't see that coming, lol. >And I think the game doesn't run because the anticheat doesn't like a controller driver I installed It's possible, these kernel level anti cheats need to sanitize any entry points to the kernel level because otherwise the whole thing is moot, and a very common way to get ring0 privileges is to use vulnerable drivers. See if there's an updated one available.
So what's the verdict on Rumble? Is it worth playing or is it too pay-to-win to be good?
>>43530 I don't find it too pay-to-win. Most people are arguing that the paid bonuses give paypigs access to high teir abilities faster, but I rarely see them tip the game's balance. There might be a rank system I'm not seeing though. I can consistently place in the top 3 unless I'm playing with the /sthg/ crew. Where i place like 8th at most. The game's speed is getting to me though. It's basically Fallguys, which is ok i guess, but I think every character should move like twice as fast by default. The visual style of the game kinda blows too. Again it looks like they wear Fallguys inspiration too blatantly. Every character's barrel chested and slightly more midgety than usual. They excuse it by writing the characters as 'toys' Eggman amd Sonic are playing with. But I'd prefer if they just kept Sonic's style Sonic's style.
>>43530 I'm having fun for sure and I hope I will continue to do so for much longer. I think most of the complaining is blown out of proportion, but it is partially pay to win, but not because of skins, they don't really matter. Skill system is way more of an issue than the skins which only matter for leaderboards which are for rewards which include skill points and some red rings, but the skills aren't a complete make or break either. It's complicated, but pay to get stronger faster sure applies, and most people would say that's pay to win. Probably I would too, if that wasn't a Sonic game.
