That's retarded, but I hope it will make artists aware that they can be replaced. The signs were there years ago for those paying attention and those whose only income is art should look into securing a secondary source of income. This doesn't affect many people yet, but AI is a massive can of worms that almost nobody pays enough attention to. In maybe 30 years, many professions will see competent AIs that can be replicated indefinitely. The industrial revolution caused a massive shift in the structure of society and in the nature of work. Is there a reason to believe the spread of AI wouldn't do the same? At least tens of millions of people will either be replaced or have the threat of a cheap alternative hanging over them. That doesn't seem like much compared to the total world population, but in developed countries the figures could be more than 10% of the population. And that's just talking about AI for professional use. I didn't even mention the issues of AI used in information warfare, of making computerized mass surveillance several dimensions more capable, of falsified datasets based on premade conclusions and of the inherently centralizing nature of AI.

Any of you homosexicles try out bing create yet? I managed to get it to generate a lot of kinky stuff with some of it being near flawless, it still generates a lot of cursed anatomy though and their ultra strict two tiered filtering of prompts and then finished images is a real buzzkill.
