The artstyle's a big red flag too, the only Calarts show I really liked was Mao Mao new season never ever, and the only one I somewhat liked was the first season of Infinity Train. If you're looking for good western animation, I'd highly recommend Swat Kats. TaleSpin is also decent if you can look past the occasionally heavy handed writing or if you want something newer the aforementioned Mao Mao or Villainous. If you're looking for something lighthearted and highly episodic, like Kiff seems to be, take a look at the series Dofus: Treasures of Kerubim. There's also a Dofus movie I'd recommend watching afterwards, with a more serious tone and beautiful animation.
