Catching up with the Gundam franchise and slogging through G now. Just finished the Shinjuku arc, hopefully it stays this good since the earlier episodes weren't particularly great. I expected the animation quality to be better, for some reason. Sidenote a very comfy show to do treadmill reps on, impossible not to break into a sprint when the main theme starts playing.

Allenby is so fucking cool

Holy fucking kino. Surprisingly great choreography in that short fight sequence, rare to see movements make sense this much. What a great episode. I feel like the story was made up as the show went along though, it's pretty weird. Thankfully the enitre atmosphere of it makes me not give a shit about realism or things making sense even if I normally bitch about these things. The wonders of good directing
