That said, Takumi and Souji are the exceptions to the rule. Otherwise, most of the early heisei MCs fall well into the 'pretty boy' archetype: Godai (so pretty housewives were watching the show for him), Tsugami, Shinji, Tsukasa, Wataru and Kenzaki are not exactly 'chad material' at least in the typical sense.
