>>5617 DOUBTERS???
>>5624 I never doubted I just wondered if they would release a spinoff manga first since its much less effort
>>5617 This week has been a real treat.
>>5637 Hulu (which apparently DOES have the JL movie part 1 at least) started streaming RWBY again, it got international digital releases and V10 confirmed. Yeah, pretty good time for RWBY. That said, apparently, today is also the anniversary of the 1st episode of RWBY? Thats pretty wild
>>5639 >today is also the anniversary of the 1st episode of RWBY <shown at RTX July 5, 2013 <12 years ago Holy cow time has flown. RWBY is reviving again. I wonder if 4/co/ is gonna open up for RWBYG or not again.
>>5640 There is already a sneaky RWBY thread on /co/ but maybe
>>5643 >check the thread >half of it is JL discussion LOL.
I still wonder if Miles will be returning as a writer All the other previous writers have confirmed, Miles is the only one who hasn't
>>5829 I think it's because he has other writing responsibilities right now, like for the new Borderland's game.
I'm more curious if the Texas floods will delay V10, it was a pretty damaging flood.
V10 outfits are gonna be Hijabs and Yang and Blake are going to be stoned by Vacuans.
>>5878 That or belly-dancer outfits. As funny as hijabs would be, the latter would be more fun.
>>5867 Well, I dont think Viz has anything based in Texas so it should be fine. >>5878 lol
Viz has RWBY lined up with Bleach among other things LMAO. https://www.thathashtagshow.com/anime/viz-media-shows-off-bleach-rwby-and-more-at-anime-expo-2025/ Also in hindsight, Viz acquiring RWBY was obvious; they did publish the Official Manga before.
>>5880 >Weiss appropriating Vacuan culture Pottery
>>5624 >DOUBTERS??? in shambles.
Volume 10 Predictions - GO! >When will V10C1 come out? >What will the final plot be like? >What loose ends should be tied up? >What are the end-game ships? >How does it end? <What will happen to rwbyg? And any other questions and answers are wanted.
>>6403 >I’m really excited to share that we are super deep in early writing and planning … there’s still a long road ahead. A rather curious way to say that you have been planning and writing, and doing nothing more, for some time. I would hope that planning includes ironing out who is going to be doing the animation work, which really is the only major production hurdle. Given how long RWBY took before, I don’t see how they are going to make Volume 10 until a year after this declaration. October 2026 sounds about right for me. But a lot depends on the animation studio they hire, and the animation budget. In the long run things might be a lot more efficient than before. Contra many, I don’t think they are going to try to wrap the series up with Volume 10.
>>6624 Are you replying to the post, or to Miles lol? >Contra many, I don’t think they are going to try to wrap the series up with Volume 10. Honestly, I hope they keep going. >planning includes ironing out who is going to be doing the animation work, which really is the only major production hurdle Well that and also getting some of the VAs to stay given the company went down for a while.
How V10 will start
>>6626 I'm isolating the relevant lines from Kerry's announcement. I don't know that Miles said anything about it. I also hope that they keep going, I just think it's very likely as well. VAs really shouldn't be too much of a problem.
>>6735 I see. I've also heard rumors that they originally planned for 12 Volumes, so I really hope they push it. Would be kinda fun for it to go into the 2030s lol
>>6737 I'd be amazed if they can wrap up the series in three volumes, even. We have two relics to get through along with so many different loose ends. RWBY going into the 2030s just seems likely so long as Viz doesn't give up on it.
>>6739 With how rushed a lot of plotlines have been in the past, I'm sure 3 Volumes are enough for MKEK.
>>6739 >>6742 I've said this in a few other places but they only need two volumes to wrap things up. Whether it's in a "good" or satisfactory way is another question. >Volume 10 >More relaxed after previous few volumes >Gloss over reunions >Salem is preparing to go to Vale to find the Beacon Vault >Meanwhile Mercury, Tyrian, etc. are on a mission to find the Summer Maiden in Vacuo and acquire the Sword >Some stuff happens in the middle >Tyrian killed, Mercury killed or defected, Sword and Maiden acquired by Team RWBY >Final showdown at Beacon hinted at >Volume 11 >Basically just an action Volume, huge grand war at Beacon between Salem and all the gathered goodbyes. Maybe even including Raven, who knows >Some stuff or Deus Ex Machina happens, Salem either defeated, Cinder perhaps taking the role of final boss, Gods come back >Ruby tells the Brothers they're assholes >They agree and fuck off while also ridding Remnant of leftover Grimm >Everything ends happily ever after The details might be trouble but RWBY has always been a bit of a mess, but you genuinely do not need more than two volumes the same length as the others to actually end the show effectively. Will it tie up everything? Will everything be answered or given focus? Probably not, but that's what a epilogue movie or miniseries afterwards can be for. Or fanfiction. If they just want to at least give RWBY a conclusion, all they need is two volumes.
I wonder if the Kerry September 4th post was about V10 or the DeathBattle with Maka. Or something else more mundane and fillerish altogether?
>>7511 It's the date silksong comes out, nothing more.
>>7512 Oh... that's disappointing
>>5617 This would have been heart breaking cause we *I* wouldn't see Jaune fuck Saphron.
