Gathering just like middle school
>>2706 Why don't she just crush his melon with her thighs?
>>2718 Went back to playing Sefris. Got a couple of upgrades to the land base and recently picked up a couple of game enders for her too. Always been a favorite of mine but the deck often had trouble ending games before. Starting to fix that. Also find myself going back to Odric a lot in between games with her. I like the value he gives all the cheap mana value creatures with varied keywords.
Yooo
^ too slow for real formats
>>2718 I've worked on a handful of decks I reworked niv mizzet parun into ghyrston starn cause im gonna make that irl as my first deck and I want something traditional and simple for bracket 3 to take to a shop I have the other eshki as an aggro deck and it is I think way too fast and strong to stay at bracket 3 and ive been working on a captain america sunforger tooblox list, its pretty fun

Don't bully me, I'll cum!
Hot zombie? What is the world coming to
>>2763 they ripped jade straight from MK

>my opponent opens the game with leyline of abundance + mana dork on turn 1, then he plays the 3 mana tyvar pw, which passively gives mana dorks pseudo-haste and can mill 3 to bring back a creature with cmc 2 or less, he mills devoted druid and pic related, plays a fetch for dryad arbor, taps and untaps druid for 4, taps dryad for another 2, he now nas enough mana to harmonize for x=2, finding vizier of remedies and get infinite mana with druid, then pumping his creatures infinitely with leyline of abundance not even mad to be honest, I've been combo'ed in modern on turn 2 but seeing this in action was nuts
graveyard order should matter again
>>2641 They moved away from efficient green creatures that have an immediate impact as soon as you play them (Hydroid Krasis, Questing Beast, Uro, etc.), extremely versatile creature protection and 2-mana land dump spells (i.e., Growth Spiral) in favor of green creatures that are above the curve with utility abilities. Also doesn't help that they normalized two-mana removal with little to no restrictions, including a removal spell that turns off hexproof and ward (i.e., Nowhere to Run), along with tons of powerful cards that bounce, exile or make you sacrifice instead of directly killing the creature. Most of them don't even run Snakeskin Veil, they just run out the green creatures and hope they can either stop aggro from winning turn 2 or 3, or they hope the utility the creatures offer will be enough to overcome control.

>land denial is feefeesbad >card denial is now game changer what's going next. nonland permanent denial? library denial (mill)?
The only redeeming quality of Farewell is that it forces people to learn to keep their hand reasonably stocked. I'd rather see a Worldfire without an instant win attached to it resolve, than a Farewell. Not like it's ever not cast targeting all modes.
>>2821 6 mana sorcery is too slow, standard and modern decks win by turn 4 or 5
>>1365 >Talking about MTG Arena You are hopeless anyways.
>>1365 >>2168 >>2187 >>2227 They were going to paint themselves into that legal corner sooner or later, especially with Disney since they are notorious for being super controlling over how their IP is used, just ask Capcom and Nintendo.
Artifact creatures don't, save for Karn.
>>2763 >Fully covered head-to-toe >From a faction that was inspired by ancient Thai stuff where everybody always had their midriffs showing You get satisfied with so little, anon.

>>2856 It's true, I imagine getting hugs from cards ;_;
>>2763 Zombies have always been hot though.
>With Tarkir: Dragonstorm and Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY on the horizon, it's going to be fascinating to watch the journey of this Standard format. I'm very excited to see what players do with these cards and what new decks and strategies emerge. >The only TDM cards seeing frequent play are Cori-Steel Cutter and Tersa Lightshatter (generic red spellslinger enablers), Glacial Dragonhunt and Winternight Stories (carddraw with better flashback), and the bounce Kirin, all cards that just slot into preexisting tier 1 and 2 decks >Most of the top decks don't use any new TDM cards, despite the set being released almost two weeks ago Maybe we'll start seeing some new archetypes this weekend...
>Final Fantasy is the game's best selling set of all time and it isnt even out yet. Welp
just remember. current set is the best selling set of all time

[spoiler]I love the goofy modern settings, and the romantic secret lairs
>>3092 >>3027 Out of curiosity I watched Rudy's latest video and he was really positive about how well magic is doing. It's clear that real magic is gone, if the market wants FF and Marvel, wotc will provide. I hope they fail, I'll be in my corner creating custom cards and sets. I am thinking about dumping everything that belongs to wotc and make "compatible cards".
>>3158 two of my oldfag friends actually sold their collections to big stores recently. I was shocked a little for it coming out of nowhere but so did UB so I get it. one said they didn't enjoy the constant releases of sets to keep up with and the other disliked all the non-magic sets making the game a funko product. to me the line is not there yet but with every UB set I can't help but think they are just making more reserved list cards
>>3092 Inflation pushed prices up since the last set came out, new all time high
>>3158 well obviously magic is dead if people are going to faggot investors and scalpers to then figure out whether or not the people who treat the game as stocks are doing well the next set won't have ANY precons and it will be the first set to cause standard and modern to be FOREVER separated due to the marvel universes beyond retardation, but the jews are making more money so uhhhh yeah the game is doing good :)
>>3197 >standard and modern standard/modern for paper and online

>el ratto gf tells me I can join Okiba gang >but I'm human so the initiation will be grueling >Greasefang herself beats the shit out of me while el ratto gf frigs herself wildly >Greasefang's ugly mug spits on me, "nezumi only" >el ratto gf cries out, "let's eat him!" >she's getting the promotion while I'm being tenderized The rat girls look at you with hungry eyes, don't trust that shit yo. Posting from a pie rn
>>3212 Feline hands typed this post. Rat girls just want love.
welp shit. it was fun while it lasted I guess see ya in a couple of years
>>2527 Magic has been going downhill for years. Of course it's going to lose against some with even a fragment of soul still invested in it.
>>3267 I'm still sticking around. Nothing's really going on in 4/mtg/ and I only really use the website for a couple general threads anyway.
>>3304 I left for a few days and come back to see that 4chan is back and this thread came to a screeching halt. I guess the majority of the thread really is consoomers who don't care about anything except getting their slop 15 seconds faster.
>>3442 >I guess the majority of the thread really is consoomers who don't care about anything except getting their slop 15 seconds faster. That's most of 4chan at this point. Not dealing with slop 24/7 outside /b/ was one of the few things I enjoyed about alt chans. Makes me miss all the websites I used to use that went down long ago...
