The first temporal storm turned out to not be so bad, actually. Nothing spawned in my dirt hut and it was mostly surface drifters that were walking around, so I bashed a bunch through the opening in the door(blocked with fence) with a scrap mace. The visuals were freaky, like something out of Silent Hill and it's was only a light storm. I was supposed to be sitting in my panic floor/corner in basement, with clear view on the rest of the room and some blocks to stop shivers, but curiosity got better of me, so I took an elevated position by the door, with single glass block to look through. Wood lamellar armor and crude shield worked well against basic monsters, but I'm sure that if a nightmare version or worse thing came in, I would be in trouble.

Made the copper anvil and I'm learning how to smith. Fun puzzle minigame if you ask me. Shears and scythe are glorious. I was hoping to find one more silver nugget somewhere so I could make a black bronze pickaxe and mine out stuff in the quartz, but looks like it will have to wait. Started making more charcoal and I'm thinking of building a proper house - the dirt-house/dugout-turning-into-underground-messy-nest overstayed it's welcome.

I kind of wish I could re-melt the failed attempts to get back the materials, but oh well. I also have a working cellar and a few stacks of rice inside, so hopefully my food problems are taken care of. There's no animals to speak of, however. I managed to catch two sows, but so far no boars.
