I was watching the Ultrarevamp dev commentary stream a few weeks ago and it got to a point where they could barely go 5 minutes without saying something gay for literally no reason. None of that crap is in the actual game (so far). In fact the latest Layer 7 was probably the best one yet, with the game getting progressively better as new levels come out. I got this game when it was announced, played it, really liked it and had fun. As time passed on, everything surrounding this game disgusted me more and more beyond belief. The only saving grace is that the game is self-contained and fun enough that you can ignore it. It has steadily become harder and harder to ignore however, especially when the only non-pozzed non-degenerate discourse about it exists within small imageboards.
