I used a good bit of my time away from work to play a Bernie run of Crusader Kings from beginning to end and it was super fun. I loved considering the geo-strategic elements of Fodlan and how they influenced the politics of each House (i.e. Imperial influence on Myrddin, Ordelia, and Gloucester due to their strategic importance as a buffer between the Alliance and the Empire) as well as the events of Three Houses. It's a super in-depth mod that gives a great new angle on Three Houses.
Bernie oversaw the development and early expansion of Varley territory and had four children. She was even able to overcome her shyness enough to become best friends with Emperor Edelgard. Her second daughter, Emma von Varley, led a series of wars against neighboring duchies and expanded Varley until it was the largest and most powerful duchy in central Adrestia. Bernie's great-great granddaughter, also a Bernadetta von Varley, inherited the Kingdom of Adrestia, which was split into a kind of East/West Roman Empire thing and still a vassal of the Adrestian Emperor. She was able to reconquer all territory in Eastern Adrestia that had been lost to Alliance and Kingdom incursions. King Ferdinand von Varley built on these successes and crossed the Great Bridge of Myrddin, taking several strategically important duchies in the Leicester Alliance. He also began a series of overseas conquests that expanded Adrestian territory into the Brigid archipelago. Queen Friederica von Varley married a prince of the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus and launched a war against the Kingdom to place her husband on the throne after the death of his sister. Hand-in-hand with the Kingdom, she led an assault on the long-coveted Garreg Mach Monastery.
With Garreg Mach taken, it was becoming clear where the real power in the Empire was based. House Hresvelg had become weak, consistently losing territory to the Kingdom and even converting to the worship of Seiros, turning their back on the path of Emperor Edelgard. The time of the Hresvelg dynasty was running out, but Queen Friederica had no time to press her claim on the Imperial throne. Just after the conquest of Garreg Mach, her husband passed away and the Kingdom fell into civil war. She intervened on behalf of her son, King Stefan von Varley, and ensured the von Varley dynasty held the throne of Faerghus.
With the reign of King Stefan secured in the north, the Adrestian throne was inherited by King Karl von Varley, who fought a bloody and drawn-out civil war to maintain his own rule. After the ruling Adrestian Emperor died and left his teenage daughter on the throne, the victorious king marched his armies west and took the Imperial throne for himself. He quickly annexed the remainder of the Leicester Alliance and invaded territory that Duscur had taken from the Kingdom to put a member of his own house on the throne of Duscur.
By the end of the game, the von Varley dynasty controlled the whole continent of Fodlan, plus Duscur and much of Brigid. The Church of Seiros had been unseated and discredited, with the post-Edelgard Imperial religion becoming dominant in former Seirosite strongholds. It may have taken two hundred and fifty years, but a Varley finished what Edelgard started. Adrestian culture had become influenced by the rule of the von Varley dynasty, with spectacular gardens being grown in noble courtyards. The Kingdom remained an independent state, but allied to the Empire through family ties. At one point there was a Varley on the throne of Almyra as well, but he was unseated in a succession war, and eventually the Kingdom of Almyra collapsed entirely and broke into smaller states.

I think if Bernie gets a new alt this year it's probably going to be for the teatime banner. 3H is very well represented in that one and the maid outfits are canon, so I think it's only a matter of time.
