Lysi finally received something new! A new alt in FEH, this time of her timeskip 3Houses design, and the art is incredibly beautiful and elegant, easily one of my favorites. Even the intro was hype with her bursting out of ice. I'm glad her adult design is getting more love, and can't wait to hear and read all the new dialog. It's strange that she's one of the few 3H units to have her regular timeskip design. Tokyo Xanadu takes place in, well, modern day Tokyo as the name implies. HOWEVER Trails itself does have cars and stuff. You're right about the industrial age bit but the full story is that Trails takes place during an ONGOING tech revolution. Mankind has, fifty years prior to the games starting, discovered a new energy source called Orbal energy which has almost limitless potential. This kickstarts a new age of invention and discovery. Over the series we see new tech constantly being prototyped, developed and deployed for mass consumption. We go from wall mounted landline phones to modern smartphones over 10 games and about seven years in-universe. It also needs to be mentioned that the different arcs take place in different countries which have their own culture and focus. For simplicity >Liberl is all about airships, it has very rocky terrain so no cars at all aside from some tractors and stuff. >Erebonia is all about the really robust train system that runs through the empire, but it does have cars in the capital >Calvard is car country and is crisscrossed by huge superhighways, and most people use cars in their daily lives >Crossbell is a melting pot in the middle with a bit of everything Of course there is a bit of overlap but that's the quick rundown.
