Fuck, get ready for a lot of text, I'd like to share my considerations with you.

Thank you, I fell asleep at some point after work and just recently woke up. Ah, fuck,
power naps aren't a thing, don't believe anyone who says this, I have such a headache it's unreal. I need to grab some water.

I haven't read anything about the organizers' plans, but then again, post-VTL discussion can be quite emotional, to put it mildly, and that's why I keep out of it. I'll just adapt to the new rules on the pitch and currently I'm busy with preparations for Phase Calcio behind the scenes, checking with John Wisp, /pcgen3k/, /tsunX/ and /pcg/ how to make those 2 friendlies an experience for all of you. On top of this, John Wisp signed us up for Ogey Calibur 2, I signed up /gsg/, in that regard, we just act as if nothing happens and as if we're still on /vt/. I keep /gsg/ updated about their fighter and basically treat that a bit like any other board event for which I would have signed up /mint/.
If you wondered why I signed them up and not /mint/, I unironically got inspired by the /nijiEN/ manager and the Ogey Calibur Wisp, who is also a caretaker for another VTL thread: I just want to help them out, get eyes on them, get them out of their shell. Helping a new thread I like just for the sake of doing something good for them, just because I feel like it.
In my eyes, there's several reasons for returning and several for staying.
<board events
I will get us a star and I will do what's necessary to get it. I assume this means returning, so I'm basically forced to do so. This is my single biggest reason for returning.
<bigger reach
4chin gets hard carried by its name, I feel as if quite a few Wisps haven't found us yet. On /vt/, we would be reunited with everyone. Assuming they haven't left altogether. The higher traffic would mean that new Wisps or just new people in general who want to discuss Minto find us. It would also make for easier discussions with other threads.
<more stable connection
Do you miss John Wisp? His presence is missing in /mint/ if you ask me, he currently can't access 8moe. This site has always had some troubles with that and that's never been a thing on 4chin.
</mint/ and Minto are too big to not be on /vt/
Someone will bake /mint/, someone will discuss Minto on /vt/. That better be us so we can control the narrative.
>I'm an accountant, you know?
8moe actually seems to give a shit about us, they are grateful that we are here and it would be a shit move of us to just leave them in the dust. I'm pretty sure that the site owners who now have to invest a lot will be left struggling when everyone for which they provided suddenly returned. They did everything they could and I'm glad that they accommodated us properly. They seem like good people and I don't want to be the reason why they suddenly do badly.
>user experience
Let's the real, 8moe has much more features, is more convenient to use and in general simply the better site to browse. Multiple images, videos with sound, more possibilities to design posts and such.
>better climate
I certainly don't miss jannies threadshitting, the common retards on 4chin who are protected by the site themselves and all of this shit. /vt/ was a hostile environment for us, the staff itself was either neglectful or malicious - pick your poison. I don't trust them whatsoever. Jannies here do their research on communities, respond quickly to your average schizos, they aren't the schizos themselves. Discussions on here have been far more relaxed and they also did a lot for threads which have a shit time on /vt/, /freak/ for example. 8moe wants us to be here, have us feel this and allow us to have a nice time. Compared to /vyt/, /vt/ was a shithole and I dread going back to that dumpster.
<conclusion
>conclusion
I believe it's necessary to keep a presence on /vt/, but I for sure enjoy /vyt/ a lot more. I tend to say that we may have to wait and see how things develop, but this may mean that we just go with what will be a done deal even though the alternative would have been better for us. I'm torn on what to do and can't really give you any advice or insights. I'm just like any other Wisp.
