Anonymous 07/06/2024 (Sat) 17:13:30 No. 460630
My biggest fear is that civilization will not collapse rapidly and violently and instead all of us will atrophy and perish in the slow march towards nothingness, all the while suffering in the same constant, eternal pain.
your biggest fear is being realized, anon
>>460630 Depends on how liberal things get and how many whites are left when the IQ level threshold is reached
>>460635 Sure, it's "liberals". Not the religious groups that claim to have morals yet have been responsible for 99% of wars, oppression, slavery, etc worldwide for thousands of years. Morality & god do not mix. You can't be a decent person if you follow rules that say you can beat whomever is different from you. How can it be a "loving god" when you have to live in FEAR of it? I gave up on religion a long time ago, all 3 of the majn ones are just different varieties of the same shit, which can't even agree within their own ranks, let alone with each other, so they blow each other up. But please, tell me these insane people are the high standards of society.
>>460638 Liberalism is a mental illness brought on by too much mutation on their genome caused industry and medicine and the genes are the source of the cycle of civilizations Humans are evolved to be religious, ain't no changing that, and it will evolve different populations into different species, better adapted to what that religion selects for and the only way we can get back into paradise, evolved out of sin A selfish liberal can't appreciate group orientation in any way as individualism is morality for them and religion is all about group orientation and ethnic selection
>>460630 What? I thought you guys were all for Warhammer 40K as your Utopia of the future ..?
>>460642 The people of 40k are in a better place then us
>>460640 Religion is fairy tales invented to explain the mechanisms of the natural world that primitive minds could not otherwise understand. Not to say that the spiritual world does not exist! It certainly does! But to imagine that the universe works exclusively as described in some superstitious and politically-driven ghost stories from the Bronze Age is madness. In America, the dichotomy you describe is the reverse: conservatism is focused entirely upon satisfying the individual (Ayn Rand's shit), while the liberals are all about working and enriching as communities (SOH-SHUL-IZZUM!!!!!!)
>>460644 If you honestly believe that, then you are truly lost. Unless you're the Orks. They're having a ball! The Imperium of Man are but maggots writhing in a slowly rotting corpse.
>>460645 Religion is the social glue that keeps societies functioning. You follow a religion too, it's just gay and retarded.
>>460646 thanks for not addressing any of my points. There is evolution behind religion, we need it, like touch and talking, trying to not follow a religion, just makes you follow a gay death cult orcs aren't people, and the people of 40k have a much bigger corpse to eat, and they have things trying to kill them, and thus keeping their genomes healthy
>>460649 Religion is faith in the unprovable. My standards are higher than that. Religion is also a promise of next-life reward or punishment that the religion itself is not obligated to deliver. No bigger fraud exists. >>460650 Dude. The canon description of the Imperium is that it is a dying society locking in a death spiral of decay chained by superstition, xenophobia and a hated for anything new. THEY ARE A DOOMED RACE. They are only skidding to oblivion at a glacial pace. And their genome is not healthy! It is hideously poisoned and mutated!
>>460656 but they are under selection pressure, and that allows them to adapt, and eventually overcome what the writers think doesn't matter, 40k is about what would happen if our suffering was energy to something sapient, the answer is that they would reflect that part of our nature that makes us suffer in that way, and try to evolve us into something that could still suffer yet be able to cope with it, and in that we find meaning about our 'wills' , our "selves" and what could serve as motivation for living the writers don't understand that, the stories need archetypes, and to be about the human nature that is the bedrock of the 40k world, not their retarded vendettas against specific factions or characters tldr cherry picked lore > most of the stories, and what the writers, that are paid to keep the stories going, think
>>460656 >My standards are higher than that. Go ahead, prove how the universe came into existence. And while you're at it, prove how some sociology professor interviewing three of his grad students is sound research. >Religion is also a promise of next-life reward or punishment that the religion itself is not obligated to deliver. No bigger fraud exists. Oh my, what happened to "conservatism is focused entirely upon satisfying the individual (Ayn Rand's shit), while the liberals are all about working and enriching as communities"?
BBCAMENKO will Save the Human Race.
>>460660 What I recited has nothing to do with the TV shows, but the WH40K canon since the 1990s. Mankind is fighting a losing battle, the Imperium leadership knows this, but is afraid to do anything about it because HERESY! The imperium responded to their selection pressure by rejecting the adaptive mechanisms optimized for survival, for tradition and fear and religious fanaticism.
>>460662 >Go ahead, prove how the universe came into existence. *insufficient data for accurate analysis* We all have ideas and hypothesis and statements of faith -- the story of creation from Genesis is a not-far-off narration of solar system creation, actually-- but I have no concrete proposal how Creation came into being, and it's not important to me. It's all here now, no matter how it got here, so what do we do with it? You do not land your second point.
>>460667 >insufficient data for accurate analysis (mis)quoting science fiction as gospel, how embarrassing >It's all here now, so what do we do with it? And the fruit of your actions proves your religion gay and stupid. >You do not land your second point because it flew over your head. The enlightened atheist is looking rather dim.
