I finally had some free time to go buy the cards i needed to finish my shaddoll deck, i didn't realize it was pointless until after i bought them. Turns out apollousa was important to this deck, as shaddoll's sole negate honestly sucks (it has a real cost!) and the bodies this specific build can put out can't really be used for anything else. Still, this is what i came up with. The ideal combo goes like this (2 card combo by the way): >normal summon aleister, add invocation >target it with shadow's light, summon quem from deck, quem dumps cartesia >link aleister into artemis, which summons cartesia with quem's second effect >link artemis and quem into cross-sheep >fuse mechaba by banishing aleister and artemis, but don't summon it to any of sheep's arrows (i do this because he comes out on exactly the 5th special summon, which matters because nibiru is a thing), summon it right below the extra zone you're using (VERY IMPORTANT) >banish shadow's light to get another normal summon for a LIGHT/DARK monster, use invocation's GY effect to return aleister to hand >normal summon aleister and add invocation, again >use cartesia's quick effect to fuse granguignol to one of sheep's arrows using aleister and herself >dump apkallone with granguignol's effect, add schism with apkallone's GY effect This is where the 3 squamata's come up, if you drew one you can use it as apkallone's discard cost to then send beast from deck and draw a card while keeping 3 shaddolls in grave, if you didn't then toss whatever, but the end board will be weaker. >sheep's effect summons quem/cartesia from GY If there were any good generic synchro 12 monsters that only needed 1 tuner besides luluwalilith (which i run, but will summon with granguignol's GY effect) i would go for a different combo, but for now this is the best i can come up with. The deck sadly does not vomit enough bodies to go for riskier plays to end up with gryphon, mechaba, chaos angel, caliga and winda (i'm one body short in fact). >sheep + aleister + quem = gryphon >fuse caliga using aleister and squamata/beast (only if you drew squamata)

Had my first game of Vanguard today! >Ogres played by me. >Undead played by some guy in my group. Both of us are new to the game obviously. But I have significantly more wargaming experience in general so I won. I also didn't bring the rulebook with me so we just relied on my memory for rules. Kind of a shitty thing for me to do, Didn't remember any of the special rules for his faction. In my defense though I did tell him about the special rules that I did know about like crushing strength and piercing. Final score was 15 for me and 6 for the other guy. I for one quite enjoyed playing the game. It was a bit slower than something like grimdark future but it was still quite fun. Probably would have been more fun if I had actually used the extra special actions that the power dice are supposed to give you. But I couldn't remember all of those. Going to have to bring the rulebook with me next time. Should probably read the rules again as well just to be safe.

Considering how much they charge for plastic crack already, and in the face of increasingly more commonplace 3D printing, this seems like a bad idea. While they are obviously trying to protect their bottom line they've already burned a lot of the faith their customer base has in them and even people who might argue that more recent changes to things like lore and whatnot are subjectively good or bad no body can argue a price hike is not objectively worse. Considering the price increase in your area is likely double or more what other regions are seeing Faggot OP do you have an idea of where you could import from to defray some of the additional cost? Also, we should probably have a News thread to congregate things like this and WoTC hiring pinkertons under.

Haven't posted here in a while so i might as well do that now. First pic I am not entirely happy with. Second pic I tried painting the skirt and legs first and it was way more pleasant. Especially since I kinda just covered the legs in brown and stopped caring about where the pants start and where the boots start. Not my best work in the world but I think its perfectly fine.

New ogre! I am really slow with painting these guys. I really like how this guy ended up. Halfway through I thought it was going to be a bust but nope it turned out pretty well. I especially like how the back turned out.
