But these two cars were driven by two of the biggest male Hollywood stars of the 1930s: Clark Gable and Gary Cooper. They would road-race each other in these things in the Hollywood Hills. With 400 HP underfoot. With those tires. And no power brakes or power steering. With manny transmissions with no synchro gear.
