There is no doubt that the sequel to Sonic Frontiers is in development, as Morio Kishimoto has mentioned it multiple times on his Xitter account. We don’t know much about this title, as it hasn’t been officially announced yet. Our ideas about Frontiers 2 can only be based on the first game’s vision, developer interviews, Kishimoto’s Xitter posts, and a few 4cuck leaks which are probably fake. >What do we want to see in Sonic Frontiers 2? >How should the sequel improve upon the original game? >What shouldn’t be in the sequel? >What could be its vision and design philosophy?

They're also in The Final Horizon Maybe the reason you don't remember is because they don't appear until you collect all the Red Star Rings in a stage, at least that's how it is in Forces, I don't know about Lost World

After replaying frontiers and shadgen Yeah, I prefer frontier's open field physics except I want cyberspace's homing boost added to that vs shadgen's physics I really like flinging sonic into oblivion via boosting on ramps/inclined surfaces and reach places not normally intended unless you play with the physics

One thing I liked about Frontiers over other boost games is you can't boost through enemies. Ducking and weaving around enemies in frontiers is way more satisfying than holding down the boost button.
>>42654 Same. The boost in Frontiers also works differently in that it doesn't move you forward when on the ground unless you're holding a direction. It isn't really the same mechanic as Unleashed, it's almost entirely different, and I feel like a lot of people ignore this. I also like how you can Homing Attack without jumping first.
The Cyclone would have made more sense as a 100% completion reward in Frontiers. If they bring it back for Frontiers 2, I hope it's not so overpowered.
Will Frontiers 2 get random crossovers from other franchises like Crossworlds is getting?
