Weiss is now tied with Ren for my favourite pick for Grimm Eclipse. Blake would be alright if her dash was longer. I do not understand why Pyrrha and Ren can both (non jump) dash further than Blake. Weiss gets the spot because her yeeting ice balls and freezing everything in a line not only stops my hated enemies from moving and also makes attacks against them hit harder. Ren's aura-pulse lets him stun them at will, which means easy setup into executions. Or team attacks, as the game calls them. I liked Watt's cybernetic body design in the JL movies, it was pretty creative as was the concept arts. I really think Ironwood should have had some of that. Speaking of, I brought this up during the V8 Stream but I think Ironwood should have gotten an integrated hand-cannon arm, or maybe one that switches between cannon and blade, like Megatron from Transformer's Prime. It would be much better than the stupid thing he had (pic 4) which was just both of Due Process' revolvers fused into a cannon box. I'm sorry, Chibibro, but because of Grimm Eclipse I cannot hate Weiss. Her heavy ranged attack at max upgrade = the yote energy ball freezes every Grimm it touches. Fuck-long-range super-stun capability lets me suppress entire lines of Grimm every three shots. To be more clear, a stunned enemy just stops in its place. Hitting a frozen enemy means more damage dealt. The prospect of supplying this for my teammates, buying us time by locking down the wave, is too good to pass up given that my ping of 200 on a good day makes normal gameplay a joke. Grimm Eclipse Weiss must have taken notes from Ren's Aura-palm technique because one ability means if she counters a non-large enemy, they get frozen solid. Capitalizing on a team attack opportunity someone else makes? You guessed it, both the Grimm she dives sword-first upon and (when upgraded) the Grimm surrounding the target are all frozen in place. Grimm Eclipse Weiss is a disciple of Frozone and Mr. Freeze. You could call her slick as well as wet like a cat in a damp paper bag, but she's such a frosty bitch that her anti-upskirt technology is a whole ass icemaker in her crotch.

Monochrome is one of the few Yuri ships between RWBY that I actually find tolerable because it has an interesting dynamic. WR is just annoying, Bees ironically is done better in fanfiction than canon and even in fanfiction I despise it. They can go boil their shirts.

A new reason I've come to like it is how the base dynamic seems like Weiss is overbearing and bossy and stifling towards Blake, when the reality is that a single stern finger poke from Blake is enough to make Weiss fold with no resistance.

The cunt directly one floor below from me is playing music, and I can feel it through the concrete floors and walls. Hoping security fucks him.

Monochrome is pretty easily my favorite yuri ship. Other ones can have interesting dynamics but I think Monochrome has the most narrative potential. Stuff like Weiss interacting with Adam or Blake meeting Jacques would have been interesting to see, and I think it could make good use of Blake's island princess background. Having Blake know esoteric upper-class things along with Weiss could be a fun recurring gag. I was thinking about Volume 7 some more this morning and it really is where the writers just gave up. They broke their own world and any common sense or consistency to justify the dumb plot they wanted to happen to happen. Atlas and Ironwood are made incompetent and weak before anything even happens and it makes no sense. Full military, ships, army, Huntsmen, not weakened like Haven was for years and years, Dust stockpiled thanks to the Embargo, a full Kingdom of resources that hasn't been fucked with by Salem at all, and it doesn't even have a functioning wall around Mantle? It doesn't have defensive turrets like we saw on the Argus? Where are all the Huntsmen anyways? How could the Kingdom actually be low on resources when it's supposed to be fucking Atlas. And a reminder, Beacon only fell because of a combination of the Grimm, the Wyvern waking, the Atlas ships and bots being taken over, the White Fang, and not having a Maiden. And it was only Beacon that actually fell and ended in a stalemate, not the entire Kingdom. But then Salem is able to personally brute force all of Atlas down herself and it can't even properly defend itself or do anything. It's like they thought they screwed up and made her position too weak after Volume 5. Nothing in Atlas or Volume 7 makes sense. The heroes position is made stupidly weak. Alright yeah, just kind of needed to vent that a little.
