LLMs don't understand style or clothes, and that's because there isn't anything in their training data that describes what the different things are and how they're used. LLM training data needs a few hundred documents that describe how socks are put on feet, under shoes and they usually make things comfortable and are usually dame of stretchy, soft fabric. How pants are worn on the lower body, jeans are a subset of pants, jeans are less comfortable than other clothing types but are more durable and less revealing, how denim jeans are the traditional type, they kind of bunch up around the crotch, reach from low hip to waist, usually have belt loops, can be cut off, which changes them to shorts, etc etc etc. Humans have lifetimes wearing clothes and so we don't have the need to talk with one another about what various clothing items are and how they fit and what they do. If I say "Tom put on his jeans" you know exactly what happened. An AI doesn't.

I've tried writing a few character cards for SillyTavern, but I'm unsure where to share them. I'm unsure that search & tags are fully working on chub.ai & other sites that are clones of that system since there are cards that don't appear in searches on those sites, yet they do exist when you use a web search from elsewhere. Perhaps it's another situation like civit.ai where they hide a massive amount of content unless you create an account, sign in & disable any safe search crap to see it. The cards I've seen have different formatting as well. I tried writing a card in different ways, but the one using colons & semicolons may be working best for my model. Also read that you should use the Author's Notes feature, but I never tried it & most people don't use that apparently. All that stuff is already in the card, but Author's Notes apparently is supposed to keep important traits always present. I probably need to experiment more before uploading any of the OC donut steel I've made.

Tried Flux, but it didn't work & kept complaining about memory so I guess 12GB of VRAM isn't enough. Sold my 4090 in the past & the prices are so retarded now I'm not buying one again. May as well wait for 5090 reveal at CES in January, but the price of that is gonna be stupid & it'll be unobtainable due to scalpers as always. Funniest thing is that AI video generation needs even more VRAM than the 5090 will have (according to leaked specs).

I found this website, https://perchance.org/ai-character-generator it lets you generate a portrait for the AI based upon the first dialog box and then later making a tag of words for the personalty of the bot. The generated image that I had before was kind of a hit or miss but maybe it was just my lack of imagination to fine tune it further, but overall it's free and a easy way to make new AI cards.
