Thread for talking about the best game to walk around comfy Japanese wilderness and look at shrines. I know assassin's creed has gotten itself a bad rep for being padded out and not fun and badly written. But this one has some pretty fun stealth and some of the best looking environments ive ever seen. I really like it and hope other anons can see the good in it.

well, now that the dust has settled. what's the /v/erdict? they created an amazing looking game world and that's about it, so it's basic ubislop but at least none of the main story characters were offensively bad and ugly like far cry 6 had. i didn't feel like continuing the ubisoft+ sub for this.

Mat Piscatella sent the chart out and works for the Circana, dealing with vidya. People been using it to mock haters to say that "SEE! it was actually a super successful game, chudcels!" The company seems to do business data analysis. The data itself is sourced from some business analytical tools from Circana but I ain't paying shit. Supposedly the sales data they worked with comes from both Ubisoft themselves and the stores selling it. He alleges it's only behind ASScreed Valhalla. It being dollar sales, it makes me wonder if the ubi+ sub cope was wrong. Player retention seems to be at 10th place on xbox and ps5 according to him. From this I think it probably sold better than most naysayers thought. It still didn't have save Ubisoft from the Tencent rape and the likely employee layoffs. So which is it? How much of a flop or success was Assassin creed shadows on it's own?
