If you're only gonna fight enemies and finish the game as soon as possible, then it's a 7/10. If you're actually interested in the whole lore and mythology of the game then it's a 9/10. The game has a lot of soulful elements that a lot of ADHD zoomers ignore, such as hand drawn entries for every single enemy you encounter in your journey, along with a backstory of how they became to be, and a little poem to summarize it all. There are some kino cutscenes/mini animations between every chapter that give a backstory to the main character of the chapter you just finished. The NPCs are quite likeable and the story is nice.
You only have one weapon in the game, the monkey stick. However, the monkey stick has 3 different stances and each stance has its own combos and utilities (for example: smash stance allows you to charge your heavy attack while sprinting, making you play more aggressive, while pole stance lets you climb your stick all the way to the top, dodging some enemy attacks). The best part about the game is that you can respec for free at any time right from the menu, so you can adapt your stances to the enemy ar hand and it makes the game feel more varied in a sense. It's a pretty fun game imo, you should definitely give it a shot if it's on sale (assuming you're on the fence).
