Also they only work on Windows XP and Vista (Used it on an actual XP machine). Problem might've been the number of hoops it took to get the XP machine even connected to the internet in the first place which threw it off. I have yet to try it with a VM.

I have a homebrewed 3DS which works perfectly well, until I slot in my Soul Silver cartridge, and then it's a 30/70 roll on whether it will freeze trying to read it whenever I'm on the home menu any ideas? if I turn it on and off a bunch of times eventually it'll read the cartridge and I can play it normally with no issues for hours, so I don't think it's broken >just download the rom I'm using the pokewalker and the cartridge has a built in infrared to communicate with it

So - theoretically, what's to stop someone from making a very DS/3DSXL-like clamshell with the appropriate audio, screen resolutions, and controller layouts - but not having any of the actual computational internals of a DS/3DS system, just a video decoder chip and wifi - then streaming the video and audio from an emulator to the "controller". Then just have all your roms on your PC, home server, and/or cell phone. Can you already split the display between top and bottom screens to a multi-monitor setup? If so, it should be fairly easy to accomplish such a setup without much (if any) compatibility work needing to be done on the emulators themselves. Or am I just retarded and something like this already exists, but I haven't seen it yet?
