Touhou Project is a video game series created by Team Shanghai Alice. ZUN, the founder and only member of the group, is the sole mind behind the games, from the code to the graphics to the music and everything in between. The first game was released in 1997. Most of the games are part of the bullet hell shoot-'em-up genre, where the player dodges waves of beautiful and destructive curtains of bullets called danmaku. Is deathbombing getting harder in the new games or is it just me getting duller? I used to bomb on reaction or when I knew I was going to die but now I can only do the latter, I don't know why when I press the X button when the bullets are at a distance like the right illustration and I still die like there's some sort of delay between the press and the bomb trigger. Before I could have a bullet right on my face, bomb and still continue to be play.

Man the FW grinding help me out a lot, after less than a month of neglecting SA I came back and got another 1cc on first try! Reimu C is really just MoF bomb with the weird shoot thing that took me a while to get into, it's an actual pain in the ass to get the first stages clear because the thing would not go where I wanted it to. Also funny that Okuu can actually take off that control rod thing unlike what some people like to think against. >>1739623 Continue to be playing normally"

Finally. SakuyaA SUUUUUUUUCKS, and here's why: 1) Stupid movespeed. You can't do cool fullscreen macrododges like with Marisa, you can't do precise micrododges like with Reimu either. Moreover, Sakuya's focus speed is "Fast" compared to Marisa's "medium", and it really feels, moments where I ran into a bullet because underestimated her speed are countless. Movespeed is blatantly playing against you. 2) Slow cherry gain from shooting and almost no control over it. Which means less cherry borders and it's nearly impossible to time them when you need them, and SakuyaA REALLY needs them during certain stage portions. 3) Abovementioned certain stage portions, which become PAIN with this shottype. Ending of stage 3 (good luck killing circled fairies when your focused aim is constantly distracted by oneshottable trash near them, not evem mentioning unfocused shot), stage 4 aimed fairies (good luck getting items here without cherry border/bomb), penultimate stage 4 portion (same as stage 3 ending, but at least you can dodge here even if at cost of items), ending of stage 5 (unable to kill fairies before they shoot, second wave is almost unpassable without cherry/bomb). 4) Merlin. Fuck her. Her nonspell feels like Clappy's stuff, definitely not something you expect from stage 4 PCB. Never managed to dodge it, and it eats two bombs + very stressful shooting time before them. 5) From point 3) you also get poor scoring if you didn't manage (and wasn't lucky enough) to time cherries for resources. Thus, forget about 1200 extend. My 1cc run was very good on cherries, so I managed to grab it literally on second half of Resurrection Butterfly, but it's way too rare to hope for on stable basis. 6) Her """homing""" shottype is as much homing as american cheese is cheese. It's AIMED, which makes it miss half the time on moving targets, take time to re-aim at actually important target and lose it again as another 1hp shitter spawned! Gotta kill it first! No straight-shooting amulets like ReimuA has, you simply can't control this shottype. 7) Focused bomb clears bullets very poorly, unfocused bomb clears bullets fine but doesn't last long, so once you bomb you're most likely still in difficult position and will bomb soon again. Her bomb is basically half a real bomb, only MarisaA has bombs worse.

SakuyaB done, with all honesty, on first try after a break. Super sloppy run, three bombs and a live on lost Merlin non, came to Resurrection Butterfly with 3 bombs. Are there any decent non-bullethell, translated to english touhou fangames for mobile? I could only think of Lost Word, and I could even close my eyes on it being gacha and ignore this part of it, but I'm not sure if there is even anything to play in this game other than that. Am I overlooking something?
