Pretty good. I wish Ena didn't use the masculine voice as often as she does.

Played 2 "routes" so far, passed the skill check run, was very satisfying. The humor and aesthetics are in line with previous episodes, I'd say. I think one issue I have with these walking sims/LSD-likes, (besides the massive amounts of forgiveness), is that I sometimes get nauseous or motion sick playing them for extended periods

Game is fun if you like adventure games and/or weird aesthetics. The character roster is pretty memorable with the list of oddballs you can meet and/or do odd jobs for. This Ena isn't as fun most of the time because her secondary/girl-voiced side isn't as active. Depressed Ena was fun in the web series and pissed(?) Ena is fun in the game, but the latter doesn't come out as often. I wish to impregnate the schizo catgirl.

I've seen alot of people take the "Hangovers in the afterlife" line as proof the game is the afterlife, but isn't it supposed to refer to the fact that you die at the purge event, and would be in the afterlife afterward, but not currently?" Nonetheless, if the game IS in the afterlife, could the Uncanny Streets be the afterlife of some tragic event? Prehaps a ship-wreck, considering the coral, the sky looking like the ocean and the ground looking like the bottom of the sea, etc? Considering the themes of war in the game too, it could've been a battleship, likely part of the pacific theatre. I'm not commited to this theory but assuming the uncanny streets are the ghost of a shipwreck, could unforgiven Frank be the Captain of the ship? His king status represents his status as the captain, and his crown not only has waves on its rim but it also resembles a pirate hat honestly. Him being blinded would reference him not seeing whatever caused the ship to sink, and his punishment then would fit his crime, which he has accepted. I still don't think this game is the afterlife, and these characters being from WW2 would be odd considering how they speak and tend to pull inspiration from after WW2, but this fits pretty well as an explanation of sorts for Unforgiven Frank. "This ship and her sweet memory bring peace."

I really liked the game, I did a playthrough helping everyone but missing the purge, and fell into the lake in the bathroom zone by talking to the puking guy like a dumbass and another playthrough going straight for the purge, and got skill filtered by the rafts in the bathroom zone. I think I'll do another purge run because I'm pretty sure I missed things in the party and try to get through the lake and actually make it to the bathroom this time.

So is the setting a sort of afterlife or dream world? Is it supposed to be a wacky matrix? There's references to sinning and repenting, with genies seemingly being the thing that decides if you move on or not. A kind of purgatory? It's clearly not meant to be that thought out, but the setting internally probably has at least one 'line' of consistency. Even if you watched the animations (which you should, it's not that long and they're good) you don't get much information beyond it being a surreal world, most likely a digital world, with some powerful beings that can grant "wishes", and yes some references to it being a purgatory as well as some insights on Ena herself.
