Saw this thread on /vg/ a few times are there any actual mods/fangames worth playing or should I just stick to the official stuff

>>1107267 Short answer yes, long answer it depends on what you want. There's a gorillion mods to choose from, it's hard to say which ones are best. I can show you all the ones I've played, if they were shit I didn't keep a copy so it's basically a recommended list. The go-to one is Monika After Story which is about as close to canon as mods get, just continuing Act 3 with Monika in the space room and you do nothing but talk to her and play cards. That has submods to have her get naked and talk dirty if you want to jack off to Monika. I liked SNAFU because it adds new game mechanics like time management and grinding skill points to unlock routes. Blue Skies is one of the earliest and popular mods.

can a Monifag explain the non-horror appeal of her? I certainly don’t dislike her, but I like her more as the game’s big antagonist than as a waifu. Her true personality also seems both secretive and distorted by the epiphany, unlike the other girls who stick closer to their respective tropes.
