ITT comfy MMO's/online web games Anonymous 04/19/2025 (Sat) 16:26:59 Id: fea62e No. 1151325
These aren't your grandma's massive MMO RPG's, just the fun games you used to hang out on as a kid, the chatrooms, the online spaces, big or small What was your favorite, how obscure was it, and how super duper dead is it now?

It was Coke Music for me, loved that game at the time. I drank the fuck out of Vanilla Coke too so I had a bunch of the furni from that, and there was an exploit with the sumo rasslin' that I can't remember the specifics of but I know it made it easy to get a ton of the furni from that too, tatami mats, rice paper wall divider things, gongs, etc. I always loved in Coke Music and Habbo Hotel when people would make super long complicated mazes using multiple rooms and teleporters between them, with some cool exclusive lounge type room at the end.

>>1151325 The Kingdom of Loathing a pretty funny stickman MMO that I played in 2005 apparently it's not dead since there's 200 people still online
>>1190291 This looks like one of those website wide games you click around to get from point to point instead of actually moving a character, like Neopets Btw how teh fuck is Neoptets still up? They still have that mid 2010s looking artstyle but now their website is real modernized and does that awful thing where it pops things into view as you scroll

>>1212470 >Spoiler Millennial Tumblrina cat ladies. The site's been updating at a glacial pace. Most of the games still haven't been converted from HTML5 to Flash, several worlds still use 15+ year old maps, and several pages, including commonly-used ones, still use the pre-modernized site interface. The site's largely a victim of feature bloat, with some terrible decision making thrown in. At this point, they're (justifiably) doubling down on holding on to what audience they have left. Anyone from /npg/ still kicking?
>>1217116 >/npg/ ? Also I doubt anyone actually plays Neopets except a few autists, I'm sure the posers love to talk about how le aesthetique it is but they probably never log on

>>1226387 I didn't play AJ I played pic rel but I never had a paid account I just liked chatting shit but every person I know who did play AJ as a kid turned out fucking weird What is it about this game? You can't say it's cause it has animals in it so it attracts furries, there's lots of stuff about animals that isn't this autistic, they're regular fucking not super anthropomorphic animals and it's an education game about nature and shit... This shit has to be beaming something into kids' heads
Speaking of which, are there any of these chatroom type browser games that are still around? I wouldn't mind having a little /v/ get together Not a raid or anything gay like that, just shitpissing around having a sit having a good time
>>1190291 Damn this game's still going strong, huh? My brother and I played this a lot in middle school.
>>1227719 What's the game like?
>>1358252 You know I love dick girls right?
>>1242452 It's been so long I can't remember. It's nothing exciting, mostly just numbers going up and fun dialogue.
