Does anyone else have audio problems with emulation? I tried playing the ROM on my MiSTer FPGA and while the gameplay is fine, the audio starts cutting out before it eventually goes away completely.

Man, that was a really nice game. Second dungeon boss was annoying, but overall a solid game. I really like the rotty tops zombie jokes in this one. Second best Shantae game in my opinion. Best one is of course the very first one.

I just finished the game, took me about 7 hours. It's pretty much exactly what I've come to expect from a Shantae game: cute, short and easy. That's not necessarily a bad thing in our age of bloated games that don't have that much more substantial content than Shantae, but take three times as long to beat. The lack of an auto-map was weird and I was running quite a lot in circles in the last dungeon. The same goes for the two-layer world. Other that I have nothing to complain about. The only part where I was stuck for real was freeing the frozen girls, I had to look that up on YouTube. The lack of any extra post-game extras was a bit disappointing, but this is a GBA game by the end of the day, there is only so much they can cram into these tiny cartridges.
