Same anon here who was writing all that lore stuff in the previous thread.
>Mystic is logos and Terror is pathos
This is one of the things I left out because I was getting lazy, but it's another note that explains well what's going on between mystic and terror. A dichotomy as natural as that is what reigns supreme on Kivotos and it's logic. This is pretty accurate, yes.
>Shiroko and Hoshino both either became or nearly turned into Terrors upon their emotions being prodded in the right way.
This is a pretty accurate idea too. The manifestation of terror happens once the mystic is switched away from the logic path and turns into pure emotions. Both cases happened in a similar way, one with Shiroko letting her desire of ending everything turn her way from the logic and the one with Hoshino with her letting her sorrow overtake the logic in her brain.
>he Chroma specifically wanted to use Shiroko Terror's Sublime to bring about the end of the world
I find the Chroma to be something beyond Mystic, Sublima and Terror. Mostly because we don't have enough information about it. It has some sense of "awareness" and even "desire", or at the very least something close to a will. I think it lies closer to something we could categorize like a "creation force". Something that seems to be willing to produce or create as some sort of balance in the world. It's hard to describe this way, but we could even infer that the same thing exits in the opposite extreme, something capable of creating mystic. Perhaps the force that created mystics in first place for kivotos to hold. But this is more of a thought than anything.
>Decagrammaton is able to form halos as it has achieved both the Mystic and the Terror on its own
I don't think this is exactly the case. I agree that deca has gotten to the point that it can "create" something close to a Halo, or at the very least, something that works mostly like one. But I don't think such Halo has the same properties as the one students have. In one of the post I commented how Aris seems to be immune to the Chroma because she was created with both a mystic and a terror, simply because the Chroma can't affect her, thus, in order to make her work she needed to have both somehow.
It was only until recently when we began seeing a more "emotional" side of the prophets as the decacunnies talked about it. (Chokma being shy, Geburah being hot-head). Such things weren't present for a long time with none of the other prophets, they operated on logic only.
I feel Deca just started to realize the side of the Terror on its prophets. But the halos it creates are still far from being perfect. Aris on the other hand seems to be the same exact thing Deca is trying to create,a perfect existence, something that has both the mystic and terror, then the sublime, with all other properties that validate its existence. No wonder Aris is going to be the one stopping Malkuth.
>whereas Decagrammaton is attempting to formulate a purpose of its own from scratch to be able to ascend.
Something funny is that we don't know if it was the AI simply waking up, or if it had some kind of external influence. During the talk with Himari, it explains how it was asked "who are you". This may something the Ai did on its own, or something someone else did whether on purpose or by mistake. But it's also worth nothing how it said that it didn't have the resources to understand this, meaning that it somehow got upgraded or found a way to do so.
We probably won't be told exactly how it happened because that would take away the "supernatural" part of the AI. If we know how it's made, then it's no longer supernatural, it becomes logical, and can be replicated
