Today I would like to apologize to Hasumi-senseis and Kikyou-senseis. Hasumi-senseis because I defied the wheel through negligence, and Kikyou-senseis for being given nothing, only to see Sumire have 60% more than the previous record holder (Kotama). I will hold myself to requiring at least 300 words going forward, and unless the character's hair is special to me in some way or form, ideally not going over 1000 words.
But apologies are not what I am here to talk about- today I want to talk about Momiji's hair. THE CHILD has long green hair that, assuming her chibi is somewhat accurate due to her hair being beary far away from her along with a thick white coat hiding her body, should go down to her calves. Her hair is two-tone, her ends becoming blue instead of her green. She sort of looks like a water spirit, hidden under layers of a cozy coat. She is definitely one of the least grizzly students in the game, instead being cute and cuddly. Something that really bothers me is that there is no official art showing what's under that hoodie. However, going by the fact she can hide all her hair in her coat, I wouldn't be surprised if she actually had quite the long hair in there. If only I could bear witness to it. A long, flowing river of hair that looks like a stream thawing out for spring's warm embrace...
This may cause some growls, but Momiji's personality of being an otaku and even wearing the coat indoors makes her hair seem like her hair could use some work. That might be another reason as to why she doesn't show her hair aside from what we can see- some hints of that reveal themselves in the little whiskers above her long strands of hair, implying that her hair is both bursting to get out, but also that her hair might be sticking together. Red Winter students as a whole are some of the most washable- letting Momiji eventually ease up and be fine in the SCHALE building to where she removes her coat and cute gloves (how does she turn pages in those? Momiji is quite dexterous!), and letting her take a shower in SCHALE, noticing that she's taking a particularly long time because she's enjoying the hot water and also thinking up fantastical things about me, then eventually she dries herself off and comes back and I help brush her hair- it's a futile exercise since she will need to put the coat back on and eventually come back, but it will be enjoyable all the same. Her hair may smell like a library and not get the proper cleaning it should from the communal showers, but now and again, her hair would smell like a storybook ending. Straw-BEAR-ies!
