Today I want to talk about Erika and her hair. Erika has white, neck-length hair that feels suspiciously similar to Sena's description. Sena and Erika do have different shades of white, though, as Sena's hair is a slight cream, close to Mutsuki's, while Erika's is a bone white, close to Hina's. Erika and Sena are both contenders for the shortest hair in Gehenna, and while it looks like Sena wins in shortest hair, the braid she wears might give Erika the honor of having the least hair in Gehenna.
Erika's outfit is really close to a Gehenna mob, to the point where she stands out as the black sheep of Gehenna in how much she conforms to the norm. The main differences are in her wearing gloves, her jacket tied around her waist, and the tail she has, which has a notch on the sprite's lower half. She blends in to an almost worrisome degree, because she could easily be mistaken for another mob. On the flipside, it could be reasonably argued that if she does become playable, then there's a glimmer of hope for any senseis who want to raise mob students. For everyone's happiness, I will believe in Erika becoming a playable character!
Erika's gun is strange. Normally I don't talk about the guns, but this one feels so weird to me that I can't help but bring it up. Is leopard print fashionable with the youth these days? Truly a curious item. The gradient her barrel has from brown to black is a nice touch, though. It feels stylish. If that gradient were red and the leopard print was instead flames, it would be a really cool gun!
Her horns seem to be real, unlike Kirara's which looks a lot like she wears a horn headband. They're also rather unremarkable, though perhaps not as unremarkable as Sena's. The halo is a more interesting design, being split in thirds, with each segment having arrows pointing outwards. It's a very sociable halo, and implies she has a lot of friends.
Erika's beta sprite is in a more action-oriented pose as opposed to the relaxed and friendly modern Erika. The beta sprites seem to like doing this, but I think that makes the guns feel too impactful, as opposed to current poses being relaxed as though the lethal weapon to normal humans is a very normal thing. Her tail's notch is more pronounced, and also appears to be flipped? It's shorter, too. The gun is more faded in the colors provided, but if this is the same gun she has in the current rendition, then I am glad she shares some taste with me in having fire on a gun. She has a larger bust, but her horns are smaller. Her face, and head as a whole, feels a lot like Sena's, minus the eyes.
She takes care of her hair, yes, but she seems to brush it somewhat infrequently, likely to add some style, maybe to have that Gehenna-style chaos. It's a bit like Hina's hair in that regard, but set on a short head of hair. Since it seems to be the style she's going for, brushing it would be a bad idea! The smell is almost definitely Gehenna flowers, particularly those found near or on the volcano, assuming there are flowers in those regions.
