I've never played C&C at all, why does Kane look more like a cool dude than a great leader? Everytime I look at him, I fell like he's going to tell me "Yo nice going, catch ya later, I'll buy you a beer" through the intercom after I finish a mission.

Both were excellent games with top tier music and art. I had heard that C&C was based on Dune II (which I had not heard of until hearing that) but had no idea that it was done by the same team. They released the source code for generals and maybe some other ones i forget. The community made a nice patch for generals that includes 60fps, widescreen and higher camera support. also better support for mods and less crashes and that in multiplayer.
