Bad Mobile Games Anonymous 09/30/2025 (Tue) 01:47:15 Id: fcc748 No. 1801659
Just the absolute worst, cheapest ones you can find >Talking Horse >Talking Bee/Mommy Bee Pee >A Grand tough guy in Miami
Every single one of them.
Feels like a bit of a waste. Like you see one lazy asset flip from India you have kinda seen them all.
They probably churn them out with AI nowadays.

How about just mobile games in general? It seems like they all (or at least 99% of them) are shitty unity asset flips or casual Farmville/Facebook boomer-grade games. The only time there ever seemed to be actual games made for mobile platforms was way back when mobile phone/tablet gaming was still relatively new. Shit, I can only remember a few that aren't ports: Pocket Mortys, some tower defense sci fi game I got in a humble bundle, and a handful of Nitrome games. >>1804042 Not like there's much difference, even without AI you already had "rope hero" + random IP but a million times over. I'm curious what the breakdown of people making these is, mostly Indians, Russians, and Chinese, with some Brazilians too? I miss when "mobile games" referred to the DS and PSP...
>>1804194 Today it seems hilarious that every console company decided to drop out of the handheld market just because they thought phone games were going to take over
>>1801659 Honestly the only thing I enjoy about bad mobile games are the ones with the batshit insane advertisements.
>>1803307 /thread.
>>1801659 I think a thread about non-gacha minimal/no-internet-required good mobile games would be cool, there's not a lot to discuss about bad mobile games even though they are the majority
>>1804448 >non-gacha minimal/no-internet-required good mobile games would be cool I was thinking of asking for something like this a few days ago. I'm officially burnt out on gacha mobile games, but I still need a game to play when I need to kill 5-10 minutes or so throughout the work day.
>>1804478 I was in the same boat as you a few years ago but instead of 5-10 minutes it was more like 1-2 hours, so I killed that time with CYOA games I can't think of more arcadey moment to moment games except maybe for Plague Inc
>>1804448 from the ones i played, smash hit and triglav are really good first is a game about throwing balls at glass obstacles and second is an isometric rpg in vertical format
>>1804485 >I can't think of more arcadey moment to moment games except maybe for Plague Inc Have you tried Insurgent Inc and After Inc? If you enjoyed they necroa expansion you'll probably like the other two games they made.
>>1804835 >Insurgent Inc I assume you mean Rebel Inc? I actually played that on PC and it was pretty fun, wasn't aware it was on phones as well
>>1804868 >Rebel Inc Yeah that one. >I actually played that on PC and it was pretty fun, wasn't aware it was on phones as well Funny, i only played it on mobile and didn't realize it was on PC. But yeah if you liked Rebel definitely check out After Inc, it has similar mechanics but also has you managing resources to rebuild society (Britain) one community at time after the necroa virus almost wipes out humanity. base game/campaign is f2p but i paid $15 for all current and future expansions
>>1804194 >>1804485 It still pains me that phone games basically killed the flash industry, either directly or indirectly. Almost all the "apps" you see on storefronts would have just been a free play on Miniclip like 25 years ago. Interestingly I recall flash games starting the pay-to-win model with microtransactions and paid exclusives before smartphones really took off, which would influence gaming to a much worse degree shortly after. It's worrying how easily that short era seems to get forgotten by the general (normalfag) public.
>>1804194 >The only time there ever seemed to be actual games made for mobile platforms was way back when mobile phone/tablet gaming was still relatively new Yes and they all sucked anyway
