Gensokyo Massacre: Hoary Immortal edition Anonymous 10/18/2025 (Sat) 13:43:22 Id: 7776da No. 1859225
So what's all this then? Some crazy Jap made a porn game about raping girls in a dungeon; Fans added their favorite characters to the game. Some autist added all of the Touhou characters. Some other autist patched on a strategy wargame so that the Touhou characters are now commanders leading armies to conquer Gensokyo (and you can also rape them in a dungeon). The game is actually pretty good, and I'm gonna play it (again) with a few of my own patches. Let us generate a new character for the player...

Hi there. My name is Lincoln MacLoud, of the clan MacLoud. I was born in the highlands of Scotland by the shores of Loch Ness in the year 1648. Or some time around there, give or take a hundred years. It is hard to remember. And I am Immortal. At least until someone chops off my head. Then I will stop being Immortal really quickly. I mean, that will kill me. So all of us Immortals are trying to chop each others' heads off. Why are we trying to chop each other's heads off? I don't really know why. We just do. So as I was saying, I'm four hundred years old even if I look like I'm eleven and I live in a house with... Wait. That can't be right. Let me check. I'll be right back. ... Hello? Is there anyone here? ... I don't believe it. I have checked every room. I live in a house with NO girls. None at all. It's empty. There are supposed to be a lot of girls in this house! I need to find some girls to live in this house with me so that we can have personality conflicts, character development for each of them, and everything that goes into a story. or else I won't have a TV show!

Meanwhile, in the mansion of Eintei in the Bamboo Forest... Eirin: "Tewi, have you been drinking the Hourai Elixir of Immortality?" Tewi: (smacks lips) "Mmm, that was some good Hourai Elixir of Immortality. Uh... no, Miss Eirin!" Eirin: "Do you know what happens to people who drink the Hourai Elixir of Immortality?" Tewi: "Umm, you become immortal?" Eirin: "And you will have to fight other Immortals in sword duels to the death. Forever." Tewi: "That sounds both awesome and annoying." Eirin: "And do you know who else is Immortal?" Tewi: "Uh... Kaguya-hime?" Eirin draws her sword, and smirks. Tewi: "Oh." Eirin: "The only reason I do not take your head right now, little rabbit, is because you are too weak for me to gain any power from doing so." Eirin: "If you would slay some other immortals and take their power, then I might find it worth the effort to challenge you." Eirin: "For now, you are only my pet."

The presence of Immortals has attracted several other Immortals to Gensokyo. They will fight each other until the Quickening, when the [Skip to End] button appears and you can end the game quickly. There are many of them, but in the end, there can be only one. And of course that one is going to be Lincoln the main character or else we don't have a story. Lincoln enters Gensoyko. He does not know what he is doing there. It is a new place to him, so he Wanders in the region of Reimu’s Hakurei shrine. He meets Sumireko who tells him how to reach the Human Village. "It is past the Hakurei Shrine, and continue walking along the path." Lincoln is happy to have this information. If there is a whole village of humans, Lincoln can surely find girls there! And it is nearby. He could spend a few more hours exploring and still get there before nightfall. It is not long before Lincoln finds the Shrine. He sees Aunn standing guard outside the shrine, as still as a statue. He considers her as a potential addition to his House. He walks up to her and attempts to speak. “Uh, hi. Nice weather today.” That is about all that Lincoln nervously manages to say. Aunn does not respond. Lincoln walks away. He decides to practice his speech. He needs to talk more better. Sumireko meets Lincoln before he leaves for the Human Village. She carries a proposal from Reimu, the keeper of the shrine. When describing Lincoln, Sumireko had mentioned that he carries a sword. Reimu had suggested hiring him to help Aunn defend the shrine in the coming war. Sumireko offers Lincoln the job and a payment for his service. It is a small payment. Reimu is a poor shrinekeeper. Lincoln declines the offer, “Maybe later.” He wants to explore more, and he wants to see this Human Village. While beginning his journey to the Human Village, Lincoln is delighted to see a fairy flying through the air in a southerly direction toward a large oak tree that rises in the distance. Fairies are technically girls. If he could catch one, he could add her to the house. That is an idea to consider. Lincoln smiles and continues walking.
(49.38 KB 645x295 turn003keinehired.png)

Turn 3. Lincoln enters the Human Village and wanders around. He finds his way into a bookstore and speaks with Kosuzu, the teenage daughter of the store’s proprietor Lincoln sees her as a potential candidate for his house. There may not be room for many teenagers, but the house should have a few. Kosuzu likes Lincoln and offers him an open part-time position at the bookstore. The bookstore is not rich either, and they are offering barely more than the shrine did. Lincoln accepts the job. It will give him at least a small income while he is staying in the Human Village. Wandering the village further, Lincoln finds a fighting area. They are hosting matches right now, and anyone may sign up. Lincoln spends his day’s earnings at the bookstore to pay for the sign-up fee. He is eager to show off his battle skills that have been honed by four hundred years of surviving duels with master swordsmen. The arena’s managers see an eleven-year-old boy and pit him against a girl who they assume to be (and is) of a similar age. Flandre Scarlet moves faster than Lincoln can see and puts him on the dirt in three steps. The audience laughs. Lincoln sees that he has gotten rusty. He needs to train more. At his current skill level, he has no chance of surviving a duel with another Immortal. He also needs to find this Flandre girl and put her in his house! She is amazing. Meanwhile, one of the other Immortals in Gensokyo has entered Remilia’s service.
(295.86 KB 946x1623 turn004mokou.png)

WHOOM. Lincoln gasps at a sensation that he has not felt in decades. There is another Immortal here. In this village. Right behind him. He draws his sword and turns around. The other Immortal is ready for Lincoln. Her sword is drawn and she is in a well-practiced combat stance. The other Immortal is a white-haired woman who wears red suspenders, and has a large red-striped white bow in her hair. She looks like she knows how to fight. This will not go well for Lincoln. “Uh, how about a truce?” Lincoln suggests hopefully. The white-haired woman facing Lincoln lowers her sword. “Truce.” Lincoln is pleasantly surprised that she is sparing him. “Okay, good.” He takes a step back while returning his sword to its scabbard, and he is glad to see the white-haired Immortal woman resheathing her own sword. Lincoln supposes that he should at least introduce himself politely. “All right, uh, my name Is Lincoln MacLeod of the clan MacLeod. What is yours?” The white-haired woman introduces herself. “Mokou Fujiwara. You are not my primary target.” “Who is your primary target?” Lincoln asks out of curiosity. “Her name is Kaguya. She lives in the Bamboo Forest.” Mokou’s brows furrow in anger. “And I am going to kill her!” Lincoln is taken aback by that display of hostility. “Wow. What did she do to you?” Mokou sighs as she calms down. “It has been so long that I honestly no longer remember, but we Immortals… we never stop fighting.” Lincoln agrees nonchalantly. “Yeah, that’s how it its.” Mokou nods, and then offers Lincoln a word of warning. “There are others.” “Others?” Lincoln asks for detail. “Others what? Other Immortals?” Mokou tells Lincoln what she has sensed. “Many Immortals, other than yourself, have entered Gensokyo. It is a Gathering.” Lincoln understands. “Okay. That’s bad news. Maybe the two of us should team up against everyone else. We would stand a better chance." Mokou makes no promises. “Maybe.” This boy does not impress her. Mokou might stand a better chance fighting alone after taking what little power this boy has. Meanwhile, an Immortal has joined the forces of each of Eirin, Marisa, and Yukari.
(218.46 KB 1001x682 turn006arena.png)

Since there is another Immortal in town breathing down his neck, and since she looks like she is much stronger than him, Lincoln changes the focus of his training from Politics to Fighting. After practicing Fighting, he decides to give the fighting Arena a second try. When he is on the arena grounds with this sword in his hand, he wonders if he has made a mistake. His opponent is another Immortal. She is a blond woman in a light blue ballgown. She smirks and smiles at her childish opponent. “Ah, they have given me a gift. I will take your head and your power.” Lincoln feigns confidence. “Not if I take yours.” The tournament’s manager intervenes. “No killing the girls. You can rape them as much as you want, but no killing. In fact, take their swords.” The guards disarm Lincoln and his opponent. The announcer then introduces the fight. “This match is between Lincoln and Rosalina. Let’s see what they can do without their weapons.” Lincoln simply rushes Roaslina and tackles her, making the best use that he can of his small and weak body. It works. Rosalina could not move out of the way in time, He has planted her on her back. Rosalina tries to get up, but has no leverage. Lincoln is able to hold her down for the victory. The crowd in the arena (and on 8chan) eagerly calls for Lincoln to rape his defeated opponent. Disappointing them all, Lincoln has no interest in doing so. He simply stands up after his victory is announced. He takes his sword and his prize money and leaves quickly so that he is not tempted to do more. He has confirmed Mokou’s warning. Other Immortals are here. Meanwhile, Immortals have joined the forces of Gengetsu, Tenshi, Yukari, and Yuyuko. The two Immortals in Yukari’s service are not the type to conflict with each other. Dunkin MacDonut spends his days drinking coffee and eating doughnuts. Scrooge MacDuck spends his days counting his money. They can be in separate rooms, or even the same room, and never bother each other.
(39.00 KB 576x249 turn008_mokous_house.png)

Lincoln is summoned by a woman wearing a tall square hat. “Come with me," she directs him, "or I might forget that you ever existed.” Lincoln follows the curious lady to a house that sits alone south of the Village. Lincoln becomes to worry as he approaches the house. He can sense the Immortal inside. The woman leading him shows no fear, but she is not an Immortal. The door of the house opens, and soon the Immortal is outside. It is Mokou, and she carries a pair of wooden training swords. “I have brought him,” Keine reports to Mokou. Mokou looks Lincoln in the eye and steps toward him. She makes a grave announcement. “A war is starting. It may have already begun. If you want to live, I will teach you how to fight.” “Aren’t we Immortal? Lincoln asks the other Immortal. “To a degree,” Mokou says. “We can survive some fatal wounds, but If a commoner takes your head, it is over." Mokou throws one of the wooden swords toward Lincoln. “This is so that we both survive our training. If either of us draws steel, we stop immediately.”
Immortals have joined the forces of Eirin and Yuuka. Unlike the two Immortals in Yukari’s team, two of Eirin's Immortals have a history. Kurgan: “I have finally found you, Highlander! And I will take your head!” Conman MacFraud: “Uh, you got the wrong guy. I am totally not him.” Kurgan: “You look just like him. And you are wearing his clothes.” Conman MacFraud: “It is a costume. I picked up a Scottish costume at the store for a costume party.” Kurgan: “Oh. Well, you are still another Immortal, so I am going to kill you anyway.” Eirin: “Boys! The two of you will calm down or my understudy and I will take both of your heads.” Conman MacFraud: “Could she?” Kurgan: “She is… powerful.” The threat of Eirin’s sword has forced the archenemies Conman MacFraud and Kurgan to be allies! Eirin is using them, and she is not afraid of them. Eirin is so powerful that even Kurgan is afraid of her.

The Great Gensokyo War begins in earnest. Marisa and Alice arrive at the bookstore and tell everyone that they are taking over the place. Mokou may be Immortal, but she is vulnerable to magic. Mystia’s blindness entraps her, and she is held captive by the fairies. First blood spills as Byakuren kills Miko’s third officer Tojiko. (1) Mima’s forces kill Uwabami (2) before Shinki routs them. Immortals join the service of Aya, Eirin who seems to be collecting them, and Tenshi. Lincoln fights in the Arena once again and is defeated by the wolf lady Kagerou, giving him a 1-2 record so far. This is not a good start for somebody who intends to survive against Immortal master swordsmen who have been practicing their art for hundreds of years. Lincoln has been… avoiding practicing while avoiding them, and it shows. He needs to git gud. There is a three-way battle at the Kirisame Shop between Keine and forces sent by Cirno and Byakuren. We have our first Immortal kill! The over-confident Vandal Savage (3) was defeated by Remilia Scarlet and beheaded by Biglips MacJagger. Yukari defeats and captures an Immortals in Marisa’s service, preventing her own Immortal from killing him. Which is a glitch. I thought that I had added code to kill-on-capture, but it was not triggered. Five more Immortals join the field of battle, recruited by Byakuren, Eirin, Marisa, Shinmyoumaru, and Yukari Also killed this turn: Mayumi (4)
Lincoln recovers from his Arena combat injuries. His Immortal healing has cleaned up those claw and bite marks nicely. You can hardly tell that he was hurt. He returns to his part time job at the bookstore and has a talk with Kosuzu about the current state of things. He has heard the multiple armies marching through town yelling and fighting with each other. Kozusu does not mind that the witch from the Forest of Magic is taking over the town. She does not have a problem with it, and imagines that the witch might be a better rulers than the troublesome fairies and monsters that are also invading. Lincoln asks Kosuzu if the witch is an old woman or a cute girl. Kosuzu is disappointed. “I mean, is she a little girl witch? I am looking for little girls.” Kosuzu is even more disappointed. While Lincoln is trying to explain, the door opens and Keine enters the bookstore. Lincoln speaks to her apologetically. “Oh, hi. Yeah, I was going to do my training, but I overdid it and got hurt. I will go see Mokou after my shift.” Keine shakes her head and then explains that Mokou is no longer around the Human Village. Lincoln is shocked. “Did somebody get her?” He knows that hostile Immortals are prowling around. Keine does not know. Mokou was did not return from her patrol of the west end of the village, from where the fairies have invaded. Lincoln: “Well then, I will train on my own,” Keine: “You will train with me.” Lincoln’s shift eventually ends. He says his goodbyes to Kosuzu. “Well, I’m off to go train with Keine. Wait. Do you know where I can find her? I don’t know where she lives.” Kosuzu gives Lincoln directions, and then a hug, and then a kiss on the lips. The surprised Lincoln stammers as the blushing Kosuzu pulls away. “Uh, thanks, I guess. I’ll be off then. I’ll be getting out of here quickly.” Lincoln departs.

(133.95 KB 782x490 turn010keinemystia.png)

After watching Lincoln depart, Kosuzu sighs. She closes the store, then goes back to her room and masturbates vigorously while thinking about this boy who has no sexual interest in her. She really does. It is in the game. After soaking the mattress, she lies back and sighs. “Oh, Lincoln. Why do I feel this way about you?” Lincoln’s training with Keine is uneventful. She is a scholar, not a fighter, but she still outmatches him. She is also stronger than she appears to be. Lincoln does not know that she is not human. Lincoln practices on his own afterward until his strength is exhausted. Keine goes out on patrol, and Mystia draws her into the same trap that snared Mokou. If it were not for the fact that Keine is a faction leader who cannot be killed or captured, she would be in serious trouble. Her faction is in serious trouble since she is losing her army. Yuugi has conquered Satori’s faction in the northern district of Old Hell. Remilia conquers Yuuki’a last territory and recruits the Immortal in her service. Kanako kills the developer’s waifu Seija (5) while taking the strategically significant Shining Needle Castle in the southwest corner of the map. Four more Immortals join the battle, serving under Byakuren, Eirin, Marisa, and Yuyuko,

Lincoln is attacked by the Immortal Lazarus Long who entered the Human Village with the forest witch Marisa’s forces. Lincoln loses the duel and barely escapes with his life. Then Eirin shows up, and Lincoln barely escapes with his life again! There is an impromptu concert at Scarlet Devil Manor! Remilia and Hong Meiling join Biglips MacJagger in singing Sympathy for the (Scarlet) Devil and Gimme Shelter (“War, children”). This attracts the fairies from the Fairy Forest. Remilia grabs the slowest-moving fairy Daiyousei and eats her! (6) That is one way to hunt for food.

Lincoln decides to get out of the hostile Immortal infested Human Village while the getting out is good. He decides to first make some extra pocket money by fighting in the Arena before he leaves. He asks for an easier opponent because he is not that good. The Arena management agrees. They provide him with Shuzuha Aki of the autumn leaves who is technically a goddess but is not strong at all. She is more comparable to a nature spirit, or a friendly but weak youkai. Shizuha kicks Lincoln’s ass and makes the fight look easy. Lincoln is now 1-3 and is out his entry fee. The defeated and bruised Lincoln returns to the bookstore to hand in his resignation. “And if you want to give me another hug and a kiss, this might be your last chance to do it so I don’t mind.” Kosuzu does so, a little too eagerly for Lincoln’s liking. When his shift is over, Lincoln [Quit]s his Job. There are no kills this turn, but, Shikieiki takes Keiki’s last territory. Marisa’s rump forces take Keine’s last territory, so Lincoln got out at the right time. Marisa marches through the Human Village to the lands south of it and challenges Eirin who she finds there. The powerful Eirin accepts the challenge, but did not account for Marisa’s companions or for Marisa’s firepower. The witch of the forest is stronger than she looks. The same squad that defeated Keine now goes west and takes Cirno’s last territory. Remilia shows up, chases them out, and claims the land for herself. Shinki takes Sariel’s last city in Makai. Yorihime captures one of Tenshi’s Immortals. Kanako fights off Remilia’s attempt to take Shining Needle, killing Meira. (7)

WHOOM. That sensation again. Lincoln draws his sword and searches the surroundings for the Immortal threat. He sees her. It is Mokou. Her sword remains sheathed, and she is accompanied by Keine. Keine speaks for both of them. “Our house has fallen. Should we see each other again, I would prefer it to be on friendly terms.” As the two of them depart, Mokou experiences a strange and unfamiliar sensation. She actually cares for that boy who should be her Immortal enemy. Lincoln walks away in a different direction, toward the Manor where he had been told that the powerful and fearsome girl Flandre lived. On the way there, he hears a man singing a soulful tune. The voice is in the direction that he is heading. He walks towards the sound... WHOOM. Shit. It is another Immortal. “Did I just say shit? Shit. I shouldn’t say ‘shit’. I mean I shouldn’t curse.” The big-lipped singer laughs. “You can curse all you goddamn want, boy. Now the important question is, do you have any intention of drawing that sword or can we do without the fighting and sing some rock and roll?” Lincoln eagerly agrees not to duel another Immortal to the death in his current condition. The other Immortal makes him an offer. “The great powers are collecting us and using us as soldiers since we can die and get back up the next day. I was hired by Remilia the Scarlet Devil. She is a vampire. A different kind of Immortal.” Lincoln was actually on his way to her Manor! He eagerly accepts MacJagger’s offer to work for Remilia. Meanwhile, the unlikely Koakuma leads an assault on Kanako’s main force at Shining Needle Castle. With the help of two Immortals, she defeats Kanako and kills Suwako (8) before the castle’s defenders run her off. They kill one of her Immortal allies (9) but he will recover. Fighting for Reimu, Kasen Ibaraki tries to ambush the battle-weakened Okina. Okina fries her to a crisp. (10) Reimu’s other forces take Yumemi’s last territory. Tenshi kills Yorihime’s sister Toyohime (11) in a fight for the Moon.

Remilia’s household includes her sister Flandre, her maid Sakuya, her house mage Patchouli, her guard Hong Meiling, and her librarian Koakuma. She has also hired on Doremy and Orange, and is saving Eternity Larva for a snack when she gets hungry. Remilia has also hired two Immortals, the aforementioned Biglips MacJagger and the not-very-bright Dumfuc MacClod. And now with Lincoln, she has three. From a second-floor window, Lincoln can see Keine and Mokou walking a nearby road. He runs out to greet them. “Hey! You! Get in here!” Keine declines his offer to join Remilia, and the two wander onward. Lincoln spars with MacJagger, the Immortal who had hired him. MacJagger spends more time practicing music than swordfighting. His technique is poor. He is a Street Fighting Man, not a dueler. Lincoln can keep up with him, and this improves his confidence. He feels good enough that he decides to fight in the Arena again! The Arena management pits Lincoln against Yuuka. Lincoln does not stand a chance. The match ends quickly. His record in the Arena is now 1-4, and Lincoln will not be able to participate in the current round of conflict. Remilia’s territory has expanded to the Sun Fields south of the Manor and to the Valley below the Mountain to the north. The powerful Marisa has taken the Human Village and borders her to the East. Kanako holds Shining Needle. Remilia marches with two armies to change that. The castle is poorly defended, so she claims it. The tengu Aya comes down from the Mountain and claims Remilia’s lands in the valley, while Marisa’s forces encroach upon the unguarded east. After losing to Marisa, Eirin is backed up into one plot of land in the eastern Bamboo Forest. Shinmyoumaru has taken Eintei and most of the forest. To the east, Genegetsu has expanded out of Mugenkan and taken the Hakurei Shrine and the Residential Area of the Village. Her faction color is similar to Marisa’s so it is easy to mistake the two of them. I changed it to a darker shade of yellow. Yukari defeats one of Byakuren’s weaker units and kills Unzan. (12) Keine parts ways with Mokou and joins Yukari. I will take a break from updating for a few hours.
(252.63 KB 830x703 turn016deadfish.png)

Being an outsider to Remilia's squad and a newbie, Lincoln meets with the other outsider newbies. Doremy and Orange are a little too old to be girls in the MacLeod House. Eternity Larva is too stupid, but her childish idiocy might be entertaining. Actually, that is a positive. Lincoln later visits with some of Remilia’s other hangers-on, the gate guard and the two in the library. None of them are impressed with Lincoln, and he is not impressed with them either. Remilia decides she wants a fish dinner, so MacJagger skewers Wakasagihime. (13) Benben is captured and recruited. Marisa takes a large and imposing army into the Fairy Forest. Remilia is not going to be able to stop them from taking the Manor should they attack. In the region of New Hell, Saki takes Shikieiki’s last city. Yorihime invades Makai from the Moon and takes Shinki’s last city. Elsewhere, Yuyukko’s forces take Okina’s last territory. Yuugi kills Nue (14) and Orin starts a new country in Human Village. It does not last long.

I only vaguely remember this because you could have gay sex with your random guys and make the 2hu girls fart on your face. How do you actually play it? I never figured that part out.

> How do you actually play it? I never figured that part out. https://wiki.eragames.rip/index.php/Getting_Started https://wiki.eragames.rip/index.php/Common_Issues You will probably need to install a few fonts and you might need to set your locale to Japanese. I seem to get by without having to do that. If you want to hack the game, you will need to save your text files as BOM CRLF or else the program will misread the Japanese characters and produce syntax errors. Back to the story... Lincoln goes back to the Arena and skillfully defeats the demon warrior Sara. He is shaking off his decades of rust. He is getting better. Lincoln talks to the manor's maid Sakuya and asks about the girl that he fought in the Arena so many weeks ago. Does she live here, and can he see her? Sakuya gives Lincoln several opportunities to change his mind, but Lincoln is determined to see this girl again. Marisa is attacking Scarlet Devil Manor with everything she has while Remilia’s army is out! Lincoln walks out from the manor to negotiate... “Uh, could you like, not attack us?” To his surprise, Marisa agrees to a ceasefire. Sakuya then takes Flandre and Lincoln to invade Mugenkan. Lincoln is glad to be working together with Flandre rather than on the opposing side of her. He is slightly disappointed that they have not encountered any enemies to fight together. Elsewhere, Yorihime kills Mamizou.(14) Eirin has retaken Eintei and is reclaiming her empire from Shinmyoumaru. She recruits Konngara who is as great a warrior as any of her Immortals. After fighting alongside Flandre, Lincoln noticed that she has no concept of Strategy. Neither does he, really, but Flandre charges straight at anything that she perceives to be the enemy. Lincoln attempts to talk to Flandre about better ways to fight. On their return to the Scarlet Devil Manor, Lincoln and Flandre reclaim Misty Lake from Aya and are disappointed that they met no opposition and so had no opportunity to test what few new ideas they had. I will take another break.

WTFingF. Keiki has walked into the Scarlet Devil manor and claimed it for herself! Nobody consulted Remilia or her army on this matter. Her armies were out in the field marching toward distant targets when she received the news. Remilia will not stand for this. “Immortals, attack." Remilia is unprepared. Keiki summons Mayumi-clones and gets the better of her force. Remilia's other expeditions have different results. Kanako and Sanae beat the hell out of Koakuma’s expedition to the Valley below the Mountain. Led by Sakuya, Lincoln and Flandre retake Shining Needle with no problems. Elsewhere, Junko defeats Tenshi’s army in a fight for the Lunar Capital and captures her third officer Shion. Yorihime loses Sagume (16) to Saki and Rei’sen (17) to the Immortal Dorian Gray who fights for Yuyuko. Kanako retakes Shining Needle. Mokou will never slay Kaguya because another Immortal got to her first.(17) It was The Immortal from the game The Immortal. Fighting for Marisa, the Immortal R’as le Bol kills SinGyoku.(18) The Prismriver Sisters repel Aya’s expedition to the Stairs and kill Hatate (19) and one of the reviving Immortals.(20) Byakuren loses her last city, and the wandering Mima joins Tenshi. Sakuya, Flandre, and Lincoln join the fight to reclaim the Scarlet Devil Manor from Keiki! Keiki destroys them. It was a total failure. Since the captured Manor is up for grabs, Marisa’s sends a force to join in the attack. That force is recalled to fight elsewhere before it reaches the Manor. Mokou (21) dies in battle against Reimu but she will get better. Reimu takes the last of Orin’s cities, then fights off an assault by Marisa and captures R’as le Bol.

While retreating from the failed attempt to reclaim the Manor, Lincoln sees a little girl peeping at him while hiding inside a bucket. Her age, cuteness, and curious behavior would be perfect for his house! Maybe not perfect, but she is fairly close to what he is looking for. He invites her to join him. Kisume is now part of Remilia’s force. Remilia and Keiki fight to a standstill. Doremy Sweet takes Orange and Kisume to fight Keiki. They provide the final push that is needed to defeat her and reclaim the Manor lobby. Keiki retreats to the Library. Kanako and Shinmyoumaru descend upon the abandoned Shining Needle Castle while Remilia’s armies are distracted, devastated, and unable to defend it. Yuugi kills Rikako. (21) Turn 26. Remilia thanks Doremy for her help, then takes her forces to the Library with Hong Meiling who was supposed to be guarding the place to ensure that this did not happen, and Biglips MacJagger. Keiki is prepared for them. They have a difficult time. Saki is now able to field an army of 19,000. This is an unstoppable number at the beginning of the game, a respectable number in midgame, and about average for an army in endgame. Remilia no longer has this many soldiers in all of her armies combined. Reimu is invading the Great Mausoleum to fight Miko. She captures and recruits Miko’s second officer Futo. Miko loses Satori (22) to a city’s defenders with no enemy officers present. Turn 27. Kanako and Sanae invade Remilia’s lands from the western path to the Mountain and from the southwestern hardpoint of Shining Needle Castle. Kanako takes the Manor’s neighboring Misty Lake without opposition. Doremy engages and stops the force attacking from the southwest. Lincoln and Flandre attempt to reclaim the Library but are crushed by Keiki’s allies. Keiki pushes Remilia’s forces out of the Library and retakes the Manor. Eirin pushes back Remilia’s entry into the Bamboo Forest. Gengetsu begins to reclaim Mugenkan, further weakening Remilia’s empire. Yuugi kills Kotohime. (23) The Prismriver Sisters kill Moon Guard (24) while taking the last of Yorihime’s cities. Kanako invades the manor and kills Keiki’s ally Shikieiki.(25)
The countryless Yorihime joins the soon-to-be countryless Remilia. Remilia would have to fight through two empires to get her house back, and she lacks the soldiers to do it. She gathers her forces and finds that she can scramble barely 500 soldiers. She brings her sister Flandre along with them to put down the invasion of Mugenkan, which is not a serious invasion but only an attempt by Gengetsu to see if the land is abandoned. There is a second reason to bring her sister, other than her fighting prowess. If the Manor is lost, Mugenkan will be the seat of her empire. Flandre asks her sister a question on the way to the battle. Will Lincoln be joining us? She misses him, and has fallen in Love. Lincoln is demonstrating his skills in the Arena where he defeats the tall and powerful Yuugi! The audience is astonished. Nobody expected that. Not from him. “Well, it looks like I’ve gotten good,” Lincoln understates his performance. At Flandre’s request, Remilia summons Lincon MacLeod to Mugenkan. This is Lincoln’s first meeting with the Scarlet Devil. “You’re not quite as... tall as I was expecting," he says rudely. Remilia looks into his eyes and asks him a question. “Mister Macleod... What, exactly, are your intentions with my sister Flandre?” Lincoln answers honestly. “Well, I intend to put her in my house.” Remilia relaxes slightly, and she sighs in resignation. “Well, that is the usual desire of a suitor, although it is not usually said so directly.’ Lincoln explains his meaning. He has a TV show. It is a sitcom about Lincoln living as the only boy in a house full of girls, but all of the girls quit the show or they got sick or they could not be found. So he needs to find a new group of girls. Flandre would be perfect to be one of them. Remilia is stunned to learn that this is the boy's interest in Flandre. “Will you be giving her back when you are done?” “Oh, sure,” Lincoln answers, “if I can find my way back here.” Gensokyo was pretty hard to find. The land is hidden by illusion and is somewhat protected by a magic barrier that is down for maintenance a lot more often than it should be. Elsewhere, Yuugi takes Yukari’s last city. Okina creates a new country in the Forest of Magic. The wandering Rika joins Remilia’s forces.
Remilia, Flandre and Lincoln return to the Scarlet Devil’s lands along the southern path to the Sun Fields. Flandre and Lincoln are holding hands. They should have stayed. Behind them, Gengetsu sends a larger force into Mugenkan. Flandre hears the sound of their marching and leaves Lincoln's side to go fight them herself! “Flandre, wait!” Lincoln and Remilia gather some forces and return to Mugenkan to save Flandre who is trying to fight Gengetsu’s second army all by herself. Everybody comes once Remilia sounded the alarm, except for Doremy’s unit that was too far away to contact immediately.. Meiling, Sakuya, Patchouli, MacJagger, Benben, and Eternity Larva all rush by Remilia to “scout ahead” before Remilia has organized a proper combat unit. They engage and run off Gengetsu’s advance before Remilia’s force arrives. Yumeko is captured and switches sides. Shortly after this victory, the Scarlet Devil returns to her Manor. Keiki is still hiding out in the Library, but no one stopped her on the journey home. Tenshi drives Doremy’s unit from Shining Needle. Tewi is captured by Reimu’s forces. Reimu takes Gengetsu’s last territory. Yuugi kills Lyrica Prismriver (24) which breaks up the band.
Remilia’s still-weak forces counter a weak invasion by Marisa’s forces. Marisa is not sending her best. She is simply challenging Remilia for the land. Marisa’s own hold on the Forest and Human Village have been broken by Okina, who now controls most of both regions. Reimu defeats Okina’s personal army and kills her weak officer Unshou. (25) Reimu also invades the Mugenkan district, aiming to take it from Remilia. She also sends the Oak Tree’s fairies to take Eintei the capital of the Bamboo Forest from Eirin. Meanwhile in Hell, Yachie revolts against Saki.

Finally some screenshots. There was a ten turn drought. Now serving in Reimu’s forces, Lincoln’s admirer Kosuzu remembers him and speaks of him in glowing terms. Remilia forms a temporary alliance with Eirin against common enemies. Marisa and Alice challenge Remilia and Lincoln, and are losing! The strategist from the Moon, Yorihime, directs an assault before Marisa’s magic is prepared, and Marisa takes heavy damage. Reimu captures all of Mugenkan from Remilia while the vampire’s armies are distracted. Flandre scores a kill, taking out Ringo. (26) Kanako reclaimed the Moriya Shrine with only five soldiers against over 1,000. Kurgan killed Luna Child. (27) Now fighting for Tenshi, Shinki and Mima help Iku Nagai take down one of the Immortals, Lionel Richie Ryan. (28) He will get better. Yuuka killed the wolf lady Kagerou. (29) Reading the map: The red in the southwest is Remilia. The yellow to her right is Marisa. The blue in the Library is Keiki, the blue in the Bamboo Forest is Eirin. Okina is the gray in the middle of the map. The gray on the bottom running from Eintei through Hakurei is Reimu. The darker blue up top is Tenshi, the purple is Saki, the orange is Miko.
Marisa and Alice reorganize their battle plans and win a surprise victory against Remilia. The vampire lord and her Immortal ally Lincoln are forced to retreat. Lincoln: “Wait. I am immortal. Why am I being forced to retreat?” Remilia: “If your immortality is anything like mine, being vaporized will still kill you.” Lincoln: “Oh, yeah. Then retreating is a good idea.” Flandre attacks Marisa’s weakened force and succeeds where her sister failed, pushing Marisa out of the Fairy Forest. Sakuya and Hong Meiling decide to deal with the Keiki problem in the Library. They fail, but deal a little damage. Miko wipes out Reimu’s main army. Tenshi captures Kanako’s last territory. Aya’s empire also falls to Yachie who attacked from the Path of Liminality, leaving Tenshi in control of most of the Mountain. Kurgan kills Genjii the bearded turtle. (30)

Lincoln is stuck in a five-turn cooldown after his retreat and a special event. That Lunar Training with Yorihime really kicked his ass. ... but Lincoln is not too hurt to fight in the Arena! (It’s a game glitch.) He defeats Reimu using his crutches as weapons, then goes home to rest in bed. With Lincoln out of action, Remilia takes the other Immortal, MacJagger, to evict Keiki from the Library. Keiki resists, and the battle continues. Gengetsu killed Tokiko. (31) I forgot to record who she is fighting for, but I think she was with Tenshi. The powerful combination of Okina and Utsuho annihilated Pink Mai (32). Patchouli has nothing to do since the Library is a battleground, so she goes out to battle and captures Eintei with the help of Benben and Eternity Larva. Flandre leads another expedition into the Bamboo Forest, taking land claimed by Reimu. Reimu retaliates by taking the Sun Fields at the southern edge of Remilia’s lands. Remilia successfully evicts Keiki! The Library is once again a safe place to read books. Shinymoumaru’s forces combine their efforts to defeat Okina’s army in the Human Village. Yuugi is deploying the largest army seen so far, 25,000 soldiers. She takes the Moriya Shrine and dares Tenshi to fight for it. Junko attacks Gengetsu’s unit and nearly wipes it out, but takes heavy damage herself. and that is the end of Turn 40.
(315.76 KB 920x761 turn041mokou.png)

(580.90 KB 922x1393 turn042_miko.png)

Remilia orders an invasion of the Human Village. Patchouli defeats Shinmyoumaru’s army there and kills Sekibanki. (33) Meanwhile, Reimu’s forces march up from the south toward the heart of Remilia's empire, and Eirin reclaims Eintei while Remilia’s forces are elsewhere. Tenshi challenges Junko’s weakened army and is defeated. Mokou slays The Immortal from The Immortal and takes his power! (34) It was a two-on-one fight as Mokou had the help of Rosalina, but Mokou delivered the final strike. Miko forcefully joins the battle in the Human Village, nearly wiping out Sakuya’s unit and priming them for defeat by Mokou who kills Hong Meiling. (35) While most of Remilia’s forces focus on the Human Village, Flandre leads an expedition to capture Shining Needle Castle again. Three of Eirin’s Immortals challenge three of Gensokyo’s best and get creamed. Ran, Keine, and Shinki easily defeat them and score a kill of Conman MacFraud (36) while dealing severe injuries to Jack Harkness. His companion Boderick Wowbagger ridicules him all the way back to camp. And I forgot to save a screenshot.
Turns 43-47. Junko and Remilia form a Coalition against Reimu. Remilia’s rump forces get off their rumps and begin reclaiming her land from Reimu, then bill the Coalition for their service. Lincoln is healthy now. Hearing that Flandre is under attack by Reimu, Lincoln heads out to join her. Reimu engages Flandre and they trade heavy damage. Lincoln is a little unsure about fighting Reimu and Sumireko who had offered him a safe place to stay when he had first entered Gensokyo but he is too busy fighting to care about that right now. Tenshi takes Junko’s last city and reclaims Heaven. It looks like Yuugi now has the Mountain below. Lincoln, Flandre, and Yumeko train between sorties It is not enough, or it made them too tired. Reimu deals heavy damage to them and they will need to retreat. Yuugi sends her gigantic army to claim Shining Needle Castle for herself. Shinmyoumaru somehow invades and takes the Scarlet Devil Manor despite being nowhere near it. She must have had an alliance with someone wh had nearby territory. Remilia's forces retake Mugenkan, considering that the Manor can be reclaimed later. The motley crew of Yukari, Hecatia, and Sanae are now fighting for Miko. They defeat one of Reimu’s armies and kill Futo (39) who had once been Miko's first officer. Okina kills Junko (40) in a battle of Gensokyo’s two most powerful entities Remilia has used the alliances of the Coalition against Reimu to claim some territory on the Stairs. Her forces defend it against a weak attack by Saki, but she soon loses it. Her armies have other priorities, like getting back her house. Saki knocks out Yoshika and one of Reimu’s Immorals. (42) Both of them will recover from dying. Yuugi fights Tenshi's forces on the Mountain and kills Iku Nagai. (43)
(139.55 KB 738x513 turn051mapend.png)

Turn 48. Remilia heads out to retake Shining Needle Castle again, but is stalled by one of Eirin’s armies. Remilia rolls over them, killing VIVIT (44) and capturing Komachi, who Remilia eats (45) before continuing on to the castle. Patchy retakes the Scarlet Devil Manor, while Lincoln and Flandre fight in the Human Village. Kanako is fighting for Miko now, and kills Hina. (46) Lincoln speaks to Flandre as they look over their captured corner of the Human Village. “Now that we are in the Human Village, do you want to go back to my original plan of capturing girls and taking them back to my house? We could say that we are rescuing them from the war.” Flandre grins... Remilia soon receives a letter from her sister. It tells her that Flandre and Lincoln will be taking over command of the Human Village and will manage the eastern front of the war, and anything else that they conquer. Remilia accepts that her sister has run off with the boy she is crushing on and may not return for a very long time. Lincoln has revolted and claimed that one corner of the Human Village for his new empire! He recruits the strategist from the Moon, Yorihime, since he does not trust himself or Flandre to plan out a war strategy. He is also joined by bucket girl Kisume, Benben, Doremy Sweet, and Eternity Larva. It is impossible to pick a faction color that does not conflict with the neighbors on the map, so Lincoln is white for now. Lincoln uses his savings to raise an army of 200,000 soldiers, giving him nearly four times as many as Miko or Remliawho have the next largest armies at 55,000 in total. They begin to fan out into the Human Village. Shinymoumaru’s forces have taken the Human Fields west of the village from Remilia, so Lincoln claims them as well. For one thing, they are the Human Fields, not the Vampire Fields. Even if they are Flandre’s now. Remilia reclaims the Library from Shimmy. Yuugi kills one of the Immortals (47) but he will be back. In a case of overkill, Yukari, Hecatia, and Sanae kill Sunny Milk (48) before Ibaraki’s Arm revolts against Miko and throws Yukari and Hecatia in jail. Tewi is back with Eirin and is seen fighting after a long absence. Or rather, she is seen running away. Tewi will do that. Remilia retakes Shining Needle to re-secure her hold on the territories that are west of the Village and Bamboo Forest. With her own sister holding the eastern border, she is free to expand in other directions. If Lincoln wants to capture some girls, he needs to actually capture them. So far his armies have not encountered any, but as a matter of planning ahead for the future, he trains in a couple of Capture skills. By the end of turn 51 Lincoln has taken over the whole Human Village without any opposition. Nice. Now the question is, where to attack next? Okina is north in the Forest of Magic, there is the Myouren shrine, there is Reimu’s territory that might not be Reimu’s territory anymore, (and it is not. Miko owns it) and Eirin seems to control the Bamboo Forest and the plains east of it with a whole gang of Immortals that Lincoln does not feel comfortable fighting yet. This is a good point to stop for now.
Very nice for you to show the game, but didn't explain shit about it.

We have had only three permanent Immortal deaths in 50 turns. There is supposed to be a random chance of IMMORTAL_SLAY being called when an Immortal is captured by a side that includes another immortal, but this branch has not been triggered yet. OTOH, If the code was triggered, I may not have been able to tell the difference from an ordinary kill. Another option to increase the number of kills is just raise the chance of death from Medium to High. Let’s do it. The war promises to enter a particularly brutal phase... (kills set to High) Turn 52. Remilia sends word to her sister Flandre that she plans to invade the Bamboo Forest. She trusts that her Immortals can defeat Eirin’s Immortals. That includes Lincoln. “Well, we have our orders.” Lincoln's army is split into two. Yorihime attacks Eirin’s northern outpost at the Myouren Shrine, while Lincoln leads Flandre to the familiar home of Mokou south of the Human Village where he had once trained under the better Immortal for one day before Mokou was captured. Stationed at Myouren, Tewi sees Yorihime’s large force approaching and bugs bunnies the hell out of there. (One of her special skills is to retreat at the sight of a larger army.) Her squad might be Immortals, but they are not fighting all of that. Remilia is actually sending the bulk of her forces into the Mountain. Tenshi’s powerhouse team of Ran Yakumo, Keine, and Shinki engages Remilia! Remilia is confident that her numbers will bring her victory, but she is unlikely to have those numbers after her victory. Koakuma is leading a smaller squad into the Bamboo Forest from the west. They will rely upon Flandre and Lincoln squeezing Eirin from the east to have any chance of success. Meanwhile, Yachie invades the forest of Magic and takes land from Okina, who is currently crushing Yuyuko’s forces on her way into Old Hell in the north. Okina could attack the Human Village while Lincoln is not defending it, but she chooses not to. Lily White kills the Immortal Dio from Jojo. (49) It’s springtime, motherfucker! Yuugi’s impressive streak of victories is ended by Marisa Kirisame who is now fighting for Tenshi. She defeats Yuugi and kills Sariel. (50)
(308.69 KB 935x718 turn053remilia.png)

While their army is camped outside. Flandre and Lincoln sleep in Mokou’s bed. Flandre lovingly traces a finger across Lincoln’s chest. “We are in bed together like a married couple.” Lincoln does not see it the way that she does. “Yeah. It is big enough for the both of us.” Flandre: “Do you want to play house? As husband and wife? In bed?” Lincoln: “No, not really. I just want to get a good rest before the fighting tomorrow.” Flandre climbs up onto Lincoln and straddles his body. She removes her nightclothes and tosses them aside, then leans forward and kisses Lincoln on the forehead, cheek, and lips. Lincoln: “What are you doing?” “Kissing my husband,” Flandre answers with a smile. She then slides back and begins removing Lincoln’s underwear. Lincoln: “Miss Flandre, has something gotten into you?” Flandre: “Nothing has gotten into me in a hundred years. Now sit back and enjoy the ride.” Lincoln lies back and allows Flandre to do what she wants. The exhausted vampire then falls on top of Lincoln and immediately goes into a deep sleep. Lincoln puts his arms around her and joins her. The war resumes in the morning with Turn 53. Yorihime has found Shinmyoumaru’s camp! The inchling has escaped to the lower Stairs region north of Myouren Shrine. Shimmy is hostile, so Yorihime attacks this target of opportunity. Lincoln’s forces advancing into the Bamboo Forest with no opposition. Kisume scouts to the east (imagine her bucket hopping along the road) and sees that Eirin’s army is fighting Miko in the Hakurei region. They are gone by the time that anyone else can go to confirm the report. Tewi, Kurgan, and Alice Margatroid team up to take down Sanae (51) BUT Sanae is revived when the player accidetanlly closes the game in the middle of the round and has to start over. The game will usually produce the same results when the same actions are repeated, but I must have done something different and not noticed that Sanae is still alive until seeing her pop up later and remembering that she was supposed to be dead. I will still count the kill. Rerunning the round. Remilia is in trouble, so she calls on Koakuma’s unit to move from the Bamboo Forest to the Mountain to support her. They get wiped out by their much better opponents, but they deal a little bit of damage. This will give Remilia a better chance. It gives Remilia more than a better chance. Remilia crushes them. It is not a close fight. Okina kills Lunasa Prismriver. (52) The fairly weak team of Elis, Yuki, and Yamame defeats Chiyuri and kills her companions Lily Black and Goliath Doll. (54) Continuing with Turn 54. Yorihime finishes off the last of Shinmyoumaru’s forces while Lincoln and Flandre head deep into the Bamboo Forest and take Eintei. Remilia kills Ran Yakumo. (55) Saki kills Youmu Konpaku (56) so we don’t get to have any snarky remarks about how she would have been a better Immortal since she has the sword and training already. Yuugi’s formerly impressive army is down to 1,000. I never saw what had happened to the great army of 25,000 before it was worn down to the smaller squad that Marisa took it out. Yuugi now lacks the resources to build something more. Elis’s team kills (temporarily) another Immortal. (57) Conman MacFraud kills the echo puppy Kyouko. (58) Reimu takes Miko’s last territory, killing Kanako and Byakuren (60) and ordering the execution of prisoners Lily White, Seiga, and Jo’on. (63) That was brutal.

Mi casa, Kogasa. Kisume meets the weird girl with the weird demon umbrella and recruits her. They head towards Hakurei together. Aunn, the guardian of Hakurei, holds them off at the Oak Tree south of the shrine. Yorihime rejoins Lincoln and Flandre in advancing into the Bamboo Forest while Eirin’s forces attack Remilia at Shining Needle and Mugenkan. Eirin is playing pure offense and is not defending her lands at all. Yachie has taken the Forest of Magic from Okina, and has no intention of invading the Human Village at this time. Kurgan brutally murders an entire squad of Reimu’s forces, killing Narumi, Nitori, and Star Sapphire. (66) Tewi is learning from him. Okina kills the last Prismriver Sister Merlin along with Myon and the Immortal Ronald MacDonald. (69) Ronald will get back up. The others won’t. Turn 56. Yorihime takes the last of the Bamboo Forest. It was completely undefended. Lincoln comes to Kogasa’s rescue and captures Aunn! Yuyuko takes the last of Yuugi’s territories. Turn 57. Lincoln fights in the Arena and loses to Remilia. Flandre laughs at him. Yorihime begins an assault on Hakurei Shrine while Kisume and Kogasa scout and conquer the outskirts. Saki kills Eika and Jack Harkness. (71) Damn it, I wanted Eika in Lincoln’s house. We have our fourth Immortal kill as Dumfuc MacClod slays Tewi Inaba! (72)
I just came to say your thread is really neat. Its difficult to read someone's play through of repeatable game with random textual events. If i'd play i'l get same exact experience and me reading you.
(136.40 KB 722x519 turn060mapend.png)

Yorihime kills Rin Satsuki (73) while claiming the Hakurei Shrine for Lincoln. Saki kills Clownpiece. (74) Tenshi's growing empire moves down from the Moon into the northeast corner of Hakurei, and from the Mountain to the map’s southwest corner of Shining Needle. Reimu attacks Lincoln’s holdings at the Cemetary behind Myouren Shrine. Lincoln counters them, killing Rumia. (75) This is Lincoln’s first kill in the game. He watches the energetic Suika run away, and considers improving his capturing skill further. Remilia fights up the Mountain and takes Moriya Shrine from Tenshi. Yukari kills Utsuho and Count St. Germain (77) With Marisa’s help, Tenshi takes Okina’s last territory. Okina will join Tenshi, greatly improving an already powerful force. Lincoln is injured by Sakuya in the Arena, so Flandre continues the counterattack against Reimu without him. She traces the attacking force to the Great Mausoleum and finds it unguarded. Eirin has taken the Mugenkan district from Remilia. Yorihime prepares an expedition to attack that region. Remilia's forces do poorly against Tenshi's. Marisa defeats Patchouli in a battle of mages. Tenshi kills Rika.(78) Mokou slays the Immortal Conman MacFraud and takes his power (79) before wiping out Yachie’s army. And I forgot to screenshot that. Tenshi takes the last of Yuyuko’s territories. Reimu takes the Four Seasons Door, the approach to her shrine. And Turn 60 is over. Taking the Bamboo Forest and Hakurei district has given Lincoln a large empire.
Let's post some more updates. We have another screenshot drought, and it is also a content drought. The notes are short, so we'll go through a bunch of turns rapid-fire style. Lincoln chooses to surrender the Hakurei Shrine and part of the Stairs while his forces take a much-needed rest. The forces attacking Hakurei are two different factions that fight each other and never reach the shrine. Yorihime finds Shinmyoumaru defending Mugenkan for Eirin, and begins the attack. Remilia joins in the attack as well. She is not happy to have lost the territory. Yorihime fights the reinforcements that Eirin sends, killing the overconfident Kurgan who will return and Alice who will not.(81) She then steps on Shimmy (82) and claims the Gates of Fantasy that are the entrance to Mugenkan. Eirin’s main army is now so weak that Kisume and Kogasa defeat her. They may need a little help capturing Mugenkan because its last region is all that Eirin has left and she defends it with everything she has. Biglips MacJagger hunts down and kills Keiki (83), avenging the annoying occupation of the Library. Reimu knocks out two of Eirin’s Immortals on the way to her shrine, temporarily "killing" one of them. (84) Yorihime retreats from Mugenkan to repel Reimu’s invasion of her own shrine. That is a bitch move, Yorihime. Lincoln repels an attempt by Reimu’s forces to retake the Mausoleum. In the ensuing battle, Lincoln and Flandre kill Chen.(85) Reimu sends reinforcements! Lincoln defeats them, killing Ichirin. (86) The wandering Yamame has formed a new country on the Moon. Kurgan left Eirin to join it. Yamame’s new army is wiped out by one of Tenshi’s rump forces. Yuuka kills her officer Parsee (87) who had been part of Yuugi’s squad that scored nine kills in the early game. Saki takes the Four Seasons Door that is the northern gateway to Hakurei from Makai. Yorihime engages her attacking army which is led by Mokou and by Hecatia, the ally of Yorihime’s enemy Junko. Yorihime takes damage but is winning the fight. Lincoln captures Yatsuhashi, the bandmate of his officer Benben. Kisume’s army is nearly wiped out by Eirin and will need to retreat. Tenshi’s officer Mima inflicts heavy damage on Remilia. And that is the end of Turn 65.

Lincoln scores his first Immortal kill by taking down Lazarus Long (88) while Lazarus was distracted by reading a really good book. It was quite a good book. He could not put it down. Not even in the middle of a swordfight. Yorihime also takes a head. After capturing her enemy Hecatia, Yorihime orders her put to death. (89) Eirin begins to reclaim Mugenkan after running off Kisume. Fighting for Tenshi, Sanae temporarily kills the Immortal Jack Harkness.(90) Lincoln scores his second Immortal kill as he beheads Scrooge MacDuck and takes his power! (91) He also takes Scrooge’s greed! Sumireko dies in the battle. (92) She was the first person that Lincoln had met in Gensokyo, and she was kind to him. Lincoln is saddened, but he has greater interests. He has to collect girls for his TV show... to make money! Saki jumps into the battle, killing Momiji. (93) Tenshi takes Yamame’s last city, while Eirin retakes the last of Mugenkan’s three territories. Saki’s main force engages Lincoln who has just finished fighting several of Reimu’s armies. Lincoln outnumbers Saki greatly, but is heavily Fatigued and is likely to take heavy damage. A second Saki army approaches. Lincoln throws Scrooge MacDuck’s gold at them, and they all die from direct hits to the forehead.

Lincoln takes heavy damage in the fight against Saki. Kisume and Kogasa defend the southeast edge of the Hakurei district from three of Eirin’s Immortals who are attacking from Mugenkan. Remilia sends one of her own armies into Mugenkan to retake the district. Under the command of Remilia’s second Immortal Dumfuc MacClod but actually led by Cirno since Dumfuc does not know what he is doing, Remilia’s force overwhelms Eirin with its numbers. Biglips MacJagger duels Mima on the Youkai Mountain Summit. The twin dancers Satono and Mai Teireida are on opposing sides, as are Kana and Elly who each have similar clothing, hat, and hair. Turn 70. Saki and Lincoln trade heavy damage again. Remilia joins the fight at the Mountain Summit but does not bring enough forces. She trades heavy damage with Mima. Tenshi arrives at the fight and annihilates Remilia's smaller army, killing Sakuya. (94) Cirno defeats Eirin and kills Reisen. (95) Tenshi has claimed all of the Mountain except for the Summit, and is invading the Scarlet Devil’s realm from the Foot of the Mountain and from Shining Needle Castle. She has also pushed Yachie out of the Forest of Magic.

With her armies defeated and the heart of her realm under attack, Remilia sends a letter to her sister Flandre requesting help against Tenshi. Flandre is too busy fighting Saki to respond. Fortunately, Yorihime comes to her rescue and squashes Saki’s army. Mokou challenges Flandre, but she cannot resist the vampire’s fury. Tenshi crushes MacJagger so thoroughly that it tests his immortality, but he survives. Tenshi’s armies roll through Remilia’s lands, taking the Scarlet Devil Manor. Eirin joins the fight against Lincoln and Flandre. Her small force deals significant damage to the exhausted Lincoln, but Lincoln defeats her and slays one of her Immortal companions named... uh, his name is... shoot. I forgot this guy’s name. Does anyone know his name? Anyone? No answers. We will call him Bob. (96) Yorihime knocks Mokou out of the fight and captures her alive. Saki’s army is routed. Lincoln’s forces capture her officers Yumemi and Kokoro.
(480.48 KB 945x1837 turn073chopchop.png)

Turn 73. The landless (in more ways than one) sailor girl Chiyuri approaches Lincoln’s camp and asks to serve as an officer. She is accepted. Chiyuri may be too old to be one of the girls in Lincoln's house for his TV show, but a more immediate concern is that he will need good officers to defeat Tenshi. Mokou is also willing to join. Why? She is in Love with Lincoln. Unfortunately, a jealous Flandre gets to her before any other negotiator. “He is mine.” Mokou is executed (97) but not well enough to truly slay an Immortal. Attempts to Persuade the other prisoners fall flat. Remilia is down to three territories. Her empire may not survive the turn. Lincoln’s forces are still bogged down and unable to move to support her. The defeated Patchouli has switched sides to join Tenshi, and she helps Yukari defeat Biglips MacJagger. (98) Eirin sends another gang of Immortals after Lincoln! He slays the French Immortal R’as le Bol and his fellow scotsman Ronald MacDonald, (100) taking their powers for himself. He can now speak French and overcook hamburgers. And there is a bug in my code that allows stolen skills to be duplicated. That is not hard to fix. The game already has a function to check for duplicates. I only need to use it. Reimu begins a resurgence by taking several of Saki’s territories after Lincoln and Yorihime wiped out her army. Suika kills Renko. (101)

Aunn and Kokoro join Lincoln’s force out of prison. Yumemi still needs convincing. Lincoln also recruits the wandering Yuyuko who is a powerhouse. Tenshi can field almost twice as many soldiers as Lincoln can, so he needs his officers to be better. Out of all of Tenshi’s territories, Tenshi uses her main army to defend the one bit of land that the new and undertrained officers were sent to take. Half of Lincoln’s army is screwed because it went with them. On the up side, Tenshi’s army is pinned down. We know where they are and can send better officers to target them. Remilia sends Cirno to attempt another attack on Mugenkan. Cirno kills Fortune-Teller (102) while her ally Dumfuc MacClod slays the Immortal Tom Bombadil (103).

Turn 75. Tenshi goes almost all-in, sending her best officers to attack Lincoln’s army of novices in Bamboo Forest West. Lincoln does likewise, taking Yorihime and Flandre into the battle. They deal a solid amount of damage to Yukari, but not as much as they take. Tenshi has a spare A-rank army of 40,000 that she uses to take Yuugi’s last city. Reimu defeats Yachie’s army, killing Miyoi. (104) She sends Suika to reclaim the Hakurei Shrine, but Yuyuko and Chiyuri run her off. An angry Saki murders the captured Urumi. (105) Biglips MacJagger has mixed emotions about the war. He can’t get no satisfaction when his side is losing. He says “it’s all over now” and leaves undercover of the night to start his own country! Koakuma and Dumfuc MacClod leave with him. And that's all of the updates for now.

(813.68 KB 960x2631 turn077tenshi.png)

New day, new updates. Turns 76 and 77. Tenshi is too damned powerful. Lincoln needs to roll back her territorial gains. Lincoln has spent his Treasury money so the war is likely to be won on drafting soldiers to the limit allowed by the Economy. That gives Tenshi the advantage. A very weak expedition into the Scarlet Devil’s realm is lucky to meet no opposition. Remilia now has none of her original allies. Most have died in the war. Patchy turned coat, Flandre and Koakuma went off to start their own countries. She has replaced her departed Immortals with Jack Harkness and Rosalina. Remilia's best officers now are B-rankers who are not bad, but they cannot stand up to Tenshi’s A-rankers. She needs the help of Lincoln and Yorihime, and she needs it badly. Remilia is now hiding out in the Forest of Magic. It might be her next base of operations, although the region has a poor Economy. MacJagger’s new empire is centered on the Land of the Backdoor, giving him a foothold in Makai and the Stairs region. I set his color to orange on the map. MacJagger’s army is defeated by one of Tenshi's units led by Mima, so he may not be able to help. Yumemi joins Lincoln’s army. Reimu agrees to a ceasefire, allowing Lincoln to focus on Tenshi. Reimu's focus is to take down Yachie’s last territory. It takes two turns, but she succeeds. Reimu takes Yachie’s last city and orders the death of prisoner Shizuha. (106) Lincoln's unit takes heavy damage from Yukari in the fight in the Bamboo Forest. Tenshi takes the Gates of Fantasy from Remilia. That is the entrance to Mugenkan. Eirin leads a counterattack. Mokou is fighting for Tenshi and leading an army of 45,000. Tenshi is dominating the fight against Lincoln. Lincoln needs to be more powerful to stand against Tenshi and Okina. Tenshi provides him with a couple of Immortals. Lincoln slays Antonius Kalas and takes his power. (107) That improves his stats by a little, but Lincoln needs more than that.

Lincoln and Flandre study under Yorihime to learn her combat skills. All three of them follow Yorihime’s lead and deal heavy damage to Yukari. But will it help against Tenshi, Marisa, and Okina? No, not at all. Having observed their tactics, Marisa and Okina fry Lincoln’s unit at a distance with their magic while Flandre screws up the plan as she often does. Saki is presently in control of Old Hell (the northern district) and attempts to break out in two directions, going west to attack Tenshi at the Mountain and east to attack Reimu in new Hell. Doremy’s squad reclaims the Scarlet Devil Manor for Flandre. They meet no opposition. Eirin defeats Tenshi’s incursion into Mugenkan, killing Kikuri. (108)

Aya Shameimaru joins Lincoln’s army. She sees that Lincoln has been winning, and she wants to reclaim the Youkai Mountain. In truth, Lincoln has not been winning. He has been taking land, but Teshi is defeating him in combat. Lincoln's apparent success on the map is a mirage. Tenshi has taken most of Makai from Reimu and is now attacking the Mausoleum, which Lincoln holds. Yuyuko attempts to defend with not nearly enough forces. Mokou crushes them with little effort. Yumemi arrives at the Bamboo Forest with a large force to give Lincoln the time to escape. She actually stands up well against Tenshi, whose forces are tiring. MacJagger’s short-lived empire falls to Tenshi’s forces, who capture Dumfuc MacClod. Reimu’s army is defeated by the strong Tenshi unit of Miko, Keine, and Shinki, who score a kill against the reviving Immortal Count St. Germain. (109)
(405.97 KB 750x2332 turn080revolts.png)

And then all hell breaks loose thanks to some poorly designed custom code. In a test run, the Immortals all bunched themselves up into one faction and never fought each other. I wrote a routine to create new factions if there was a small number of factions and a large number of surviving Immortals. The game has a test to see if a character could and would revolt on a given turn. I ran it for every character. It triggers too often. I also used the wrong rebellion function, so the rebels imprisoned officers rather than gathering allies. Don't do this. Let me disable that routine so it doesn't run again... but let's roll with this.
(197.89 KB 842x802 turn080newteam.png)

(154.64 KB 839x522 turn080newfactionlist.png)

So, damage report: Aunn, Aya, Yatsuhashi, Yuyuko, Yumemi each rebelled against Lincoln, started their own country, and imprisoned Lincoln's other officers. Lincoln and Yorihime now stand alone. Every other faction was hit. Tenshi suffered revolts by Marisa, Patchy, Maribel, Shion, Wriggle, and Yukari. Eirin suffered revolts by Letty and Medicine. Reimu suffered revolts by Jumpy Villager, Magan, Mystia, and Suika. Remilia suffered revolts by Nazrin and Yumeko. Saki suffered revolts by Kutaka and Ooedo Doll. Lincoln: "Well, darn it, there goes my plan of putting all of the girls that I collected into my house for my TV show!" Yorihime: "Could I be in your TV show?" Lincoln: "No. You are too old." The short-tempered Yorihime slaps Lincoln. Lincoln: "Maybe you could be the mother, or someone's aunt."

Lincoln: "You know what? If everyone else is quitting and starting their own country... I can do that too!" Yorihime: "But you already have a country. What about your empire?" Lincoln: "You can have it. Go take back the Moon or something." Lincoln returns to Mokou's House to plan his next move. Several of the girls that he had collected are there waiting for him! They have so much Love for Lincoln that they had broken out of prison to be with him, and they all figured that he would be there. Yes, that is a game glitch that I did not know existed. Rejoining the team are Flandre, Benben, Doremy, Eternity Larva, Kisume, and Kogasa.

The next task is Diplomacy, also known as deciding which of the new empires to invade first. Lincoln: “Hey, Yorihime, I know that I gave you my empire but can I have it back?” Yorihime: “Okay, sure.” Lincoln now has his old empire and more soldiers than every other faction combined. Most of his officers are on cooldown due to the chaos, so only Kisume and Kogasa move. Lincoln:: "Wait. That means that everyone else will be on cooldown too. Let’s just attack with all of our soldiers, even if no one is leading them." Yorihime: "We will lose our entire army if anyone puts up a solid defense agianst them." Lincoln: "Does anyone else have 500,000 soldiers to spend?" The first thing that all of the new little factions do is form an alliance. For some reason, they intend to target Yuyuko. They gain the support of the former major powers Tenshi, Reimu, and Saki. Lincoln chooses not to join because he plans to attack most of the parties to the alliance. Yumeko asks Lincoln for an alliance. Wasn’t she one of Remilia’s officers? Lincoln accepts. If it does not work out, he can invade her later.

Operation Overwhelm begins with successful captures of the Scarlet Devil Manor’s Library and the last patch of the Bamboo Forest that Tenshi had been defending from Lincoln. Tenshi’s forces are completely scattered. There is no resistance. Lincoln’s large armies take the Residential Area and the School of the Human Village, and roll over the smaller armies of Aya and Nazrin. Remilia is also disrupted by the revolts, and fields an army of only 1,600. Mystia shrugs off her attack. Aunn takes the Divine Spirit Mausoleum from Lincoln. As if there have not been enough revolts already, Kana starts a new country on the Moon! She is supported by Yachie, Koakuma, Rosalina, and Biglips MacJagger. And that is finally the end of Turn 80. We are looking at a completely different game board. Everyone except Lincoln was totally screwed by the revolts. Their armies are gone, while Lincoln had enough savings to buy a gigantic army that will take him to the end of the game.

(291.99 KB 827x776 turn081lincoln.png)

(206.54 KB 792x643 turn083kogasa.png)

There is a big throwdown in Human Fields, a fight between eleven armies. Without leadership, Lincoln’s army takes heavy damage from Marisa. Lincoln encounters and defeats Shion’s army in a fight for the Cemetery by the Myouren shrine. His target is Aunn and the nearby Mausoluem. One of Lincoln’s leaderless armies captures Shining Needle Castle and continues onward toward the Mountain. Yorihime seeks to conquer Mugenkan which is divided between three forces. She encounters and sweeps aside a Medicine strike force on the way there. Mugenkan is soon two forces, as Eirin conquers the rebel Letty Whiterock. Kogasa defeats Marisa and kills Nemuno. (110) Lincoln’s leaderless armies defeat Yumemi and Nazrin. Yumemi escapes and joins Tenshi. Nazrin switches sides and joins Lincoln.
(196.54 KB 916x925 turn084nazrin.png)

(239.07 KB 735x928 turn084nazrin2.png)

Lincoln looks over his new officer Nazrin. Would she be good for his TV show? No, not really. Well, more of a maybe. She has the right age and a playful personality, but that personality is broken by certain... rat-like behaviors that are bad for TV. Would she be good in the war? Again, maybe. She is a poor fighter but has a cunning mind. Nazin is tasked with invading the neighboring Yuyuko. She is succeeding so far.
(266.25 KB 924x715 turn085akyuudies.png)

Missing update from Turn 83: Medicine Melancholy repels an attempt by Eirin to take the third region of Mukenkan, temporarily killing her Immortal officer Dio. (111) And now back to Turn 85. Patchouli asks Lincoln for an alliance. "Okay, why not." It is one less enemy to focus on while the others are out. Kisume conquers the small empire of rebel Yatsuhashi, who escapes. Kogasa finishes the long battle at the Human Fields, reclaiming a strategically important piece of enemy territory in the middle of Lincoln's empire. Aya rejoins Lincoln, and she promises not to revolt again. Yorihime has had trouble invading Mugenkan. It is not serious trouble, but she has been chasing after small forces and potential threats while neglecting the main mission. She now finally focuses on Medicine and deals heavy damage. Lincoln accidentally orders the unit meant for the Mausoleum battle to the Mountain where his leaderless forces have advanced to the Moriya Shrine and beyond. Marisa takes the undefended territory. Koakuma kills Akyuu. (112) And that is the end of today's updates.

Let's see if we can finish this tonight. Lincoln invites the wandering Yatsuhashi to rejoin his empire. Yatsuhashi is excited to be with her bandmate Benben again. Very excited. Yukari comes to Lincoln and offers him almost anything in exchange for an alliance. The usual choice is "power" which grants the rare Witchcraft skill for a boost in combat if you train it up, but Lincoln has absorbed the powers of Scrooge MacDuck. He chooses money. Yukari controls Makai, so the alliance grants Lincoln the opportunity to attack Tenshi there. Yorihime defeats Medicine to take the Gates of Fantasy at the entrance to Mugenkan. Nazrin is defeating Yuyuko handily. In a fight over the Moon, Yukari kills Yachie and the Immortal MacJagger (114) who will revive. In fact, this is the second time that Yukari has killed MacJagger.

Aya is sent to take the Four Seasons Door neighboring the Hakurei Shrine, and she finds a party there. There are eleven small enemy armies squabbling over the land. She takes them one at a time. Aya scores a kill against one of the very oldest Immortals from before anyone’s memory, Barney Rubble! (115) And that ends Turn 86.

Lincoln’s forces may have lost the Mausoleum, but in exchange they have captured nearly all of the Mountain. It is easy to dominate the game when you have 500,000 soldiers and everyone else is fielding groups of 2,000. Nazrin defeats Yuyuko and recruits her officer Kokoro for Lincoln. Eirin’s army falls to a leaderless mob that kills the strong warriors Konngara and Youki. (115) Mystia gets bloodthirsty and kills Orange, Minamitsu, and Satono. (118)

Tenshi forms an alliance against Lincoln. Nearly everyone joins except for Lincoln's allies. Yorihime wipes out what little army Tenshi has gathered. Lincoln’s weakest leaderless army takes down Wriggle and returns with the powerful Shinki who had chosen not to fight for Wriggle. She chooses not to fight for Lincoln either. Lincoln: “Then what are you doing here? Go away.” Lincoln releases Shinki, who may become an opponent on the battlefield. Another leaderless army defeats and recruits Yumeko and Cirno who had both been Remilia’s officers. They are Flandre’s now, and they are Lincoln’s. Count St. Germain wipes out (119) against one of Marisa’s leaderless armies.
Lincoln examines what he has acquired in the new officer Cirno. "It is a fairy who is even dumber than Eternity Larva." For that insult, Cirno punches Lincoln and knocks him off of his feet. "She is strong, though..." Lincoln makes a decision. "You know what? I don’t like you. Get out of here." Lincoln un-hires Cirno and sends her back to Remilia. After she has already left, Lincoln has second thoughts. "I wonder if she might have been good in my TV show. A girl with an attitude can attract fans." He shrugs. "Oh well. It is too late to worry about it now."

Aya fights off another ten tiny armies at the Four Seasons Door. One of those three armies is Okina, Yumemi, and Keine. Despite outnumbering them three to one, Aya suffers heavy damage and may not survive another round of fighting. Yorihime takes Dream World and kills the defender Shou. (120) A leaderless army scores a "kill" of the Immortal Dunkin MacDonut. (121) Another of Lincoln’s leaderless armies enters the Hell of Blazing Fires. There are enough spare forces to help Yukari take the Moon from Kana. Lincoln defeats Eirin’s empire to take the powers of her horde of Immortals! Few of them are still with Eirin. They died in the war, revived, and wandered off. Lincoln slays Ramirez and Dorian Gray, (123) gaining Dorian’s sinfulness. All of the captured normal 2hus were released. Lincoln did not see anyone that would be a good fit for his TV show.

There are now 14 little countries plus Lincoln's empire that spans half of the map. Lincoln's risky Chinese-human-wave strategy has paid off. He has lost over 100,000 soldiers but had expected to do much worse. He still has twice as many soldiers as everyone else combined. Aya accepts her defeat and abandons Four Seasons to be captured by Tenshi. Yorihime repels a Reimu assault from the Dream Ruins and Lab at the far east, killing Elis. (122) Yorihime will seek to claim those territories for herself. Tenshi's main army falls to a human wave that is eight times its size, and Shinki is killed. (123) Yatsuhashi and Eternity Larva score a kill of Rosalina (124) who is immortal and will revive.

Lincoln’s forces took down a couple of microempires, but Rinnosuke creates a new one. He has taken over the entire Human Village! Rinnosuke gives a long and rambling speech about how the human village should be for humans and not for vampires or Immortals, and on the question of whether vampires or Immortals are actually human of which quite a hearty debate could be had on either side of the question, and he also tries to interest the audience in buying stuff from his store. Lincoln sends his forces in to retake the village while everyone is distracted. Yatsuhashi and Eternity Larva conquer Kana’s lunar empire and have claimed half of the Moon for Lincoln. Koakuma is captured, and she willingly joins Lincoln. Lincoln returns her to Remilia. Aunn invades from the Four Seasons Door and captures the Hakurei Shrine. She is the shrine's guardian spirit, after all. Nazrin and Kogasa fight Aunn for the Hakurei Shrine, killing Medicine. (125) One of Lincoln’s leaderless armies scores three kills of Letty, Sara, and the overconfident Immortal Dio. (128) Lincoln's alliance with Patchouli ends, and she claims the Path of Liminality from him. One of Ooedo Doll’s leaderless armies kills Kurumi. (129)

Lincoln's vast army is down to a still-gigantic 340,000 soldiers. That number drops as Yatsuhashi and Eternity Larva attempt to battle Okina and two other A-rankers. Lincoln and Flandre show up and drive them off. Remilia attempts to attack Patchouli, but fails. She could only muster 3,400 soldiers. Lincoln renews the alliance with Patchouli. Aunn surrenders and rejoins Lincoln. The giant number of factions is now down to eleven with Lincoln owning 64 cities and most of the map. Lincoln’s ally Yukari is the only other one worth mentioning, with 14 cities in Makai and the Stairs. Remilia is stuck at two, unable to expand, and Patchy has five. Eternity Larva captures the last of the Moon, except for the Lunar Capital which is held by Yukari. Yorihime invades a divided Heaven, where the rest of Tenshi’s forces are, and kills Koishi Komeiji. (130) Reimu takes down the minor power Magan, but she is now a minor power herself. Lincoln's forces sweep over Heaven and also enter Old Hell where Ooedo Doll has made herself the power. Nazrin and Kogasa overwhelm Okina with numbers. The powerful Okina is nibbled to death by a swarm of mice. (131) Patchy takes one of Remilia’s two territories. Yukari kills Jumpy Villager. (132)

Shion starts a new country in the Moriya Shrine on the Mountain! Lincoln's officer Aunn, who had just rejoined him, leaves to join Shion. Lincoln's officer Aya leaves Hell to fight Shion for the Mountain. Yorihime also joins the fight, since the battle in Heaven is going well. She captures Aunn and throws her in prison. Lincoln is injured in a special event and cannot fight in this round. Flandre can. She attacks Tenshi’s last territory in the stupidest manner possible and loses a third of her army. Patchouli sends two Immortals to fight Remilia, Dumfuc MacClod and Dunkin MacDonut. They look like they could be brothers, except one is really fat. Lincoln forgot to renew the alliance with Yukari and she took a piece of land.

The game decides that Kogasa is a master blacksmith. Maybe because an umbrella looks like a bellows? I have not seen this portrayal of her in any other fanwork. Lincoln returns Yumeko to Remilia since he has enough officers to conquer the world and she is too old to be one of the girls in his TV show. Ooedo Doll's micro-empire falls. Tenshi's empire also falls! The revolts were what defeated her, the rest was cleanup work. Kokoro delivered the final blow. Flandre did not do anything. Bowerick Wowbagger slays Count St. Germain and takes his power! (133) And I spelled Bowerick’s name wrong. Dunkin MacDonut slays Rosalina and devours her power! (134) And he also kills Yuki. Aunn rejoins Lincoln’s team out of prison. Elly also joins! She just shows up one day and joins. Why? "I want to be in your TV show." Lincoln: "Well, you’ll have to lose the Grim Reaper scythe. It will freak out the viewers." Elly: "I will just hide it in the corner of the room where they are not filming." The [Skip To End] button appears! Is it... the Quickening? Lincoln: "Not yet. I want to kill some more people. And make some more money." But I said I was going to end the game when the button appeared, so... you have this turn. Lincoln: "Oh, all right. Let’s see what I can do." Mystia casts her darkness upon Aya, but the other bird breaks through it and kills Dio! (137) Nazrin’s army of mice nibbles Miko to death. (138) Lincoln has one last Immortal duel with Amanda from Highlander Raven. Amanda escapes, but Keine dies in the fighting. (139) Shion’s and Marisa’s micro-empires fall, leaving Yukari (Yellow), Patchouli (Purple) and Suika (Orange).

[Skip to end] pressed, game is done. Flandre has a custom good ending which I am ignoring since I am telling a different story. Lincoln’s final team is: Aunn, Aya, Benben, Doremy, Elly, Eternity Larva, Flandre, Kisume, Kogasa, Kokoro, Nazrin, Yatsuhashi, and Yorihime. To no one’s surprise, the winning side got the most kills. Flandre, Lincoln, and Eternity Larva were in the same squad for most of the game and scored 13, 12, and 11 kills respectively. The leaderless armies of all sides killed 11 unprepared officers. After that, the leaderboard is: 10: Mystia, Reimu 9: Kokoro, Parsee, Yorihime, Yukari, Yuugi 8: Saki, Sumireko, Yumemi 7: Doremy Sweet, Dumfuc MacClod, Okina, Sariel There were 30 Immortals in the game. I had thought there were fewer before counting them. 14 of them survived. Lincoln scored the most Immortal kills by far with 8. Dumfuc and Mokou each took out two Immortals. Bowerick Wowbagger, Dunkin MacDonut, MacJagger, and Mordamir each slew one. We never got to see Tewi say "in the end there can be only bun" but I did code that in. As for the 2hus who do not revive after they are killed, 13 of them were lucky enough to be on Lincoln’s team. Patchy collected 8. Yukari collected 5. Suika is alone. There are 26 wandering survivors, plus two surviving Touhou Immortals. So there are a total of 55 surviving 2hus of the original 159 or so.
Lincoln hangs up his phone after speaking to his agent, and he gives the news to his new hires. "Well, all of last year's girls are accounted for. Two of them moved away when their fathers got new jobs in other towns. Two of them contracted out to a new show. One was hit by a bus. One of the teenagers got pregnant. After all, this is a porn game. So the main thing is that none of them are coming back, so if we are going to have a show about a house full of girls, it's going to be you girls." He gives the bad news to the oldest of them. "Yorihime, you are too obviously a grown-up so you cannot play a little girl, We could possibly give you a small part on the show as a recurring character, like a shopkeeper or an aunt who lives on the far side of town." Yorihime: "Or on the Moon." Lincoln: "The far side of town is more believable." Yorihime: "But I really do live on the Moon." There is more to say. Lincoln: "One of the gimmicks of this show is that everyone's name has to start with ‘L'." Elly: "My name starts with Ell." Lincoln: "Yes, but it has to start with the letter ‘L' and not just the sound L. So how about if we call you... Lucy?" Elly accepts that. "I could be a Lucy." Lincoln turns to the next person. "And, Aya, could we call you... Laya?" Aya: "Hey! Don't you call me a liar. The Bunbunmaru Shinbun is the most respected newspaper in Gensokyo!" Lincoln: "Is it the only newspaper in Gensokyo?" Aya: "There is one other one, Hatate's paper, but they are awful. No one reads that garbage." Eternity Larva: "My name begins with ‘L'." Lincoln: "Yes, it does, but, ah, how do I say this.. 'Larva' is not a very appealing name for a TV audience. We should call you something different." Eternity Larva: "But it's my name..."
Lincoln shoots a promotional short for the TV show. "Hi, my name is Lincoln MacLoud of the clan MacLoud. I live as the only boy in a house with eleven girls! Let me introduce them." "'Llandre‘ and I are about the same age. She wears a wedding dress around the house, and she thinks that she is my wife. Sometimes she will even sleep in my bed. Isn't that silly?" Flandre "I would say ‘lovely'." "And she also thinks that she is a vampire." Flandre smiles and shows off her sharp teeth. "'Lonnie' thinks that she is a guard dog! She runs around the house on all fours, and she will sit by the table and beg for scraps. Isn't that silly? And she has this spike thing on her head and pointed ears. What's up with that?" "Little 'Lissy' is always hiding somewhere. In a bucket, in a closet, in a cupboard, sometimes in the fireplace. Isn't that silly? ... where did she go?" "'Lazolin' thinks that she is a mouse. She wears that mouse-ear headband." Nazrin: "These are my real ears. You told me to wear the headband around them." "Isn't she silly? She wants to eat every kind of cheese that has ever been made, and then she wants to eat the moon because it is made of cheese!" Yorihime: "It is not." "'Lolasa' has different colored eyes. One is blue. One is red. And she always carries an umbrella around inside the house! Isn't that silly? And the umbrella has this weird silly face on one side!" (There is a bulge in the umbrella where it is trying to hold in its large tongue because Lincoln asked it to.) "'Lolo' refuses to speak. She uses masks to express her emotions. Isn't that silly?" "'Lenlen' and 'Lassy' are sisters who play music. They want to be in an orchestra. And they play these weird Far Eastern instruments. Isn't that silly?" "'Lucy' is a polite and refined girl with a Southern drawl." Elly: "I don't have a Southern drawl. My accent is from Makai." "We'll practice it. And she is always the first person to answer the door whenever we have guests. She stands by the door waiting for them whether we have plans for anyone to visit or not. Isn't that silly?" "'Lory' is always tired. She spends most of her time in bed. When she is awake, she wears pajamas and a night cap so she can go back to bed. She is sleeping on the couch right now! Isn't that adorable?" "'Litty' thinks that she is a fairy! She wears wings around the house, and... Hey! Don't fly on camera! People don't know that fairies are real! Can we cut this out?" Aya, behind the camera: "Hell no."
Aya works the camera and also becomes one the show's writers. Her eye for scandals, real or imagined, allows her to perceive conflicts that make for good storylines. Yorihime plays a minor role as "Auntie Lorie" who lives on the far side of town and visits from time to time. The writers exaggerate her personality flaws so much that she nearly quits the show in anger, which is one of those flaws, but she decides to stay on. So that's it. Game's over, story's over. Hope you enjoyed it.
