Today I want to talk about Chihiro and her hair. Chihiro has short black hair with a blue tint to it, the specific shade best described like midnight blue. Her hair is rather complex for how short it is, becoming lighter near the ends into something a bit closer to brownish black. Her hair has an interior part which is a pale brown, to add onto the complexity. It almost looks like Chihiro's hair is dyed in how the ends and "interior" seem to lighten up in their intensity, which would be a first! Chihiro's hair style being short gives her a professional air, though it's clear that the work she does puts something of a strain on her with how her hair looks somewhat unkempt, likely a combination of poor sleep and stress in her specific case. Her left bangs are held with a yellow bunny hairclip, giving a striking contrast of yellow to the blue. The right side, however, has not been given such a luxury and threatens to cover her eye. Perhaps there's a lesson to be learnt about how one piece to a network can either make it nearly impregnable or be an open door, the careful balance between security and a leak.
Chihiro's camping outfit has her hair more or less the same, though it's now covered with a hat I'm pretty sure is oft used for hiking. Despite the short length, she opted to tie her hair in a ponytail, and once again, she puts the thing that holds her hair on her left. This time it's a teal hairband, seemingly the same shade as her glasses.
Chihiro's hair in her pajamas has been tied, once again, to a ponytail, but this time there isn't a left or right bias, instead being centered. Interestingly, she wears what seems to be a hairband to keep her bangs from getting in front of her face while she sleeps. The work she's done for the day makes itself known with how her hair is all over the place.
Chihiro's outfit starts with her glasses, being turquoise-framed. The eyes that are behind said glasses are hazel, the union between her blue and yellow. Moving to her letterman jacket, the left breast has a geometric logo on it; a turquoise triangle pointed up, with a smaller white triangle within, not complete near the bottom-right, with triangles within. The ones pointed up are black, and the ones pointing down are turquoise except for the bottom right one, which is white. Going by how this logo also appears on her hiking attire, it's likely a brand she's used to and trusts for their reliability. On her left sleeve is a black V with a black and yellow circle past it that's similar to a setting sun. Just below that is the Veritas logo, colored blue, the "normal" color for it. Under that is a harness, likely some feature to the jacket that's almost never used. The right sleeve doesn't have anything on it other than simple stripes where the shoulder ends, but below it is a pattern of three rabbits. The one on the left is in front of the other two, and is purple with serious looking eyes, while the ones behind it are black with only a light blue eye shown. It almost certainly represents a malicious actor and their botnet. The Millennium logo is on the back of Chihiro's jacket, with a black stripe running horizontally along it at the halfway point. Moving on from the jacket, Chihiro wears a light blue button-up vest, with her shirt underneath it. As is common in Millennium, instead of a serafuku ribbon, a blue tie is worn. Around her waist appears to be a tactical bag, the contents of which likely being useful in both a street fight and a cyber fight. Some excess fabric dangles with Veritas written on it, and on the pouch is the yellow rabbit. A friendly cartoon plush, its meaning ambiguous. Is it the "blue team" that stops attacks, or is it an end user who needs to be protected from the purple rabbit? Chihiro's skirt is a typical skirt, with a white line going along it. Her shoes are white and rather thick, likely done because she's on her feet a lot fixing problems on the networks she's commissioned to be helping with.
Chihiro's camping outfit is very well-tailored for hiking; while technically incorrect, I will refer to it as a hiking outfit hereon. The hat, as mentioned, is likely worn to protect against the sun, with the differing shades of blue done to make her visible, as well as the red line going along it. The jacket she wears appears to be a multilayered windbreak, the outermost being a button-up, with inside being a slip on? There's no visible zipper on it. Once again, on her left breast is the geometric pattern, also found on her hat and mug, though it's simplified to not be too distracting. Chihiro's windbreak is a mix of dark blue for the upper torso and lower end of the coat, with cream on her sleeves and lower torso. She wears gloves that are likely meant to help mainly with keeping warmth in, but also a bit of a bonus to her grip. Of note is how her gloves share the same logo as her backpack, likely made by the same brand, but different from the triangle brand, which is a good way to show that while Chihiro might prefer certain brands, she has no brand loyalty and won't closer her options if something better comes up. Her legwear is black stockings with gray socks, meant to be both familiar and insulating, with a thigh strap on her left thigh that likely is meant to potentially hold something, like the lantern on her right side. Chihiro's shoes look to be cleated to prevent slipping, and have thin soles for her to be able to walk light and also somewhat accurately know what she's stepping on. Finally, her kit contains at least two hiking sticks, a coffee mug, and her sleeping bag, with a tent assumedly somewhere in there as well. Her posture is impressive considering how much is likely in there.
Chihiro's pajamas are simple, starting with a long-sleeve white shirt with three rabbits on them. From right to left, they're yellow, light blue and dark blue. The text is illegible underneath, but it's possible she simply likes rabbits. She wears black dolphin shorts, and blue sleep sandals with a yellow rabbit on them.
Chihiro's professionalism is nothing short of exemplary. Even without the rest of Veritas to be a foil to this, her appearance says it all. She naturally washes and grooms her hair as best she can, but in her case she might have something arise that causes her hair to either be neglected or betray a hint of wear on her. As for how her hair smells, I can't help but think she'd pick the scent of coffee. It's not just for energizing, but also for relaxing, a moment of respite before the next task. The flower the rabbit eats before it hops again.
