Next fnaf game Anonymous 11/05/2025 (Wed) 05:36:01 Id: 22cdad No. 1908270
I'm not gonna pretend to know what any of this means, but a friend of mine works in game dev and apparently is working on the next Five Nights at Freddy's. We were at a Halloween party and he tried rizzing up some chick dressed as one of the characters with secrets about the next game. It actually worked, apparently the key to an autistic girl's heart is top secret Five Nights at Freddy's knowledge. So here's what you need to know to screw the next girl you see dressed like a slutty bird. From what I can remember, he said that the game has two interweaving narratives. There's one where you're a girl named Cassy who's chased by a mimic and a giant monster made of the robots and another that's set in the past where you're the mimic and trying to avoid getting captured. He said it's an attempt to bring asymmetric horror gameplay like DBD to a single player game.
Delicious pasta, shame the cook sucks a ton of cocks!
>no mentions of the sister location bunker or Mike being alive Fake and gay
>FNAF You must be 18 to post here. I hate this series for completely shitting up the "robot" tags on every fucking website ARGHHHH
>>1924961 >spoiler I agree
>>1924961 FNAF has polluted so many fucking tags but I hate how many completely off-model variations have spawned that it has forced new tags just to be able to filter out specific styles, and of course the most detailed 3d animators use the worst fucking models ever conceived, either only using the generic yellow anime girl or hyper fat withered chica or whatever the fuck the model is that's just anime shark mouth chica with hyper proportions and bendy cartoon body, and the only artists that actually did good on-model porn must have died or gotten abducted by mexican cartel
>>1924961 The first game release 11 years ago, 7yo kids back then are now old enough to post
We need a fnaf game where you have a female animatronic friend, but you are an adult unlike in security breach
Don't know why someone hasn't built an asymmetrical multiplayer game with fnaf as a skin. One person plays a guard stuck in the security room, others play the animatronics trying to get to him. Or with the theming of the newest game, one team could be humans working for FE trying to salvage parts while one of them stays behind to surveil the area and let them know if they're in danger. Scott Cawthon hire me pls >>1927126 >11 years ago I'm not old I'm not old I'm not old I'm not old I'm n

>>1927126 That comic became real with Security Breach The vast majority of FNAF fans are under 20 from my experience. It's a mascot horror series with terrible games, it's going to have a mostly young audience regardless
>>1925326 >>1924961 > shitting up the "robot" tags on every fucking website >FNAF has polluted so many fucking tags Its always the small things, like the straw that broke the camels back.

The only good fnaf games were fnaf 1 and fnaf sister location. FNAF2-4 wore out there welcome with too much of the same mechanics and security breach just looks pretty
>>1927954 The gaming scene is more fragmented than ever, the mp player pool is more cancerous than ever, and whoever's left usually is hundreds/thousands of hours of sunk cost into some live service or specific erp community, new mp games stand very little chance. PvP is especially bad because of how prevalent cheating is. Also FNAF games are now developed by Steel Wool, a bunch of talentless corponiggers barely a step above jeet devfarms, and they'll never make anything more ambitious than putting a new coat of paint on the usual "hide in lockers" template.
>>1929974 >Also FNAF games are now developed by Steel Wool, a bunch of talentless corponiggers barely a step above jeet devfarms, and they'll never make anything more ambitious than putting a new coat of paint on the usual "hide in lockers" template. True but Security Breach was a very good looking coat of paint
>>1929974 Yeah, I know. The franchise started off as a niche little thing, hit the tubersphere and ballooned massively in popularity, then just became too big for its own good having endless tie-ins and side games and outsourced developers running the show. That's the fate of pretty much any game or franchise that does/did get big this generation. But it's still fun to imagine a better outcome, isn't it?
>>1924961 >>1927970 Funnily enough, this franchise wasn't meant for kids to begin with and still not marketed as such. The entire series is running under the "balanced" horror umbrella. Holding both scare and fun without lifting higher than each other. SOMA, Fatal Frame, fucking Resident Evil does this. Wherever or not you think FNaF did it nicely is up to your preference. But in the end of the day, the franchise got an awful reputation thanks to it's fanbase filled by e-celeb brats who 90% they never played the games. Which is why the space is filled with children.
>>1924961 >>1925104 What kills me isn't them showing up but how the designs don't look robotic at all. They just look like regular furry art but with maybe some metal joints, if you squint your eyes.
>>1927970 >terrible games FNAF 1 manages to have a great sense of atmosphere, better than a lot of horror games out there. People hyperfixated on the jumpscares and missed out on the awesome audio cues that not only build up tension but actually help you identify where in the building the animatronics are.
>>1952040 There's nothing wrong with jumpscares by itself. The real problem was that most game devs just took the jumpscares at face value and it relies on that instead of being used as a punchline. Which FNaF as a franchise sadly and slowly falls into the trap.
>>1952058 >There's nothing wrong with jumpscares by itself Either you are 12 or have no desire to be entertained by anything other than the equivalent of jiggling keys in your face, there is no in between. I can't think of anything worse than defending jumpscares when it comes to horror games, especially the kind in FNAF that fills your entire screen rather than just being a sudden small movement or the surprise element of unexpected things, and even more when the entire game is built on just that, even though it does have good sound design. >>1952040 Yes, there's good design and ambience made in FNAF1, but by god, it relies so fucking much on jumpscaring. The fact that the very last horror that was not jumpscare centric from the 2010s is fucking enderman of all things is depressing. Maybe outlast, too? Jesus. And And then nothing, horror fucking died until Amnesia: The Bunker came out.
>>1952153 FNAF jumpscares are like a game of operation. It's less about the jumpscare itself and more about the build up to it. FNAF 4 for example has jumpscares but being forced to listen to audio cue (can't play at a low volume) makes the anticipation pretty nerve wrecking.
>>1952153 cuckchan is next door nigger
>>1953706 >Not liking meme game for toddlers means you're from cuckchan
>>1952058 >There's nothing wrong with jumpscares by itself Jumpscares in general? I guess I can see where you're coming from. The "shaking jpeg covering most of the screen" jumpscare format, which is what the FNAF series uses almost all the time? Hell no, it's absolutely flawed at its core. There's a reason the best jumpscare of FNAF 1 is Foxy's, with Freddy's out of power jumpscare being a distant second. Also, in the specific case of FNAF jumpscares became a crutch to avoid improving animations.
>>1954191 I get where you're coming from. The jumpscares do look more goofy after the first game. The 4th is the "only" instance where it's really improved.

>>1954395 I think a lot worked the best in the first game since it had the most grounded design in general. The animatronics look like actual pizza parlor animatronics, only the lighting, mood, and wear and tear on their outer shells give them an ominous look and the game a very foreboding vibe. Every other animatronic designed after that looks way too polished or over designed to nail the same "forgotten 80's mascot" look the first game managed and that issue started as soon as the second game. That's all without mentioning how retarded the story actually got, too. Not knowing was a lot scarier than being told every last thing that happened. Killer robots that have a mind of their own and want to stuff you into a metal suit? Scary. Child ghosts using the power of revenge to murder you because you're the zombie son of the head of a company who was also a serial killer and studied how murdering someone literally gives you magic juice? Fucking stupid.

>>1954516 >Child ghosts using the power of revenge to murder you because you're the zombie son of the head of a company who was also a serial killer and studied how murdering someone literally gives you magic juice? Fucking stupid. What's funny is that the fanbase just made it more goofier than what already is. Since the game's story is non-existent, almost everybody are treating their theories and headcanons (which should be harmless fun) as fact. Didn't helped that most of these theories are hyperbolic, and they intentionally mislead others over finding something they believe to be a "crucial" piece when in reality it's either irrelevant to the narrative or something which we shouldn't pay attention to begin with. (The whole 83 theories because of a easter egg about a cartoon show showing it's release date) Sister Location was the nail in the coffin for the franchise's story. It wasn't supposed to be canon to begin with, yet Scott from all of his wisdom thought it was a good idea to make it one, with outside media elements into it without thinking about the consequences of all of this, plus his lack of communication with Steel Wool made it worse for the "new" story post-HW. (I mean SW were never angels to begin with if you look at their track record) Now the entire series' story is as much of an mess as the fanbase's own theories. But at least some of the characters' are memorable in their own right. (Glamrock Freddy should had been the protagonist since he has more to go on than Gregory, and the Rockstars look appealing).
>>1954585 >(Glamrock Freddy should had been the protagonist since he has more to go on than Gregory, and the Rockstars look appealing). There are many, MANY things that would have helped SB but that'd definitely help a ton. The game could have even started from before the actual events, giving the player a better understanding of each animatronic's character, how Vanessa's behavior would have changed over time, how Freddy interacts with kids/fans compared to the others, and foreshadowing the game's events (and possibly even Monty pushing Bonnie out of the limelight). Playing as Freddy would have also led to using the security system making more sense, and helping Gregory safely navigate areas without being able to directly control him would have felt far more tense and felt more in line with the franchise's gameplay styles than the joke of a game we got.
>>1954662 >>1954516 Huh, my id changed but managed to stay the same color. Neat!
I never did, and still do not, like all the dumb twists in the plot. It should have just been ghost children possessing animatronics to kill you because you may be the guy who stuffed them in there the first place. Not all this retarded nonsense about zombie metal.
At this point, the story could be considered more action than it is horror. There's still horror, but it feels like it's been relegated to being the device that moves the story to the next big plot point.
>>1954662 I dunno about that. An escort mission would have made SB fucking annoying. I think the ginormous holes in the story were mainly due to the lack of a proper bridge between VR and SB. I was thinking of an detective-style prequel about Vanessa. She would be the new security guard in this mall where many different companies, including Fazbear Entertainment, are in a fierce competition. Someone's sabotaging the new glamrock show and the Fazbear higher ups suspect the competition, so Vanessa teams up with the animatronics to figure out what's going on. Along the way they discover Vanny through security tapes and run into many of her traps designed to incapacitate the animatronics. The big twist would be that Vanessa and Vanny are the same person and it was all part of her plan to gain everyone's trust, safely hack the animatronics while pretending to fix them and revive Springtrap. This would introduce the glamrocks pre-hacking, give Vanessa/Vanny a much needed presence in the story and explain how in the hell was Fazbear Entertainment able to build such a ginormous structure like the Pizza Plex in the first place.
>>1954711 It reminds me Portal 2. It went overboard with Aperture's scale and made the already talking robots very silly and colorful.
