Let's take a different approach to the usual threads about recently-released games. In this case, we'll talk about Arc Raiders. Instead of praising it, or deconstruct the recent 'hype' around it. This seems necessary since a lot of people are discussing it and talking about it on social media and other sites where video games are talked about in some capacity. >What kind of people are praising this game? >What is the appeal? >What is the staying power? >Who is behind the game? Developed/funded/designed? Getting to the bottom of this should help deconstruct any hype that you may or may not hear about it in the present and future.

Teased their next game Arc Raiders (not by name) as another freemium game, whereas now it's freemium with $40 upfront. (Don't know if the genre changed too). As for sponsor, nvidia used it as dlss4 demonstration, it got a little hype around being decent looking despite being an unreal title. Discourse around it not using epics shitty features or dlss are there, I just did find anything about base settings yet. Good night.

The people who buy this: FOMO guys Why: Its a fun game until the game is "figured out" and a meta is formed. Also appeals to extroverts who like talking to other people in games.

Also streamer friendly so that people can stream their "so crazy!" moments. >What is the staying power? Very small, because the game has PVP and casuals have already cried for there to be a PVE mode only (The devs themselves wanted the game to be PVE but added PVP because they noticed how boring it was in testing, so that tells you something). >Who is behind the game?
