Today I want to talk about one of the Saiba twins. The one whose face is a lot more restrained. The one who has traditional ideas for a date. Watching fireworks? A candlelit dinner? That's Midori, who else?
Green Momoi has blonde hair that goes down to her neck, and puts two green bows in her hair, about the same height as her lips. To add on to this, The One Who's Really Smug wears a headset with cat ears on it, hers being green since that's her thing. And the cool shoes. And the shorts. And an earnest smile. And looking like melon liquer. And using an SR. And winning the senseibowl in that one manga. But the green defines her the most.
Meticulous Maid Midori knows that the headset's an important part of her appearance since without it, it'd be tricky to tell the twins apart. Of course, the maid headband needs to be on, since she's a maid; Maid Midori! It being straight up shows her sincerity at completing the job of two people. The bows have been relocated to the back of her hair in a style close to pigtails. After all, they're cute, like Midori!
Midori's hair in the winter outfit is... The same as her normal outfit. That wouldn't make artistic sense, after all. Despite that, her gamer headset has a more pronounced groove, triangular like a spike... Or perhaps the pen that draws art.
There actually is some differences between the Saiba twins beyond the color scheme. And the personalities. And the weapons. And the shoes. And how sexy or cool they might be. And their skill at games. And their self-awareness. And how often they need to avoid death.
Since this is Saiba MIDORI and not Saiba TWINS, I will only go over MIDORI. Version-exclusives need to only have minor differences or things get weird! For example, Midori's serafuki scarf has a thicker white stripe, but this seems to also apply to her thigh-highs as well. She wears her jacket properly, with a sleeker lower half, making her a refreshing and calming sight, though she's probably aware of that. Her gun's handguard is blocky, and could be mistaken for a jewelled gun in a video game... Or perhaps used by a magical girl. Midori wears shorts, and doesn't need to tie her jacket together, showing herself to be more "open" despite her shorts being closed. It's very bold from her, but would need to be picked up on.
Maid Midori's tail moves, which happens in every twin's outfit. Making a mistake like that would only happen to someone not checking their animations, but it's an understandable mistake to make. After all, Midori's tail curls up at the end in almost every situation! But beyond that, a good touch is how both Saiba twins have a Tamagotchi on where their aprons are tied. They're twins, and will naturally look after one another.
PV3 was almost 4 years ago. It shows Midori playing on her console while walking, which is both reckless and in-character for the shy Saiba to do that to avoid talking with strangers. The winter outfit has some differences, but they're subtler this time, like shades of gray.
Midori's hair is likely the second-best groomed of the GDD. To be fair, it's a night-and-day comparison with anyone else she's compared to. Is it clean, though? The answer to that is definitively yes. Midori might not be very charismatic, but she's very sincere whenever she does things. That, and there's a 4koma that explicitly goes over her being the one to tell the other GDD members to keep the room clean. A clean gamer might sound like an oxymoron, but Midori wouldn't think about it like that. She'd instead think about it like a clean woman, but being aware of Sensei having to deal with all sorts of smells, she ends up having a bit of an average scent in spite of the vanilla being a very thoughtful choice.
