>>1987692 I played Wurm Online for the very first time in 2024 (because I wanted to see what Minecraft's spiritual predecessor was like), and from what I saw/read there are decades worth of unwiped old servers. Your town has probably decayed until nothing but the roads remained, or it got paved over by somebody else's town, God knows how many times over. I highly recommend logging in just to see what's become of it all, to see the march of time shown through the lens of a videogame. I for one genuinely enjoyed my time in that world, seeing all the ruins of ages past, going on adventures with random people I met in-game, and building things that have probably also decayed by now, leaving only my terraforming and my roads as witnesses of my virtual existence there. It's a humbling thing.

Still, all the dialogue and menu options were in Japanese, and it basically came down to me going through all the various paths and options through a whole bunch of trial and error since I had no idea what was happening.
