Posting this here since, either way, I'd be sharing this autism with the devs.
I want to brush Hare's hair. There's a lot of students that a lot of Senseis would say has more interesting hair, for various reasons. Some students have very fluffy hair that would be nice to be buried in or brush for the better part of a day, like Iroha's or Hina's. Others have incredibly long hair that, with such length, leads to an exciting journey to be had while brushing, like Aris or Yukari. Others still have unique styles that are captivating, like Kisaki and Maki's hair buns, Kai's split hair, Mika's gradient, or the many ahoges students have. But, if you were to ask me, I think I would have the most fun brushing Hare's hair. Is it because she's my favorite student? Yes, but there's more to it. Hare's personality is one that would go along with it, though she'd probably be quite embarrassed at the notion. She'd continue to work tirelessly on whatever fantastical program she's tweaking, the rhythmic clicking of the keyboard's keys being met with the gentle sound of a brush being run through her hair. After a bit, she'd feel somewhat drowsy from the brushing, relaxing into it, and would be conflicted. There's a passion fruit Youkai MAX on the desk, but if she moves, then she might end this precious moment. She thinks about it for a bit, then decides that she'll continue to work as long as she can without it. Besides, the gentle nature her hair's being brushed helps her concentrate, there's some problems she would have otherwise had issues with if she wasn't in such a state of calm. And so time passes, her hair already smooth and flowing like a stream, but the both of us simply enjoy this moment to be close to one another. Finally, the rhythmic clicking of the keys slows, before stopping entirely as Hare falls asleep in my arms. I soften my brushing, and eventually stop myself, listening to the soft breathing of my favorite student. She'll probably apologize about it, but I don't mind one bit. If I can help her take better care of herself, even with such a small act... If I can continue to experience more happy days with Omagari Hare, then it's all worth it.
