Today I want to talk about Yoshimi and her hair. Yoshimi has blonde hair that, when left natural, goes down to her ass. The thing you sit with, not the club she's associated with. Yoshimi normally ties her hair into twin tails. Here's a fun fact about that name: Apparently, "twin tails" is the Japanese way of saying "unbraided pigtails", which can itself be called "doggie ears" or "bunches". Admittedly, I'm getting that from the Wikipedia article whose source is dead, but I think it's worth bringing up, since Yoshimi's hair has a "pigtail" look going on, even though it's the same thing in this case. Back to her hair, Yoshimi ties her twin tails with a white ribbon that has pink ends to it. The ribbons, as well as Yoshimi's halo, feels reminiscent of a bunny's ears. That would make sense, seeing how Yoshimi seems to like them a lot going by what's on her bag. Her twin tails have an incredibly natural look to them, in how they don't seem uniform in one big bunch going down. It fits Yoshimi well, and makes her hair appear light and airy. Yoshimi also has an ahoge, and it's perhaps one of the simplest ones around. It's not massive, it's not small, only has one section and is mostly straight instead of turning in such a way to nearly be a circle. It's a good ahoge, and feels almost like an aperitif in how simple yet satisfying it is, complemented with the rest of her hair. The same can be said of her hair vents as they're visible and apparent, but not much past that. The same with her bangs. I think Yoshimi's design as a whole is reminiscent to a strawberry shortcake, or some other red-fruited dessert, but I think her hair is like the simple sweetness of vanilla.
Yoshimi's band outfit is the reason why I went into a bit of a tangent about twin tails, pigtails, and how they're the same thing, yet seem to be different as well. Yoshimi's hair is basically the same as her normal outfit, just with her hair now tied at her neck instead of above her eyes. But calling Band Yoshimi's hair twin tails definitely seems wrong... As such, I believe it's correct to label her hair as pigtails specifically. Yoshimi's hair is in pigtails. And her hair is just as light as before, but instead of using the white and pink ribbons from before, Yoshimi chose to wear simple thin red ribbons to tie her hair. This does make sense, as it helps to more boldly label her as "the red one of the group", and having each member with a striking color helps differentiate them, while also letting them blend together in harmony when they play! Or something like that. Yoshimi was the one who did the costumes for the band, and I imagine that's the logic she went with.
Finally, there's Mummy Yoshimi. It's fascinating how much hair she's actually hiding when it's tied up, and the natural look is a cute treat. Something that's also nice is the two locks of hair coming from behind her ears to rest in front of her chest, making this outfit have a pure touch to it, even if that wasn't intentional.
I can't help but think Yoshimi's look is very cute. She has a nostalgic look to her, and it goes well with the rest of her club. They all have their own looks to them, but there's an honesty that ties it all together, and makes it feel all the more satisfying.
Yoshimi definitely strikes me as a girl who puts in more effort than you'd initially expect, and her Mummy costume is a good example of that. Perhaps it's because it has longer to group together, but it makes Yoshimi's hairstyle, how it's easy to spot the different locks and how it likely makes her shaking her head no a very cute routine in how her hair will go in all sorts of directions, feel surprisingly special. Maybe it's just something that's normal to her, but she definitely takes great care of her hair. Now, while I earlier stated that Yoshimi's hair reminds me of vanilla ice cream in how simple and satisfying it is, her hair has that unmistakable scent of strawberries to it, which only helps to further that earlier statement.
