My usual time measurement is Final Fantasy X (25) and Morrowind (24).

I'd really like to get vintage story this year. It looks like an amazing game. It'll have to wait a bit until I get my desktop computer set up though. All I have to game on right now is an old laptop. I beat a lot of games this year. It would be tough to list them all. Really enjoyed Friends of Ringo Ishikawa and the three "loathing" games though. Kingdom of loathing, west of loathing, and shadow over loathing. Hedon Bloodrite and Starsector were also very good. Ended up doing a no death warrior run of diablo 1, and I re-beat the campaigns of starcraft, warcraft 2, and warcraft 3 as well. It was a good year for gaming. Can't really think of any upcoming games I'm interested in. I'm sure there's some good stuff coming but I haven't really been paying attention.

These two games are the only things coming from Nintendo for 2026 that I am aware of which are promising. Have there been any other announcements? Usually I'd expect a new Mario game to hit the pipeline by now but we haven't seen anything about that yet. I think the Switch 2 is due some big announcements that were not present at the Game Awards. Maybe a new Pikmin game, maybe a new F-Zero.
