to be fair, grisaia does tell you from the get go that all 5 girls who are the sole students of the school have various degrees of fucked up backstories, both in the promotional material and in narrative when the principal tells you something about the girls.

as a standalone anime, it's ok. As an adaptation of a visual novel, like most other adaptations it feels rushed, and some parts of the girls' routes got outright changed, for example
in Amane's route in the VN, they encounter the hunter guy in the woods while visiting the site where the incident happened and that's where they fight him. in the anime however the hunter guy somehow takes the school hostage and Yuuji instead has Makina set up a trap in the toilet so Yuuji can snipe him. i can't recall exactly from where now but i remember that mirroring another situation from one of the VNs where Yuuji also has Makina tag along during one of his missions and has Makina do the same tactic of breaking one of the urinals/toilets so the target would be forced to use one where Yuuji has an angle on from the window., understandably to make it make sense that all of the routes happened. meikyuu and rakuen however are more faithful to the source than kajitsu. if you care about faithfulness then just read the kajitsu vn before watching the meikyuu and rakuen anime, but meikyuu's and rakuen's story even in the vns sort of assume that all the routes happened anyways and all the heroines bonded with yuuji deeply through whatever happened in their routes.
