New Day New Game
Today I played No One Lives Forever
An adventurous FPS action romp styled after Spy Thrillers and 007.
<How Compelling is the Game?
Very! The premise of spy adventure games during the cold war is usually very fun to deal with, so I am excited to see the other locales the game has to offer outside of time spent in Morocco.
<Would you play it again?
I do! Though the FPS features just seem bog standard so any further gameplay is likely just to experience the story and levels. Of course the game can't be mentioned without how inaccessible it is to acquire legally due to issues of ownership, but I hope more people can take the time to experience it.
<Likes and Dislikes
Good:
>Fun premise
>Funny Dialogue
>Multiple ways to approach a level
Bad
>Stealth seems very hard to pull off since detection is easy
>Hitscan enemies so its hard to see and dodge projectiles outside of hunkering behind barrels or corners
Unrelated to the game itself, but since its a legacy title, a lot of the sprites like the health bar, weapons, and text can be very small and unreadable.
