I only ever playued the first one and I couldn't quite understand what to do. This was by old Rareware if I recall right, their output back then was all over the place. You had some real gems and then crap like Taboo the Sixth Sense. Fun fact: This franchise was localized as Elron d for the Japanese market and got a cartoon/anime facelift
>>93 The first and second W&W were straightforward, even if batshit chaotic hard for beginners. You just beat levels until the game is done. W&W3 stands out because it wasn't that. It's an open world game that you need to figure out how to beat by exploring and talking to NPCs. It's much more chill. I do recommend it to you if the first game wasn't your cup of tea.
>>91 It's the only one of the trilogy that I never played. I always liked the artstyle and music of the W&W games.
Never played it. In fact, the only one I played out of the trilogy was the first one.
>>112 On original hardware, I'd say the third game is VASTLY harder than the first, which itself is a lot harder than the second. The second game features the least tedium of the three and offers the most flexible continue system. If you go for a 1CC, they even out a lot in difficulty. I've never done that with the first game... I played as a kid and just continued as much as I wanted. In the third game, there is no other choice, except of course cheating with save states. Anyway the third game is pretty cool. They're all pretty cool.
I like it
It's the best in the series but hard as fuck due to the no continues conditional.

i fucking love wizards and warriors man, but never could get into the sequels. I'm a sucker for some comfy exploration and skill-based platformer, but the sequels just don't do it for me man. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ9xwkMr3e4
